In the early 20th Century, magazine editor Charles Kasper thinks he is in luck when one day he discovers a set of documents in his mailbox. Said documents detail the strange exploits of one Ziel Adara, a man who, according to these writings, has called upon the powers of the supernatural to fight evil across the globe. He even has his own impish familiar, Hyk. Such bold claims and the surrounding intrigue are just what Charles needs for his fledgling publication! But as the letters keep coming, so too does a sense of foreboding, and Charles may have to deal with a startling proposition: could such outlandish tales actually be true?
