When I finished that first book I ran straight to Marine.

“This book, it’s not possible!” I said to her.

“I know, children of the gods, possession, the Ashi. All of this had been lost time, things that we never could’ve believed existed.” She said back to me.

“Have you translated the rest?” I asked her, “We can learn so much about our world, about what happened.”

“I am nearly finished the second one, you can have it once I’m finished.” She told me.

“Good, do not tell anyone about these books.” I said to her.

“What? Why? People need to know what happened, about what is real.” She said to me.

“They will, but there are many that won’t want these books to see the light of day. These books could prove there is more the world than what is left, there are many that don’t want the world to change, if we can study these books, understand them, maybe we can make a change.” I told her.

“Okay, Liam, I won’t tell anyone. But this is bigger than just you and I.” Marine said to me.

“I agree, but for now, we must keep these safe.” I told her.

I looked down at the series of books that are to be translated, what other tales could we learn. Beasts, demons, all of this was thought of as fairy tales, but if they were true it could change the world as we know it. Hopefully, for the better.
