“Big Brother Shen, do you use a weapon?”
“I haven’t used one before, I have never had to fight so I don’t have one either.”
Shen replied as he took out a random top-grade flying sword, given by Long Tian. Shen and Xue’er were currently walking through the market place after leaving the Soaring Phoenix Auction House.
“It doesn’t look very strong to me. An Earth Immortal could block a strike from this sword with his fleshy body.” Shen commented after inspecting the sword and recalling the strength of Manager Feng.
“Big Brother Shen, you have to put your spiritual power into it. Otherwise, it will be hard to break someone’s spiritual power shield.” Xue’er smiled and took the sword from Shen.
“Here, like this.” Xue’er proceeded to input spiritual power into the sword.
The sword started to shine and one could feel a sense of danger emitted from it.
“Oh, it got sharper. And stronger. Let me try.”
Xue’er withdrew her spiritual power from the sword and handed it back to Shen.
Shen did not cultivate in spiritual power. Therefore, he had to borrow the spiritual power from the atmosphere. The sword started to faintly shine. However, it was different from Xue’er’s demonstration. The light started to fluctuate and the sharpness did not improve at all. It was more like a container for spiritual power.
“Oh, it seems different. Big Brother Shen, why do you use the surrounding spiritual power?”
“Well, I don’t cultivate in spiritual power so I don’t have a choice, haha. Let me try something else.”
Spiritual power naturally left the sword when Shen had stopped the input. He then used a very small amount of chaos power and fed it to the sword.
*Crack crack*
“Ah! Big Brother Shen, what did you do?!”
The sword started to crack and slowly crumbled. The remains gradually turned into powder before dispersing into the air. The surrounding cultivators froze upon the scene and slowly withdrew away from the couple.
“Ha, Haha…… Let’s go Xue’er.” Shen gave a dry laugh and pulled Xue’er and quickly left the area.
“I tried putting in my chaos power into it. I didn’t know it would destroy the sword.” Shen explained with a depressed expression.
The snow fox did not make any noise and just looked at everything in Xue’er’s embrace. It did not seem to be shocked by the display of the sword being destroyed.
The couple and one fox had unknowingly arrived near the vicinity of Green Bamboo Manor.
“Xue’er, let’s go there again, I feel like drinking wine.” Shen lead Xue’er inside the restaurant where they were greeted by the waitresses.
On the first floor, Shen and Xue’er were seated with Little White sitting on top of the table, eating various dishes.
Shen sat there drinking slowly while Xue’er poured one cup after another. The picture looked strangely peaceful. The surrounding people could not help but turn their heads at such a sight.

““Welcome to Green Bamboo Manor!””
Shen could hear the more than usual excited voices of the waitresses. As he was seated facing the entrance, he could see a group of young people walking in.
The group consisted of two beautiful females green and pink clothes followed by four handsome youths who were all dressed in gold and red robes that formed a vivid flame pattern. The entire group was seemed to be standing behind the girl dressed in the green robe that looked to be in similar age to Long Xue’er.
As they walked in, the timid young girl in the pink dress saw Little White on the table along with Shen and Xue’er.
“What a cute fox!” The girl exclaimed and had her vision fixed on Little White.
“Junior Sister Mei, have you taken a liking for that fox? Don’t worry, I will get it for you!” One of the youths said out loud towards the timid girl and started walking towards Shen and Xue’er.
“Ah, wait-” The young girl wanted to call out to stop the youth but her voice was too quiet.
The youngster came to a stop in front of Shen’s table. “How much for the fox? My Junior Sister has taken a liking for it.”
Shen was a bit stunned. Xue’er replied calmly with a smile before Shen could speak. “I’m sorry, my friend is not for sale.”
“One hundred mid-grade spirit stones!” The youth yelled out thinking that the couple wanted to increase the price. One hundred mid-grade spirit stones could indeed buy a Foundation stage monster beast pet. The youth thought this price would be sufficient.
The remaining youngsters approached the table and stood behind the youth.
The timid girl attempted to call out once more. “Senior Brother Guo!”
“Don’t worry Junior Sister Mei. I will get you the fox!
Two hundred mid-grade spirit stones!”
Shen wrinkled his brows. “I’m sorry friend. The little fox is not for sale.” Shen replied with a small smile since he did not wish for a conflict.
“You! Don’t go too far! This fox isn’t even Foundation stage, I’m already giving you a large sum for it!” The youth thought that Little White was not strong since his cultivation stage was not high enough to see through Little White whom has restrained her Soul Formation stage aura.
He would not even take a second glance if it was not for Junior Sister Mei.
“It is not a matter of price, we will not be selling Little White. Now, please excuse us.” Shen stood up and attempted to leave the restaurant since he was not in the mood to continue drinking.
“You can go but leave the fox behind and take the spirit stones while you still can.” Junior Brother Guo said coldly.
“Big Brother Shen, leave it to Little White.” Xue’er finally spoke up and looked at Little White.
Little White had stopped eating and had been observing the group since the youth came over. She looked at the timid young girl.
Suddenly, a soul shaking aura enveloped the six youngsters.
“You are from Pill God Sect, are you not? Since when did the disciples from a large famous sect forced people to do something they do not wish to do?”
Xue’er had noticed the origin of the four males from their robes. The group was frozen under the aura of Little White and their faces paled.
*Whoosh whoosh*
Two forms appeared in front of the six youths and dispelled the aura. The youths breathed heavily and looked at Little White in horror.
“Uncle Hong!” “Senior Sister Meng An!”
The two people with powerful auras were a middle-aged man with white short hair and a young-looking woman who seemed to be in her twenties.
““Soul Formation magical beast!””
The youths were further shocked. Junior Brother Guo’s face drained of all blood on thinking that he, a Foundation stage cultivator, tried to purchase a Soul Formation magical beast with two hundred mid-grade spirit stones.
“What happened here?” The middle-aged man called Uncle Hong asked youths. Junior Brother Guo explained the situation hurriedly.
The middle-aged man looked at the two ordinary looking people standing before him.
“Half-step Soul Formation!” He exclaimed once more once his vision reached Long Xue’er. He was shocked but inwardly thought that the owner of a Soul Formation magical beast cannot be weak.
The youths were further terrified thinking of the worst case scenario.
[We should draw back, Junior Sister Meng. I cannot see through the male at all.]
The middle-aged man sent a sound transmission to Meng An beside him. Meng An quickly agreed upon hearing this information, since she was the weaker of the two.
“Two, please forgive these juniors. We will be happy to pay for your meal as an apology.”
Shen and Xue’er looked at each other. “Ok, no problem. We will take our leave if there are no more issues.”
Shen nodded towards the middle-aged man. Xue’er took Little White in her bosom and pulled Shen’s hand and proceeded to walk out of the restaurant.
Junior Sister Mei looked at Little White with a longing as the couple disappeared from their vision.
