I open my eyes and feel the softness under me and remember that I am currently within a newbie village. I get up and off the bed, albeit unwillingly. I leave the inn and head towards the skill shop and push open the door. Once I enter the skill shop, the design is similar to the class shop, having a counter with an old man behind it. I walk up to the old man and he just looks down at me.
"What do you want, kid?"
I ignore the last part and reply to him.
"I want to see all of the skills I can currently obtain, if that is fine."
He just looks down at me while squinting his eyes a bit, and I just keep a fixed gaze on him until he snorts and waves his hand, causing windows to appear in front of me.

- Unique Race/Class Skills -

- Abysmal Orb
Basic skills and some better skills, what I expected. What I didn't really expect was the unique skills. Being able to choose 2 skills from the ordinary skills will probably allow my skills to go up a level from what the current level they would be at, assuming I already own those skills. The problem is which unique skill should I choose...
'Pha, Can you show me the info for the two unique skills?'
- Blood Servant: Bite into a living human neck with your fangs and they will turn into a half vampire half human hybrid that will follow your every command, even if it results in death. You can only have 2 Blood Servants at level 1, Each level increases the amount by 1. No Cooldown
- Abysmal Orb: Spawn a black orb formed from the power of the abyss. The orb will contain remarkable powers of destruction, allowing one to use it as a trump card. The power of the orb is 1/4th that of a nuclear missile. No side effects from use. Cooldown of 4 months.
Huh. They are both quite good skills, but currently I would have no use for the Abysmal Orb, as such I will pick the Blood Servant instead. I will also pick shadow steps and danger perception aswell. After I decide I point at the three skills and they all turn into an orb of light that places itself within my mindscape, giving me all of the information of them.
You have obtained the skill Shadow Steps. As you already own Shadow Steps Lv2 it will be upgraded to Lv3
You have obtained the skill Danger Perception. As you already own Danger Perception Lv1 it will be upgraded to Lv2
You have obtained the Unique skill Blood Servant Lv1.
After all of the information about the skills stops flowing into my mind, I thank the old man and leave the skill shop and decide to head to the mission area. I reach the similar counter with an old man, just missing out on the building. I walk up to the counter and just like the others, he looks down at me.
"What do you want child."
"Show me the current missions I am capable of accepting."
He waves his hand and causes a screen with a decent amount of information to pop up.
- Missions -
Rewards are automatically granted upon completion.
- Kill the 1000 zombies that are marching towards the eastward survivor camp of 25000 people. Rewards are 5 levels and 2500 points.
- Find the survivor camp of 80000 people that is located somewhere in the north. Rewards are 3 level sand 850 points.
This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.
- Establish or join a group of atleast 20 people above level 15 before the zombies and beasts start their evolution. Rewards are 10 levels and 5000 points.
- Kill 10 Tier 1 beasts. Rewards are 3 levels and 750 points.
- Kill the 'Bandits' that have a base located in the northeast. Rewards are 10 levels and 3000 points.
All of them except for the beast killing mission seem quite hard, yet the rewards make up for the diffuculty. I feel the hardest one would be the group of 20 people above level 15. Not many people are actually brave enough to go out and actively kill zombies and beasts to increase their levels and strength. It might be doable after the zombies and beasts start evolving, but before then it is quite diffucult.
I accept all of the missions and leave the mission area and look around the newbie village before deciding that there is nothing of use remaining for me to take, so I decide to leave the village rather than wasting my time here. I walk over to the village entrance and walk out of it and decide to head East so I can hopefully encounter that group of 1000 zombies, as it will be good experience for me.
I casually run east with a speed that easily rivals that of sports cars. Along the way I do encounter the occasional zombie groups, which I quickly kill before continuing east. I kill about 15 small groups of zombies before it turns dark and I simply plop down beside a tree and doze off without worry.
After I wake up I notice that the sun is just rising, which means it is probably only about 6 am, not that I mind. I stretch and begin my run east again, though this time I only find 3 or 4 groups of zombies before it turns dark. Again I just plop down on the ground and sleep before waking up and continuing.
I have probably run for a total of 50+ hours before I find something resembling a survivor camp, though I can't be sure. I don't directly walk over to it in the open and decide to enter stealth and sneak around. I find that this is indeed the camp with around 25000 people that the mission has stated, which means an army of over 1000 zombies will be here sooner or later. If I didn't appear here all these people would likely have died, as the amount of people who look like fighters only amount to about 3000, with only a few hundred above level 10, if I am correct.
Before my stealth runs out I find a spot that is hidden from everybody while also showing me an overview of the whole camp. I notice that the people here seemingly have no worries. They have enough food to last all the people here for about 6 months of time, the problem is whether they can last 6 months to eat all that food. Highly doubtful as there is less than a month until the evolution.
I casually laze about in my hidden spot and don't bother about anything else. It is a good rest for me as I have been constantly fighting the past week or so. After resting in my spot for about 3 days is when it happened. The army of a thousand zombies has finally appeared in the distance, and it is quite the sight. The army of brainless and roaming piles of rotting flesh gathering in the same direction by instinct, I assume.
The people who were on watch naturally noticed them when they were only about 2 or 3 hours away from the camp, which is quite sad. Though it is probably already good considering not everybody can be like me with insane stats and increased senses.
The people on watch instantly starting smacking some bell like things which sounded about the whole camp, startling everybody. Everybody who is part of the camps fighters instantly run towards the direction the horde is coming from and they start conversing with the people on watch. I don't know what they are saying as I am not close enough, yet I can make out the basics of the conversation.
The people on watch instantly pointed towards the horde while yelling at the other people, who all pale at the appearance of the horde. They instantly run back to all the survivors and gather them in one spot, which is with the food. Nearly everybody has a machete or a metel staff, while the fighters mainly have some kind of crappy version of my darksteel sabre.
They set up some quick traps like pitfalls and such, while creating a formation like thing with all the fighters together, though mostly all of them are scared shitless, they know they need to fight in order to survive this obstacal of theirs. The zombies quickly arrive outside of the camp and start falling into the basic pitfall traps that were created.
The zombies fell into the dozens of pitfall traps, yet due to the sheer amount of zombies they simply start being able to just walk over their buddies and cross over the pitfalls. The fighting survivors start shouting something and a dozen or 2 people with bows and arrows come over to the wall and start firing at the zombies.
By the time the zombies finally reach the wall, they lost about 300, leaving only 700 or so left to deal with. The number is still a large amount, yet it is still quite better than the whole horde. The people with the bows threw them to the side and grabbed machetes and sabres and joined the other people who are fighting in the frontline against the zombies.
Within 30 minutes, 60% of the camps fighters have fallen, yet there still remains 400 zombies. At this point I am just simply bored to death, so I decide to join. I jump down from my spot and bring out my darksteel sabre whilst activating my shadow steps. My speed is alot faster than before due to the level up, and I arrive before all the zombies within 3 seconds and instantly start slashing about wildly.
I cut down a few dozens of zombies before they start crowding around me. I kill another dozen or two before I can't take the pressure from all the zombies and decide to use my shadow teleport and remove myself from the zombies encampment. As of now the 400 zombies dropped to around 250. I regain my stamina for a minute and jump back into the zombies. I keep slashing about with my sabre ignoring all the appearing notifications. The zombies quickly dwindle down with me joining and now they are finally all about killed. When there is only 60 or so left I silently leave the area and jump back up to my little hiding spot and check my current status.

Name: Twelve Strength: 40(43) Intelligence: 22 Title 1: Shadow Dancer Age: 12 Speed: 40(42) Endurance: 32(34) Title 2: N/A Gender: Female Dexterity: 40 Vitality: 560 Title 3: N/A Race: Vampire Progenitor Level: 53 Class: Shadow Dancer Points: 13500
Jesus! I gained 26 levels which is a huge 104 stat points! Not to mention the 13500 points, I guess I completed the mission as I shouldn't have that many points. The 104 stat points though... Quite insane to me. I guess I will put 30 into Strength, Speed and Dexterity, while putting the last 14 into Endurance.
Looking up at the sky, it is currently becoming night so I decide to just sleep and deal with the camp after I wake up, since I am tired as shit after killing hundreds of zombies. So I lay down atop the giant pillar thing where nobody can see me and simply fall asleep ignoring all the chaos below.
