Hoshi had fallen into a deep sleep.
His consciousness kept fading in and out as he struggled to come back. He was sinking in a sea of nothingness, unable to swim. It was as if his entire body was already underwater and would never float back up.
That is until a warm, soft hand reached for him, grabbing it and pulled Hoshi back to the surface. Back to consciousness.
Hoshi opened his eyes. He was greeted by the beautiful blonde girl he had saved. She had golden worried eyes, but as she saw Hoshi awaken, on her face appeared a soft smile.
"A-are you okay?" she asked, worried.
Hoshi was still exhausted and only nodded, unable to yet speak.
"I'm really sorry about this." she continued, "I shouldn't have gone to the mountain. You got badly hurt saving me."
Hoshi only smiled, happy that he had succeeded. He looked around the caver. Blood was all over the ground and the blue fire of the goblet had gone out along with the magic of the dragon.

Hoshi had won, but with a great cost of damage to his body. But at the moment all he could think about was how happy he was to have saved the girl and see her smile.
The girl then raised her hands as if holding a ball as a small, yellow ball of light appeared between her hands. She then separated her hands the glow following and chanted some sort of spell.
It wasn't much, but Hoshi could feel himself regaining power. Not a lot, but enough to walk to the nearest city.
The girl helped Hoshi stand up as he clung to her, barely standing up.
Hoshi wanted to thank the girl, but the words got stuck on his tongue as he was too exhausted to speak.
Like that slowly and carefully walking down the mountain both of them arrived at the nearest city, which was quite large.
They went over to the gate, which unlike the city which Hoshi had landed by, Celestis, was open, as if inviting anyone who came inside.
As they were walking into the city Hoshi managed to read the city's name - "Flarleth - City of Flame".
Hoshi had gotten over the mountain, defeated the dragon, and was now safe in the city.
Hoshi had finished the first chapter of his adventure.
