She limp and crawl through the empty fields. Watching carefully every step, every light, every sound.
In her mind, there was no space to think where she was or how she got there. The only thing that his mind was occupied with was surviving the next minutes.
Her clothes were torn apart, she was covered in dirt and mud, the usual sweetness in his eyes had vanished and given away to terror.
She stopped, she recognized this place, she knew this place. She turned his head slowly high, fearing what she was to find there.
“Hi, young lady why all this haste?”
She turned around, but there was no one. That place was completely desert and dark.
“Why you fear us so much?”
No, no, not again. She started running again, faster, more carefully, the woods were dark and dangerous, but she didn’t care. A small part of her wanted to trip over and break her neck, that would be a fast and painless death. Surely way better than what was following for her.
She paused and gained breath. She turned his head, only trees and trees. Trees there, trees here. They were dark and grey, high and static. There was no wind, nothing. Was that really a tree? Was that a person or a monster? She couldn’t think about that. Trees were just an illusion. Trees and she were all one and the same, she was the trees and the trees were her.
“Your mind is slipping away...”
No, there was a difference, she wasn’t a tree! What she was thinking? She continued to run in the night. She fell many times over, gaining little wounds along the way. She slipped from a rock and continue to run for long before noticing that she was bleeding, and quickly.
“Do you think that you could wander here without consequences?”

She looked around, her mind was playing jokes on her. She knew, there were no voices, no trees, no darkness, no bleeding. In reality, she was in her bed under warm sleeves sleeping soundly. In reality, this was just an illusion, like everything else.
Something moved, she ran. This felt too much real, to much tense. Her legs started falling her. Her vision saw things that were not there. His ears heard sounds that were not played. Her nose smelled perfumes that didn’t exist. What was happening? Where she was?
The trees started moving, shadows gained form, the moon started smiling, the voices became cheerful, the ground longing, the grass fizzy.
“Look! Everything has a life!”
What she was even looking at this point? Her vision became split, the rock existed and didn’t. She was and wasn’t.
“You live for those moments, do you?”
The forest became alive, lights started appearing, things with strange red clothes and white mask replaced the trees. The moon became a sun that didn’t shrine light. The stars became a dance of lights and colours. Everything was dancing and moving.
She stopped and looked back.
“Do you see us now?”
She saw them, they noticed. The forest changed appearance, it became an autumnal red and yellow forest in full daylight.
“Look at me” the figure in front of her spoke, “what you see?”
Everything was watching her, the entirety of creation and heaven.
“A madman” she answered.
He laughed.
“Me?”
Laughter louder
“Look at how cheerful I am! Look at those clothes! What can I be?”
She paused an thought. All the sudden she realized. The figure smiled.
“My inner expression?” she said timidly.
He nodded and spoke “Why do you run from me? Why do you demonize me? Why can’t we just play and create in accordance with the whole of creation?” he extended his hand.
She paused, a storm of emotions took over her, for all she knew this could be just a weird dream forgotten in seconds by an early alarm clock, or the most important moment in her life.
She looked around, strange fluffy circular red creatures had appeared and were watching her, animals of all kind and deviations were watching her, the grass had eyes and was watching her, and everything changed expression as she was overtaken by an emotion or the other.
She took his hand and danced in accordance with the whole of creation.
