I woke up earlier than usual since i was wondering what to do next now i have bought a slave.
The main reason for which I bought a slave rather than joining a party of adventurer's was simple.For instance, If you take the case of an adventurer's party, for accepting a quest you need the approval of all your party members and they might even reject to participate in the quest if its too dangerous.I thought that It would seriously piss me off if they reject a quest that i wanted to complete.But in case of a slave, a slave has to follow her master in the quest regardless of how dangerous it might be.
Even though I bought a slave for assisting me in my fights against monsters, I was still conflicted in my mind, Because I was still not totally comfortable with the idea of slaves or their treatment in this world.
If I wanted to describe how slaves are treated in this world, It could be said that they are treated as if they are trash rather than treating them like a living being. The slaves don't have any kind of identity other than their slave collar and all their basic rights are stripped away from them, since the moment they are turned into slaves.It seems that the majority of slaves are first captured as prisoners of war during the course of war and then turned into slave.
I thought that the girl who was sleeping peacefully on the futon laid in the floor was also enslaved due to similar circumstances. I felt bad for her but there is nothing that could be done by me to help her situation or abolish the system of slavery.
Even if i release her from slavery she would not be really free, I heard from Ryan that on the case that they manage to go back to their kingdom, they were still to be treated as slaves by their own race regardless of their position they had before they were enslaved.The reason was due to the fact that the slave system was present in all the races.He muttered some saying something like, Once a Slave.... Always a slave
I couldn't exchange any kind of conversion with her since the time i bought her from the slave house as she was mostly silent.And I didn't press on any further since I was also tired, Hence I thought it would be a good idea for us to get better acquainted with each other before starting the journey to complete the next quest.
As I tried to wake her up using my hands, she suddenly tried to grab hold of my hands but failed since i took back by hands since i saw she was trying to grab it.
"So you were waiting for me to do something, didn't you?"
She trurned her away from me without answering.Hmmm... Nice start Robert. I sighed then asked.
"What is your name ?"
-No answer.
"Then I take it. You don't want any breakfast this morning either right?"
Slightly shocked after hearing my words, she said
"Damn, Hey Wait... I never said i don't want any breakfast"
"Wow..... So you could talk, For a moment I was afraid thinking that you were a mute. Why didn't you answer me before?"
"I don't talk with perverts"
"What... How am I a pervert ?"
"Just now, you tried to touch my breasts"
Shocked by the sudden accusation, In a slightly raised voice, I said.
"Don't cause misunderstanding on your own, I was just trying to wake you up since i thought you were sleeping"
Somewhat convinced that i was speaking the truth, She said
"My name is Selena"
"Selena, Its a nice name.... By the way my name is Robert"
"Hmmm... Yeah I remember, You said it to me yesterday itself, Never mind, So when are you going to order breakfast
"Robert, I am starving "
"Wait a minute, I will go and order now" After i ordered, the breakfast was brought after some time.And as soon as Selena saw the breakfast, She started gobbling down the food.
"Hey, Eat slowly You are going to die, choking on food" I said since i was slightly concerned about her.
"Don't worry about me, You just eat your share, But If you don't feel like eating then give it to me" she said while having food in her mouth.
Afraid that she would eat even my share after she finishes her breakfast, I quickly started eating.When she saw that she slightly smile.And it was beautiful.
After finishing the breakfast, I asked how she became a slave.So she started telling me her story.It seems that her parents died when she was young.So she was staying with her aunt and trained hard to became a mage under her aunt's guidance.But tragedy stuck last month since her aunt died while she was on a quest in devil's continent.Not wanting to be around the place where her aunt died she decided to explore the world. She joined a party of adventurer's who seemed nice enough to explore different places.But soon she was tricked and turned into a slave as they harboured a secret hate against elves due to the war..
'I am sorry about your aunt, But why did you form a party with humans, didn't the two races fight in the war?'
'I thought it was in the past since the war was over.' She said with a sad face.
'So, Not only you were a sheltered and spoiled brat, It seems to me that you are also quite naive'
'Hey.... Even though it might be true, How could you say that to my face, Don't you have any delicacy? '
'Haha..... Seriously? I was just simply saying that for fun, Never knew you would accept it without any rebuttal'
Hearing that she squirmed in her place and said 'No... I didn't Tsk.... Never Mind'
"Btw... You said you were a mage right? Is that why I can't see your stats, Did you create a spell to mask the stats huh?.'
'You did well, for a human that is'
'Why did it sound like an insult even though you were complementing me?'
'Tsk.. You found Out, Very well. I will show you my stats. Behold" With an evil laugh, she showed her stats to me

I slightly patted her head and said 'Yes, I will treat you like a spoiled little child' She tried to punch me when i said that but i quickly blocked it and said.
'Ok.... playtime is over, Want to go on an real adventure this time, Selena? '
'Yes... Robert' she replied with a smile.
Selena's Pov:
Ever since my parents died, I was always lonely other than the company of my aunt.I ignored outside contacts and trained very hard under the instructions of my aunt to become strong staying inside the house.But after I heard the news of my aunt's death.I left the house and the city since i thought it would remind me of the time I spent with my aunt.
I decided to explore the world by becoming an adventurer.Since i thought life would be fun as I go on many adventures.I entered the human kingdom in search of an adventure.I thought sine the war was over, It would be no problem And it was true to some extent the people were looking at me with contempt but nobody tried to attack me,.
Then suddenly a party of adventurer's containing 2 males knights, one female mages invited me to join their quest.Since i was looking for an adventure I gladly accepted.I was also happy since they talked to me without any hatred like a friend.And i was overjoyed at the idea of becoming friends as i didn't have many friends due to my training.
We hunted monsters for a while and took a break since everybody was tired.The female mage, who was called Leticia talked with me for a while.And i was really happy since it was the first time i was talking with a girl who is near my age.
She handed me a bottle of water saying that, it was a blessed water an that it would help relieve my fatique.Not suspecting her words, I drank the water, then suddenly my head was feeling dizzy and i fainted.But before fainting I heard Leticia saying
'Stupid Bitch'
When i opened my eyes, i found that i was bound and placed in the slave house, i thought of using magic to escape but as i tried to use magic.I experienced a huge pain in my head.
'Sweetie, Don't try to use magic or else you might die.Did you forget that there is a magic collar placed in your neck?'
I sighed as I realised that I was fitted with a magic collar, unless i have permission I cannot use any magic.I felt anger rushing inside my mind.I decided that i would exact my revenge on those party of adventurers if i had the chance.
After a day.... the owner brought a young man to my room, I surmised that he was here to buy me since they were having a serious discussion outside the room.I was slightly relieved since it looked like he was an adventurer atleast i was not going to end up a sex slave.
After the young man bought me and the magic contract was over.We came out of the slave auction, He introduced himself to me politely and asked for my name.Since i was not in the mood i silently ignored him.Surprisingly he tooked the cue and didn't ask any more questions
After reaching the room at the inn, he ordered some food for both of us, I ate it quickly since it was very tasty.After eating the food, he asked me to sleep on the floor.Damn... Heartless bastard, Asking a young girl to sleep on the floor.I thought to myself.But still I was kinda relieved since he wasn't trying to do anything weird.And as i was going to sleep on the floor, I found a futon under the bed.Feeling happy at the discovery, i went to sleep.
In the morning while sleeping i sensed a hand coming towards me, Thinking that the guy was trying to assault me in the sleep i tried to grab his hand but I couldn't as he took his hand back.After some talking, i understood that it was all a simple misunderstanding.
He ordered the breakfast and was constantly bickering about how to eat food and stuff.Even though i acted as if i am annoyed truthfully i enjoyed speaking with him as he was the first human with whom i had proper conversation.Even in the time while i was in the party they would only give one word commands.
After eating, he asked about my past and i told him all about it.I still don't know the reason why i unloaded my past to him but i felt a lot better after that.Then after some time he asked whether i wanted to go on an adventure with him.I immediately replied yes.
I was kinda thrilled because finally it seemed that i can go on an adventure together with him.and i hoped to god that it would be fun.

She has a lot more spells and i thought of introducing them one by one rather than spoiling it here.And about the magic affinities.I have to admit that i made a mistake in case of the other students but not in the case of the MC and Selena.
