Ric, Yota, Ren and Jim left for Kyrus Academy, An Academy founded by the four nations. The academy was founded to nurture students. As there was no such place before, the humans suffered massive caualities in the human-demon war due to the lack of strong troops. Thus, all the four nations gave some part of their land and the kyrus academy was founded at the centre, where the borders of all nations coincide.

"Hey ric! When will we arrive at the academy?" Yota asked ric with excitement in his eyes.

"This is the Tenth time you are asking me this, and this is the Tenth time iam answering, we left at sunrise, after a 3 hour walk, we will arrive at the teleportation gate which will send us infront of the kyrus academy, then we show them our books which we got from chiron as identification, then after we get our assigned rooms, we rest for 3 hours and after lunch we will have the entrance exam." Explained ric nonchalantly.

"Hey ric! Let's spar!" Asked yota with excitement

"What? You just lost yesterday!" said ric with a mischievous smile

"Why you!" Yota grumbled

"Let's fight to our hearts desire! Victory in which we shall acquire!" Quoted jim with style

"Yeah, If you have the guts! Fight!" Challenged ren

Ric thought "I need to test my limits of how much I can do but yota is not strong enough for me to do that... wait a second" ric smiled as though he got an idea. With his mischievous smile ric laughed and said "Come at me~ all of you~ if you are not scared" ric Taunted all of them. Yota fell for the taunt and activated his fire suit while charging at ric

"TAKE THIS" Yota Screamed as threw a punch, hoping to land a hit but... Ric flipped over yota and kept his hand on Yota's head and said "Nice try buddy" just as he spoke, ric summoned a barrier from his hand which, ignoring yota's fire suit defense, smashed yota to the ground. As soon as ric's foot touched the ground, Ren attacked him from the side, ric was shocked but still managed to defend himself by creating a barrier at the point of contact before he got hit, after recovering from the attack, ric noticed that fire is covering ren's hands and feet. Ren said proudly to ric "You see this? This is my magic, Firefly!"

Ric replied with a smile "Not bad~ a magic which increases offense and mobility, its very compatible for a hot head like you"

Interrupting Ric's talk, Jim attacked him with his earth magic from below, but failed as Ric jumped to dodge the attack. Jim quoted "You’re fast! That is true! But we will beat you up so much, that you won't have a clue!"

Yota, who was lying on the ground stood up and joined the fight. Yota, Ren and Jim fought very fiercely, they travelled quite a distance without Noticing, as they were immersed in the battle. Ric, on the other hand, mostly blocked and evaded their attacks, while he gauged himself and provoked them. Then after 30 minutes, ric tried to stop them "Hey! Guys sto-" but yota interrupted him and attacked, Ric once again tried to stop them after dodging yota, "Hey! Listen to me-" but he was again interrupted by Jim, who quoted "We shall not hear what you say! Until we win and you're in dismay!". Jim, Ren and Yota were very frustrated and angry, they knew ric was holding back all the time. Their barrages of attacks were full of frustration and anger, they didn't listen to what ric was saying or what he was trying to do. This went on for some time and ric, who was trying to stop them had enough of it and said "If you guys won't stop right now! I will-" yota interrupted ric and shouted

"SHUT UP! AND TAKE THIS! METEORIC.... BLAS-"

"TCH!" Ric exclaimed

As yota was about to attack, Ric suddenly disappeared from his sight. "What the- where is he?" Asked Yota with confusion and surprise on his face.

"Behind you" Ric said seriously, as appeared behind Yota with his incredible speed due to the barriers under his feet.

As Yota turned around in surprise, Ric punched him in the stomach! Forcing Yota to fall down from the impact. Seeing all this Ren charged at ric while challenging him "FIGHT ME IF YOU HAVE THE GUTS RIC!" Ric sighed and raised his hand, pointing towards ren with his finger. "Barrier shot!" Said ric and a tiny marble sized cube shaped barrier was created at the tip of his finger and launched towards Ren, hitting him on his leg. As Ren was running, he fell down while rolling on the ground and got slightly bruised. Meanwhile, Jim was casting his spell "By the power of ancient land, let the earth tremble by my command. With words of might, I call upon the mightiest quake, TERRA TREMERE!"

The ground shook with terror and dust enveloped the area, Jim who was exhausted after the spell stood there in hopes that they had won, "Did i get him?" Jim questioned himself. A silent wind blew clearing the dust, as Ric appeared carrying yota and ren "Phew~ that was quite the amazing spell Jim! If not for my speed, I would have been seriously injured." Exclaimed ric with relaxed expression as if he was relieved of his worries. Jim, who was frustrated at his own weakness, yelled "Don't think that you have won! We shall acquire victory-" ric interrupted Jim by saying

"Can you just shut up and listen to what iam saying?"

"W-what?" Questioned Jim

"Look over there," Ric pointed "we've arrived at Rode, the capital city of the kingdom."

Said Ric with a brightned expression as they watched the city, while they stood atop a hill.
