Ric, Ren, Yota, and Jimmy went near the entrance to the capital but were stopped by guards. The guards were suspicious, seeing the tattered clothes of Ric and his friends. But after showing them the books, Ric's party was assigned a guard who led them to the Kyrus Academy's portal. After paying some fees, they entered the portal and arrived at the entrance of the academy.
"Wow, So, this is Kyrus Academy!" said Yota with excitement brimming in his eyes.
The academy was very large and magnificently built, to the point that it could be called a castle. At the entrance of the academy, near the gate, there were ten small reception booths. The children were lining up there to receive the tokens to their dorms. There were carriages of noble families where the noble children sat inside comfortably, as their servants stood in the lines to get the tokens for them. The lines of children were huge! It took approximately ten minutes for Ric's party to get their tokens. Ren and Jim separated from the party to get to their dorms. Ric and Yota also started walking towards their dorms.
"Hey Ric! What is your dorm number?" Yota questioned.
"There are apparently ten dorms, and mine is number 09," Ric replied.
"Oh! Then we have the same dorm!" said Yota.
"Yeah," Ric uttered.
Yota was engulfed in thought before he asked Ric in a serious manner, "Ric, you knew the way to the academy and led us here as we fought, right?"
"Well…" Ric scratched his head before adding, "Yes, I was leading you all towards the academy as we fought," Ric replied.
"Did Jim and Ren know about this, and that's why they were upset?" Yota asked.
"I don't know about Ren, but Jim figured it out," Ric said nonchalantly.
"Will they be fine? Because today is the exam, you know," Yota asked, concern evident on his face.
"Sigh... leave them be. This world is very cruel; they need to understand their weakness and improve," Ric exclaimed, his tone unchanged.
"Oh! Come on! You talk as if you experienced that cruelty yourself!" Yota replied in a carefree manner, before laughing and moving forward, leaving Ric behind, stunned and astonished by his words, as many thoughts engulfed him. "Wait! How do I know that this world is cruel? I didn't leave the orphanage till now! Did something happen to me before I lost my memory? Who am I? What am I doing?" Ric was confused, countless thoughts rushed into his mind, engulfing him, slowly swallowing him mentally before leaving him in a trance. "Who are my parents? What happened to them? Are they dead? Who am I supposed to be? Is Ric my real name? What should I do?"
As Ric was trapped in his thoughts, unable to escape, there was a commotion growing up ahead, and the crowd of children was gathering. They were running towards it, and someone bumped into Ric, forcing him to fall down on his knees and snapping him out of his thoughts and back into reality. Ric gasped for air, struggling to differentiate reality and thoughts, his face full of panic as if he saw a ghost. But, slowly he gathered himself and then slapped his cheeks. "No, this is not the time for me to be like this! There is an exam I have to prepare for!" he encouraged himself before searching for Yota. "What? Where did Yota go?" Ric mumbled, then he saw the crowd gathered in front of him.

"What's happening over there? Wait...don't tell me!" he uttered to himself.
Ric ran towards the crowd, forcing his way through. "Come on, Yota! It's literally the day of the exam! How can you cause a commotion?!" Ric exclaimed, anger evident on his face. He pushed his way through the crowd and reached at the front, where his suspicions came true as he saw Yota grabbing the collar of another student.
"Hey! Isn't that the 3rd young master of the Trevor family?" someone among the crowd spoke.
"Wait, the 3rd young master of the Trevor family? Then is he the infamous problem child Halberd?" Ric thought with a confusing expression.
Halberd spoke to Yota in a very prideful tone. "Who do you think you are, peasant?! Do you even know who I am?"
"I don't care who you are, but bullying someone else is wrong!" Yota replied with confidence.
Ric was thinking while watching all this. "Dang it, Yota! This might be—" but suddenly, an idea popped up in his mind, and he smiled with a hint of mischief as he continued, "—very good~"
"You vermin—" before Halberd completed his sentence, Ric called out "Yota!!" as he walked towards him. "Oh Ric! You're here! Look at this guy! He was bullying—" before Yota completed his sentence, Ric interrupted him. "Shut up! Do you know who that is?!" Ric commanded Yota to remove his hand from the collar of Halberd. Ric caught Yota's hand and removed it by force. "Wait Ric, what
are you doing?" Yota asked, confusion evident on his face. "What am I doing? Don't you know who this is?! This is the young master of the famous Trevor family! Trevor Halberd!" Ric praised as he introduced Halberd to Yota.
Halberd, delighted by the praise, exclaimed proudly, "Hmph! So you know your stuff!" Ric once again continued by screaming, "Young Master Halberd is the rising star of the Trevor family! Who will become the greatest tank in history!" His voice reached the ears of everyone in the crowd. Yota was confused as to why Ric was acting like this. Ric kept praising Halberd as Yota thought, "Why is Ric behaving like this? Does he want to gain favor with this noble? But he is not the type to lick someone's boots!" Yota raised his head and spoke.
"No matter who—" Ric interrupted Yota by signaling him to keep quiet with a wink. "Wait, does Ric have something up his sleeves?" wondered Yota and kept quiet for Ric to continue. "What?! No matter who he is, he ain't tough, you say?!" Ric exclaimed with a shocking dramatic pose.
Upon hearing this, Halberd started walking towards Yota as he said in a daunting voice, "Huh?! Who does this pest think he is?" But Ric stopped him by raising his hand in front of Halberd, "What is the meaning of this?" Halberd asked with a serious tone, to which Ric put his hand down and whispered politely, "Young master! This guy thinks you're not tough! If you beat him up, then the people will say that the young master of the Trevor family is short-tempered and is unable to handle a simple taunt! But, if you show your power. Then your prestige will increase! So what do you say? It's better right?!" Halberd nodded to Ric's suggestion, and Ric yelled out,
"Everyone! This guy here thinks that Young Master Halberd is not tough! So now I will prove the young master's power through a simple test! I will unleash an attack on the Young Master with my magic! And without even using magic, the young master will defend himself with just his body!"
By hearing this, Halberd got flustered, but an arrogant thought came to his mind. "Heh! What kind of magic does a peasant use?" This thought reassured him, and he agreed to the test. As soon as he agreed, a mischievous grin grew on Ric's face as he knew what was about to happen.
