A new dawn came quickly. Égon and Cirty had already been down in the shop area. Égon was using the sofa and staring at the roof. He was waiting for Cirty to bring him a cup of coffee to start the morning.
"We will have quite a boring morning... and it is only 6 in the morning... The first customer will come around 9..."
Égon mumbled as he rubbed his eyes, trying to clear his sleepiness, and by the time he pulled his hands back, his Cirty had already arrived with a cup of hot black coffee.
"Thanks!"
Égon took a sip of the hot coffee and then sighed. Despite it being freshly made and steamy, he could quickly drink it. As he was enjoying his morning coffee, suddenly, someone knocked on the door. With a raised eyebrow, he looked at the door.
The sign clearly stated that the shop was still closed, and he knew there were no customers this early; at least no one had made any reservation. He was about to put his coffee down, but suddenly, Cirty walked past him with a smile.
"Don't worry, I will open it!"
Cirty added, and, with a smile, he walked over to the door. However, as soon as she got to the door, her smile vanished, and she opened the door with a blank expression.
Behind the door, she could see two police officers. An elf and an orc. The orc was the one who knocked on the door, holding a piece of document in one hand and a pen in the other.
"Good morning! We apologise for the early disturbance. However, the higher-ups have decided that we need to record a few extra details about the shop, namely the number of tamed animals or monsters there are, their age and the level of their tameness."
The orc spoke up. His tone was polite and respectful, and he even had a slight smile on his face.
"So... Do you have any in..."
"Yes, one..."
Cirty said as she stepped outside and closed the door behind her, and crossed her arms under her chest.
"And that would be me."
Both officer's eyes widened in shock. It took the ma few long seconds to render what the girl had just said.

"So, erm... could you tell us your race?"
The orc asked as he finally managed to regain his composure; at the same time, he started jotting down something on the sheet of paper.
"Dragon... Could we speed things up a bit? I still have a few things to do before we can open!"
"Oh, of course... I am terribly sorry; I am just shocked... I have never seen or even heard of a tamed being capable of transforming to such a human state..."
"Next question?"
"Right... I would like to ask your age and... well, the last question is meaningless, looking at you."
"That is highly classified. But I can say that I am already 18 years old."
Cirty said, and he turned around to go back inside the shop, but the elf suddenly stepped forward and grabbed her shoulder.
"Who said you are allowed to leave already? We still need to..."
The elf said with a confident smirk, which was quickly washed off as Cirty grabbed his face and lifted him up effortlessly.
"I know that your arrogant kind is quite slow on the uptake. Still, I will spell it out for you. Only Égon is allowed to touch me! Also, know that I will not hesitate to kill you if you touch me one more time!"
Cirty growled. Her red eyes were gleaming with anger, and she was extruding a powerful aura around her. It was so prominent that it was easily noticeable even with the naked eye. It seemed almost as if her entire body was engulfed in red flames.
Fortunately, Cirty calmed down quickly and dropped him down. Her blazing aura also slowly dissipated. However, her glare stayed strong.
"You will pay for..."
The elf officer shouted as he rubbed his jaw, but suddenly the orc slapped him.
"I am very sorry... Please, you can go now; I will deal with this idiot colleague of mine!"
Cirty didn't reply; she just turned around and stepped back into the shop quickly; the orc could feel that the moment she turned around, her attitude and aura had completely changed. Previously he thought he would die, but the moment Cirty turned around, it was as if she had completely vanished.
"What the hell was that for man? Why did you hit me?!"
"Idiot... Couldn't you read the situation? If you want to die so badly, just do it alone; don't try to get me killed as well!"
Cirty stepped back into the shop to see Égon still sitting on the sofa. He had already drunk his morning coffee, and he was just looking at the floor. With a smile, Cirty swiftly walked over to him and took the empty cup.
"I will take care of it!"
"Thanks"
Égon replied; he then stood up and slightly stretched his hands.
"So, who was it? I take it they were not quite friendly, and I could feel your anger."
"No, it is nothing important. Don't worry about it, Égon!"
Égon took a breath to reply, but then suddenly his phone started ringing. He took out his phone from his pocket and looked at it. On the screen he noticed that Aier was calling him.
"Hi, Aier!"
"Égon, I am calling about tomorrow's meeting."
"Yes? What is it? Did something come up? We can schedule it for another day if you want."
"No, this is not about it. I will meet you in your shop as we agreed, but I will be bringing the twins as well... I believe they have found out something important after such a long time."
"I am curious... Aier... Is it related to that fight?"
"Yes...I will talk more about it tomorrow; I will just tell you briefly what they found. Remember what happened after the end of that fight? Thought that both of them had died, but no... It seems that is not the case... The twins might have found a way where that Foin is!"
