"Nate, what brings you here so early in the morning?" Samuel asked, his voice gruff.
"I need your help," Nate replied, his tone serious. "I need information on the brotherhood's next move."
Samuel nodded, stepping aside to let Nate and Seraphina enter the building. The inside was dimly lit, and the smell of must and decay filled the air. Samuel led them to a small room at the back of the building, where a single candle flickered on a table in the center of the room.
"So, what do you need to know?" Samuel asked, taking a seat at the table.
Nate took a seat across from Samuel, with Seraphina sitting next to him. He recounted the details of their situation, explaining what had happened in the cathedral and what they needed to do next.
Samuel listened intently, nodding occasionally. When Nate was finished, Samuel leaned back in his chair, a thoughtful expression on his face.
"I see," he said. "I'll see what I can do to help. But you should be careful, Nate. The brotherhood is not to be trifled with. They have powerful allies, and they won't hesitate to use them against you."
Nate nodded, his expression serious. "I understand. We'll be careful."
With that, Samuel rose from the table and disappeared into another room, leaving Nate and Seraphina alone in the flickering candlelight.
As they waited for Samuel to return, Nate and Seraphina sat in silence, each lost in their own thoughts. The room was musty and damp, and the flickering candlelight cast eerie shadows on the walls. Seraphina shivered, and Nate placed a reassuring hand on her arm.
"Don't worry," he said, his voice low and steady. "Samuel won’t betray us." he paused for a second. "At least not too much."

She looked at him, her eyes filled with glow, and nodded.
After what felt like an eternity, Samuel returned, a look of determination on his face. "I've found something," he said, pulling a rolled-up piece of parchment from the pocket of his coat.
He placed the parchment on the table and unrolled it, revealing an intricately drawn map. "This is a map of the city," he explained. "And this," he said, pointing to a spot on the map, "is the location of the brotherhood's hideout."
Nate leaned forward, studying the map intently. "This is exactly what we need," he said, his voice filled with gratitude.
"But be warned," Samuel continued. "Getting to the hideout won't be easy. I also have some more serious news," he said, taking a seat at the table once again. "The brotherhood is planning to make a move against you tonight. They've hired a group of mercenaries to take care of the job."
Nate's expression grew grim. "Where will it happen?"
"I don't have the details," Samuel replied. "But I suggest you get out of the city as soon as possible. The brotherhood has eyes everywhere, and it's only a matter of time before they find you."
Nate nodded, rising from the table. "Thank you, Samuel. We'll be careful."
With the map in hand, Nate and Seraphina bid Samuel farewell and stepped out into the early morning light. As they made their way back to the safe house, the weight of their mission began to settle upon their shoulders. They had a lot of ground to cover and not much time to do it in.
Nate and Seraphina returned to the safe house, deep in thought and filled with a sense of determination. Fleeing the city won't be easy when mercenaries are after them, the only option is to face the enemy head-on.
They spent the rest of the day carefully planning their assault on the brotherhood headquarters. They went over every detail, ensuring that they had considered every possible scenario and that they were prepared for anything the brotherhood might throw at them.
Nate went over the layout of the building, marking potential entry and exit points on a map. Seraphina gathered their supplies, checking and double-checking their weapons to make sure they were ready for the fight ahead.
The safe house was quiet, save for the sound of their low voices as they pored over maps and discussed strategy. Every now and then, one of them would pause to consider a particular aspect of their plan or to ask the other for their thoughts on a particular detail.
As the sun began to set, they finally felt satisfied with their preparations. They were as ready as they could be for what was to come, and they both felt a sense of determination and resolve as they finished up their planning and began to gear up for their mission.
"We'll need to be quick and precise," Nate said, his voice low and steady. "The brotherhood won't hesitate to take us down if they get the chance. We need to be one step ahead of them at all times."
Seraphina nodded, her expression serious. "I understand. Let's do this."
With that, they left the safety of the safe house and set out into the night, determined to put an end to the brotherhood once and for all.
