"In dedication to Sir Raymond Collishaw of the Canadian-British Royal Air Force."

"Hey, Sleipnir, you're leg is in the way of the engines. Get off my plane."
"Hmph. Just when I found a nice spot to nap under. As excessive as triple wings may be, it gives quite a nice shade."
1917. The First Great War. The battle on the trench filled grounds, the dreadnought filled seas, and the skies claimed by hundreds of warplanes had taking a vicious turn in the pages of history. Germany and the Central Powers have conquered half of Europe and plane on expanding their influence. There to stop their advances would be the Allied Powers consisting of many nations spearheaded by the British Kingdom and the United States of America.
There were many sung and unsung heroes that have fought valiantly across the air, land and see. For now, we turn our attention to the knights in the sky. Particularly, a notable Ace among Aces in the newly reformed Royal Air Force.
A man with over 50 combat victories and have downed more planes than a certain Red Baron (by the end of the War). Someone who was born and raised from a humble town on an island, off the mainland coast of British Columbia.
A Canadian Pilot. His name was Raymond Collishaw, squadron leader of--
"Oh by the way, Ray-Ray. Did you eat my Salamanders sticks? I was saving them as a snack after my nap."
"Who the h*ll would want to eat your god-d*mn lizard tails. And give me a hand here, everyone is scrambling to sortie in a few hours so I need an extra pair of hands to fit the bombs on my plane!"

"Can't. I'm a Magician, remember? I don't do manual labour. I'll break my back."
"B*tch."
"I prefer Witch if you don't mind. Tee-hee."
The Canadian Pilot who was known as the Ace among Ace had a partner. A beautiful one. No, she wasn't a soldier serving the British Empire, American Forces, Italian Arditi, or not even the Canadian Rifles. She was this abnormal looking beauty who had the right height to be a catwalk model, the right frame to be a pin-up model, and the right looks to be a post model for some cosmetic line.
There was a perfectly normal reason why she was flagged abnormal.
"If I were you, Sleipnir, I'd ditch that flash dress. The second Maria winds up her propellers, they'll rip them right off."
"Guh!? D-don't tell me you have perverted fantasies of seeing my raven feathers being yanked off my body! Y-you lecher!"
"Take that back or I'll asked the nurse Sister Anita to spank you silly."
"Guh!? E-even though a nun, she's a devastating monster! It's a mystery as to why Britain didn't use her as a weapon against the Krauts!"
The woman was wearing a dress that made her stood out like a sore thumb in the British Airfield stationed in Cambrai. A dress made out of 1000 raven feathers. They stuck to her body so well, she could walk into a ball and fit in splendidly. Whether it was a flaw in the design or intentional, she always leaves enough cutting up to the hips to show her long and bare leg.
It's usually shown whenever she lies across a random plane in the hangar for a nap, her leg draped over the side like a cat's tail. Hence why Sir Raymond Collishaw was having difficult in adjusting the engine of his black Sopwith Triplane. The words 'Black Maria' was hand-writting in golden ink across the side, obscured by the woman's lazy arms.
"Sleipnir. I hate to say this, but I will give you to the count of three."
"Or what, throw me down behind some crates and mount me. You do realize you're facing a Magician who specializes in Ice and Fire Spells. Would you like your body served Sherbert or Flambe?"
"Oh Sister Anita. Could you be a dear and listen to my confession?"
"DEMON! DEMOOOOOOOOON!"
...For the note, there was no particular nun anywhere near the airstrip where all the triplanes were being prepared for an aerial strike. But the bluff was effective enough for the Canadian Pilot to remove the so-called British Magician that was using his beloved plane as a hammock under the French Sun. She could be found covering under an empty crate like a cat to a puppy to a lion or something.
"Another victory."
Indeed.
