Without further ado- we have finally reached the next stage
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The first month of the kingdom passed quickly, with everyone doing their job efficiently. Things began to change for the better as time progressed, and the party soon became much more busy.
Saharra continued to work on setting up the village. They had finished quite a few of the "houses" for the animal people, consisting of walls, an opening covered by fur, and a roof with a floor covered in soft material gathered from the forest. There were a few fights at first between some of the workers for the houses when they went up, but soon disappeared as more and more were made. Saharra also managed to finish her own house, which was much nicer than all the others, standing two stories tall and covered in wood shaped by Valgrim into beautiful designs. She had gotten him to do that with a smile on her face and dagger on his back. Some of the people thought they could beat her fore her house, they were shown the error of their ways. They now prostrate themselves whenever she passes by. Working with Brutus and Valgrim, they worked and completed a simple blacksmith shop. The inn was also repaired and a short palisade was created around the village.
As the month had ended, the super lake had finished filling up with water. Half the original village was underwater and the hill was now a lone island. Before it was filled, however, Valgrim and Brutus had finished creating the bridge supports and had started working on the actual bridge. Valgrim constantly worked to gain new spells for construction, and poured a lot of his free time into learning engineering. He also had to take over the mines from Scald, who was no longer in the village. Also, he still had to cast the spell on the animals everyday to put them in their human form. By the end of the month, the shadows under his eyes were getting quite dark. Even with that, he also began some secret projects with Brutus.
During the middle on the month, the group had gotten together to discuss some important matters for the kingdom.
{Flashback}
Valgrim strolled into the meeting place, eager to begin the talks. They had made some substantial progress in rebuilding the village and making the bridge. Still though, there some important things that had to be decided now before the kingdom could really be a kingdom.
The meeting place was just a small circular clearing that had a fire place in the middle and stumps surrounding it. It was a useful spot for talks.
Valgrim noted that he was the last one to arrive. Everyone else was already seated and waiting, a roaring fire blazing in the middle.
"Good to see you guys again, it's been so long since breakfast." he bowed, moving his hat in a flourishing movement.
Saharra rolled her eyes, "Your late Valgrim. As much fun as it is to listen to you try to be witty, we all have things to do."
Nods came from everyone.
Valgrim smiled, "And we are all doing good jobs. But we have to talk about these matters, they are very important."
Scald nodded, "I agree. This is an important first step in making any form of life anywhere."
Dirrg looked around excited, "Ye think dis is going to be de start of it all." Everyone looked incredulously at the dwarf. "It was started when we ripped a new a$$hole in the Earth you stupid dwarf." Scald reprimanded. Dirrg looked down in embarrassment.
Meridia looked thoughtful, "He broke....the world....with his fist. ...Dragonfist..."
Brutus looked down on his hand and clenched it, working it back and forth. He smiled, which looked terrifying on his face as usual, and growled in approval.
Valgrim tilted his head. That actually sounded right. Yes, that was the answer! "All in favor of naming this the Kingdom of Dragonfist?"
After some careful thinking, everyone raised their hand in approval. Thus, the kingdom was finally established. The Dragonfist would become the symbol on their flag, and the first village would be named the Village of Brutus. The bridge would be called The Dragonbridge.

They had finalized their decision with Meridia making a flag. It was a long triangular flag with a dragonfist on it, with black triangles coming off the fist like it was in motion. Even the animals were pleased by it.
Scald had spent the first half of the month working on the mines, having his summoned bi$ches secure the mine from collapsing. He used his limited knowledge to help Brutus start working toward making tools and ingots. After the meeting however, they decided that Scald could best use his talents in other more civilized areas. Valgrim enchanted a ring that could change Scald's appearance to that of a regular elf for 24 hours and gave it to him. After good-byes were said, Scald left the kingdom on a mission to use his skill in diplomacy and silver tongue to acquire information on the land around them, more seeds for the fields, and books on magic and construction. His departure left the mines in the care of Valgrim, who began to suffer mild insomnia from all the work he had to do.
Meridia continued to work on field. In the end, she was able to cultivate two large fields, one for the nuts and one for the berries. Even with the low variety of each, there would still enough for mile long fields. She was able to also raise some wild grape vines, which with luck would produce a good harvest for alcohol production in a few months. In addition, she was able to start plans for future buildings on the fields: storage, grainnery, tannery, etc. She also started making soft animal toys to sleep with because all the animals stayed far away from her.
Brutus was actually as busy as Valgrim. Not only was he in charge of the blacksmith shop, he still had to pull carts from the mines to the bridge. As they didn't think any of the animals could learn to forge, he had to do all of it himself. In the end, he almost used up all of his ale from drinking away the pain from his newly used muscles. He also helped Valgrim out with setting up some secret projects, mainly one in the lower right lake area, right below Brutus Village in another hill. He also had to teach some of the animals how to set up the bridge.
Dirrg and Girr continued their previous duties, regrowing trees for the wood group and helping germinate the plants in the fields. As this didn't take too long, they occupied themselves by traveling around and setting up ranger lookouts in the forests. Also feeling a bit evil, they recruited more animals to work with the group, leading to more headaches as they had to be taught skills and Valgrim had to use more magic. The four group members spent an entire half day chasing the two through the kingdom in rage. All the animals ran from the site of a terrified bear with an equally terrified dwarf on it's back running from 4 dark demon shadows. Screams of apologies filled the night.
So, the first month went a-okay for this new kingdom. No mass deaths, no plagues, no natural disaster, etc. Everyone was happy. Of course, just having good karma is impossible. Two things happened the beginning of the second month. One, a mine shaft collapsed. Two, one of the deer ladies came forward. She was not changing back.
