Seeing a doctor here on American Samoa is, at minimum, a half-day affair of waiting around in the heat for five minutes with an overworked nurse and maybe 10 with an equally overworked doctor. They try, but as I say below: don't let anyone try to sell you on socialized medicine.

Yesterday, when I ordinarily would have been writing today's chapter, was once again eaten up by traveling. I will try to post something later today, if I can get anything done while waiting at the clinic.
