Chapter 1

Currently while I am on my throne and all I could think of was how to end the war. The war was making me more and more angry due to the fact that because of it I lost my family, and plenty of people who

were innocent also lost theirs. It was while I was in deep thought that a group of warriors came into my domain. The group was comprised of 3 people, an elf, dwarf, and a wolfman.

They instantly went and tried to kill me, while being calm and dodging everything they had to offer, I simply made 3 balls of mana which would explode on contact, but not kill. As I threw the mana balls,

it did as what I intended it to do which was to simply knock them out. Once they were knocked out I quickly tied them up to the chairs inside my throne room. once they became concious I asked," who

they were and what do you want". They responded,"We are the champions of our race and wanted to end the war by killing the Demon King". I asked," what about the human races champion?" they responded that

the champion of the human race fled and was unable to find a new champion". In my mind I was thinking why did Alumina flee. Now that they failed in killing me I told them my story on how I became the

demon king and have no interest in domination or war and told them I would free them as long as they tell the leader of their races to end this war.

As I saw them leave I could see the disbelief on their faces that I was letting them go. As I resumed my thinking, the thought of Alumina fleeing from the human race kept interfering. So I made it as about

priority to find the reason that she would run away from being a champion of the human race.

<3 year later>

I finally found a clue about her disappearance. she was spotted near the location of the dungeon she and I first conquered together. The first dungeon she and I conquered together was a dungeon located

in forest heavily populated by A rank monsters. One I arrived at the location and spotted where the dungeon entrance use to be located, I saw a small wooden house protected by a small barrier made of

mana and around the barrier were dead bodies of the human race.

I easily bypassed the barrier and once I got in the house all I saw was a mana stone that had a note on it "To the demon who saved me and showed me the world isn't just black and white".

as I touched the stone a light was emitted from the stone, the mana stone was used as a voice recorder. once it started giving me the message in the voice of Alumina, I had a bad feeling.

The message said,"

If you get this message and that must mean you are the demon who saved me and showed me the joys of the world, I am sad to say this message will only be heard if I am dead, I have one wish from you

although you did so much for me, When you left in hurry, 2 weeks after I found out I was pregnant and while pregnant I knew it was yours. I was hesitant because I knew that if the baby took to your race

and had special features of a demon, it would be killed. So I ran away from my duties as a champion and my race. I still do not regret anything to this day. Once our baby daughter came into this world,

I was filled with such joy. She was the best thing that has ever happened to me besides spending the little amount of time with you, in all my life I was trained to become a champion for the human race

like a lot of people for the fame and money. My parents were not loving they were looking at me like I was their ticket to the good life and no matter how hard I kept telling myself they loved me I could

never believe it. It wasn't until I met you that there was more to life than training, violence, and war. Our daughter who is now 2 years old, is very talented in magic. She also inherited the red

lines that you have on your arms, as well as being able to use magic without chanting. Now since I am gone I have nowhere to leave our daughter at, because my family would throw her away her or lead her

to the same life as me, I can only hope you will get this message in time. Knowing I was wanted for fleeing as a champion, I made up a rumour telling people of my whereabouts, hoping that you are

looking for me.

*pause*

Our daughters name is Ruby.

As I noticed the message ending I could hear crying. I went to the room where the crying was heard from and I saw a sight that made me filled with depression. It was the sight of my daughter crying over

the body of Alumina's body. The first thing I did was used my magic to put my daughter Ruby to sleep. As she fell asleep. I went to Alumina and I noticed that she was killed noticing a fatal would

near the heart and lungs. Now noticing the situation, she had made the barrier after killing the soldiers from the human race and knowing she going to die from the wounds, she used the remaining mana

to make a barrier. I felt hatred for the human race, although I didn't want to start another war I simply controlled my anger and focused on my new daughter. Ruby as i held her close to my chest I

teleported back to the land of demons and headed straight to my castle and ordered my most trusted aid to hire maids for my new daughter.

So Now the story is going to go on about the childhood of the daughter, and eventually will go to the point of view from her.

I really couldn't come up of a good name of the demon lord because, I have the naming sense of Dr. Seuss.
