Chapter 7: - An Adventure with Friends Part I

When “Welcome Party “over, everything becomes same. Teacher’s started to teach students for their upcoming 2nd Term Exam. But Exam’s was coming after summer’s Vacation .That’s why student always don’t take interest in studies, when summer’s Vacation are coming. They usually spend their Vacation’s with their friends or family. Alice’s friends also deciding that where they go and, spent some day, explore together some unique places (Adventures) you can say. Alice came to the school and the Sun was really hot today but she was happy because it’s her last day in school .Summer Vacations will be start from Monday and today was Friday as they have Saturday and Sunday off. That’s was the reason why Alice was happy. But she doesn’t know that what adventure is coming in her life. She enters in the room and her friends were discussing something. Alice was curious what they are discussing. “What are you discussing?” Alice asked from her friends. “We were just deciding that where we go and spent ours Vacations.” Her friends said. “So, you can go to some beautiful places with you family “Alice said. “No, we are not going to spend our Vacation’s with our family” .Lia said. Alice don’t that this summer Vacations are for students to spent their time together and explore different things there self. “So, where are you going to spent your Vacations” Alice said.

“That’s the thing we are discussing, where we all have to go “Lia said. “WE? , but where we have to go?” Alice asked from Lia. “To spend our Vacations altogether” Lia said with excitement. Alice was watching Lia with shock. When Lia sees it then, she was also thinking why Alice was watching her like that .She thought something was on her face but then a thing come in her mind and she said “Don’t tell me , you don’t know about this” Lia said to Alice. “Of course, how could I know about this?” Alice replied. “On your old school, these like vacation was not” Lia said. “Yes, in my old school I had never likes this type of Vacation’s”.

“This type? Every year this type of Vacations comes. And in the city of Bradford, every school’s students go to spend their Vacation’s with Friends.” Lia said. ”Ok, forget about this, now you are the student of this school so we will spend our Vacations together.” Alice agreed and then together they started to decide the place where they go to enjoy their Vacation’s. ”How about haunted places?” Lia said. “You have a bad taste, Lia. Can’t you give some beautiful places suggestion? “Olivia said.

“Don’t say like that, I always have lucky hand to find a place to spend Vacation’s” Lia said proudly. “Do you forget? What happened last time?” Isabella said. “What happened? I don’t know” Lia said.

“Don’t act innocent, you know what happened. “Isabella was watching her like a police man watch a person when he said I don’t do anything. I am innocent. “What are you talking about? Tell us too” Amelia said. “Should I tell them? Lia “Isabella said while smiling like devil. “Isabella, you are my best friend .So, please don’t ruin my reputation in front of them “Lia said while making innocent face. “What reputation you are talking about? You don’t have any reputation in front of us. Isabella tells us what this lucky hand lady did last time” Olivia said. Everyone started laughing. “Well, what she did was really outstanding that we can’t stop ourselves from clapping for her “Isabella said while looking at Lia. Lia started her awkward laugh. Alice was also curios what Lia did last time. Isabella started telling them “When we decide our summer Vacation place to go .So, we let Lia to decide that because she knows more places in the Bradford. But it was our biggest mistake to let her decide the place, where we have to spend our holidays. She decided to go to the forest. It was near to our house and it was very dangerous to go there. But as you know her, she is really adventurous that she cans make ourselves sacrifice on there. Forget about it, when we decided to go there we packed our things that we need for our travel (Safety things). We decided to come at 6 am because it was very good time to go there. We were just three (Kate, Lia and I). Kate and I came to the time we decided to come, but Lia .She came at 7o’clock. And we two were afraid that something happened with us but thank god she came. We wait for an hour for her and she just said “Oh sorry, I came late because I was packing stuff in my bag. Now let’s go and start our adventure. We were just staring at her that how she can be so calmed, but we ignored this and starts our adventure. When we reach the Forest, it was really like in horror movies. Lia just think about herself because she likes horror places.

We were really afraid of this because on here wild animals can be and she still saying that “It’s ok, we will be okay”. After sometime we found a place .It was really beautiful and there was a cave too. So, we decided to stay in the cave and enjoy this beautiful view. But I think it was not in our fate. Soon, the rain started and we get wet before we go in cave. And in cave there were frogs, one frog come on the face of Kate. She started screaming and saying “Help me, get out of my face you dirty thing”. We helps Kate and Lia was laughing and saying that “Hahaha---- You afraid from frogs .You are not a little girl ,who will cry on here and say”Mommy,give me this candy “ .Kate was furious on her and I was too because it is not good time to make joke of someone. But Lia always want to find something funny everywhere. “Lia it’s bad to make joke of someone and on this time. Can’t you just help us to find the shelter before we become prey of wild animals? “Isabella said.

“Don’t worry about that, I know every corner of this forest. From this way we will go and we will able to find the shelter,” Lia said. She points to the dark area where wild animals can be, looking at her she was really confident that she will find the shelter. “I am having a bad feeling of this, Isabella “Kate said in her ears”. “I too, but what we can do we can’t leave from here now. Because we come really…..further”. Isabella said.” So, what happened? Do you stay there?” Alice asked. “No, we don’t stay there. What we did was wake up all time when sun rises. We came back and stop our adventure on there. That’s was the worst day of our summer vacations. “It was really bad, Lia” Olivia said. “Why you think that, I don’t know that this kind of problems we have to face” Lia said. “I think it will be good that this time we don’t let Lia choose the place. What you all say “Amelia said. “I am agreeing on it “Olivia and Isabella said. Lia was shocked to hear this and she was insisting that let her choose place this time too and she will choose a beautiful place. “No, Lia. We can’t let you choose this time, you always say that you will do best next time but this is not true. You always do the same thing. ”Ok, then do one thing” Lia said. “What thing? “Olivia asked. Lia open her notebook and torn one paper from her notebook and started write something on there.

“You don’t let me choose it then. How about a game from one person will decide the place”. ”Ok, you mean that we have to write our name on this page and put them into the jar, from one of us will take out one paper on which the person name will write .Right?

“Yes, Isabella. You are right.” One by One everyone writes their name and putted into the jar and start Rock, Paper and Scissor. Amelia win and she take out one paper and opened it. ”Who is? “Olivia asked. “It’s Alice. She will decide the place “Amelia said. Alice was shocked because she never knows about the Bradford city places. How she can decide. ”Ok, Alice you will decide the place and please choose best place. Better than Lia” Isabella said.

“No, I can’t because I don’t anything about Bradford, because I have never seen any places on here since I shifted on here “Alice said. “It’s okay, you can do it even if you don’t about it. Just do something new, okay”. Olivia said. “She is right, you have to do new things like adventure with us “Amelia said. “But I don’t think so I can do it because my parents never allow me to go with you “Alice said. It’s true that Alice’s parents never allow her to go somewhere because she is the only girl in her family. “Why, Alice. I don’t think so your parents will do like that. I have good feeling for this. You just have to ask for permission and they will give you. I believe in you “Lia said.

ission for this “Alice said. “Yes, as I said I have good feeling for this” Lia said. “Okay, I will do it .But the problem is that I don’t know about the places in Bradford”. “It’s okay just asked from your brothers, I hope they will help you “Olivia said.” Do you really think that they will tell me?” Alice said while making faces. “Brothers are also kind person. They will do it .They always don’t tease their sisters “Lia said. “I hope so too, Lia “Alice said. Then, she just said bye to her friends and come to home and takes some rest and started to think how she will get permission from her parents.

Alice was worried and she knows that her parents never allow her to go. But for her friend’s sake she decided to go to her parents and asked for permission. Alice come downstairs and knocked her parent’s room door. After the reply come, she enters in the room and told her parents about this. But Mrs. Woods don’t agree on this but Mr. Woods agree and he gives permission to Alice. Mrs. Woods was furious on her husband but Mr. Woods said “She needs to go out with her friends and explore things”, and she also gives Alice her permission to go.

Alice was happy and now she has to go to her brother’s room to seek help from them to decide the place. In the room, Robert was there not John. Because he always hangout with his friends in night. Alice just enters in the room without knocking the door. ”Don’t you have any manner, Alice “Robert said. “No, I don’t have any manners Grandpa” Alice said. “Grandpa, how dare you call me this?” Robert said. “Okay, forget about his and just help in this “Alice said. “In what?” Robert said. “I am going with my friends this Sunday. So, do you know any places on here that are really lovely and have nature side to “Alice said. “I think Shipley Glen will be best because it has nature view too “Robert said.”Ok, thank you and good night “Alice said. “What a selfish sister you are “Robert said. “Look who is talking, Grandpa “Alice said and comes to her room. In the morning, she told to her friends and they decided it to go Shipley Glen.
