Chapter no 5 :- :- Goodbyes and New Beginnings

In one month, Alice started to adjust on this new society and in her new school. Alice best friend was Olivia, Isabella and Lia. She was living really happy and free from her stress. She is now feeling that she can do everything on here and makes her dream comes true.

But unfortunately the teachers that teaches science subject now are going because of some issues. They don’t tell why but they just said “Our year is finished so we have to go now”. Well some day they have to go, teachers never stay with us every time .They has to go too.

After hearing this, Alice and her friends decided to give their teachers a heartwarming farewell. So, they come with this plan and decided to do on Friday. “But what food everyone will bring on

farewell?” Lia said. “I will make cupcakes, Alice said. “I will bring Macaroni” Isabella said too

“Sounds Great “Lia said. “And you too?” Lia said why pointing her fingers on Olivia and Kate. “I will bring something because I don’t know what to make but I will make it something “Olivia said. “I will bring some snacks because I can’t make “Kate said proudly. “Ok, we get it “Lia said while writing on the page of her copy. “And you, what you will make, Lia?” Alice said. “OH …..I …will … make….something. .ha-ha.”. “ I don’ think so, you will make something because on your face there is a lie write.” Kate said. “Why do you think so, I will make it or I can’t make it. So, I will just but some snacks from canteen.” Lia said. Kate started laughing on her. Lia said “Why are you laughing? You also can’t make something. You are also bringing snacks too.”

“No, I am just laughing on your idea, you always say that you will make something but, always you bring snacks or just something made by your mother”. Kate said while laughing. “So, you have a problem from that. If I make or not make, it’s my choice and about my mother I just asked her to make it so she just make it, you shouldn’t have problem from it.”

“Ok, don’t be angry, words just slips from my mouth.” Kate said. “It’s okay, but don’t bring something about mothers ...Ok.” Lia said. “She is saying right, you shouldn’t talk about mothers like that” Olivia said. “What’s wrong with you, why you always interrupt our discussion” Kate said while making her eyes staring at Olivia. “OH, there she goes new again” Alice said in her mind. “I was just saying not interrupting your conversation” Olivia said. But she doesn’t say anything after that because she doesn’t want to fight with Kate. Kate also stops her fight with Olivia. The environment in the class was a little bit uncomfortable so Alice said “Ok, we decide that we will bring this things but what we will give to teachers?”

“Oh, I forgot to “Lia said. Preparing a gift for teacher is good idea .You also gave it to your teacher’s .Right… Now, everyone in the class was busy with their mind that what we should give to other teachers? Alice now makes the environment busier because she doesn’t want any uncomfortable moments in the class. “I think making cards will be a good idea” Isabella said. “OH, it’s great to make cards for teachers? Lia said.

“Ok, we will give cards to our favorite’s teacher.” Olivia said. “I think it’s great because making so many cards will make our time waste.” Kate said. Everyone agree on this idea and they just discuss every time about the party for the teacher’s. In Thursday, when Alice came back from school. She then rest for a while and then wake up and started making cupcakes. Everyone was sitting in the drawing room. (Not her friends just her family) .Robert came to the kitchen when Alice was baking cupcakes. “What are you making at this hour?” Robert asked. “Are you blind, Can’t you see what I am making?” Alice said while being angry on Robert because he always makes her fun and john too. And they don’t help her too in her studies. But making someone’s jokes is not good.

Alice really got upset when someone makes her fun and not others her brothers.

So talk with me with respect.” Robert said. “Why, I talk with you respect .OH, Robert “Are you become old man now?” Alice said while slightly laughing. “You are talking now like that after getting admission in new school” Robert said. “Whatever you say, I don’t want to listen it, and now go and sit with john .I am doing my work. So, don’t disturb me .OK. Alice said. “Huh, I don’t like to talk with you too” Robert said.

Alice don’t like her brothers, they can’t understand her .They also don’t know what she wants from them. She only hopes from them that they treat her like a sister not someone. Then, Robert goes to the drawing room and sits there and talks with his father. After some minutes, Alice was free from her baking. And she tastes her chocolate cupcakes and said “OH My God, I made good .Thank you God. I hope everyone likes it.” Then, she put cupcakes in box and stored them in refrigerator.

“I hope, we can give a heartwarming farewell to them and this farewell will be most emotional to me. Alice said while being upset. I know every student become upset when their favorite’s teacher leave the school and don’t come back. This case was also with Alice.

Next day, Alice prepared the cards for teacher and takes out the cupcakes from fridge and went to the school. After taking lectures and when break starts, they started to decorate the board with some paper .On the paper, it was written “Heartwarming Farewell to Our Beautiful Teachers”.

The teachers who was leaving the school was Miss Agatha , Miss Arianna , Miss Flora and two more teachers but they were not the teachers of their subject. But giving respect to the teachers who are leaving have to be fulfilled. Even they are not your class teacher, but they are the teachers who teach in this school. “Ok, now took out the things that we prepare for this farewell party?” Lia said.

“We did it, before you say that “Kate said. Kate and Lia was wearing their house clothes not uniform because they decided to wear it that. When everyone was busy in their work, Kate come to the Alice and said “I have something to tell you, Alice “. “What, you have to tell me?” Alice asked.

I appreciate your skills.” Miss Arianna said. “Thank you teacher “they said. “Please teacher try that, we made it and these are the cards for you “Lia said.”Aww, Thank you for giving us heartwarming farewell” Miss Flora said. “No need teacher, it’s our duty to give you a farewell for leaving this school” Isabella said. “Thank you students, May God bless you “Miss Agatha said.

After hearing this words from Miss Agatha Alice and her friends was shocked but they said “It’s our pleasure”. Then they started to eat the food that Alice and her friends made. “It’s delicious” Miss Arianna said. ”Yeah, I agree too “Miss Flora said. “Thank you teacher, we are really happy that you like the food that we made “Lia said.

“But you don’t made anything, Lia “. Olivia said while whispering in the ears of Lia. ”Ha-ha, your jokes …Olivia...They are really funny “Lia said while making fake smile. “What jokes?” Miss Agatha said. “NO .Thing. Nothing Teacher “Lia said covering her embarrassment. Then, they started to laugh at Lia. “Don’t laugh, and don’t tell the teacher that I don’t made anything “Lia said while making her eyes innocent in front of Olivia. “Ok, I will not “Olivia replied. “Promise” Lia said.

“Promise, I will not tell anyone “Olivia said. They started to eat the things that they made for teachers with them. “Who made this cupcakes “Miss Arianna said. “I did, Ma’am” Alice said. “Your cooking skills are really good, Alice” Miss Arianna said. Alice was really happy because it’s her first time to hear the compliment from others. “Thank you, teacher “Alice said.

After a while, they finished their party and give the cards that they made for teachers. “Thank you for your cards, we really appreciate these cards” Miss Flora said. “It’s our pleasure” Students said.

“We will really miss you, Teachers “Students said. “We will also” Miss Agatha said. Every student was really happy because Miss Agatha is going to leave the school. But it is not good to wish that” this “teachers leave that school, because you adjust on this and you don’t wish after that teacher leaves you. It doesn’t goes with Kate but with everyone it’s was sad that their favorite teachers are leaving.

Teacher then leave their classroom and goes to another classroom because the other students also hold the farewell party for them. “Thank God, Miss Agatha is going to leave the school” Kate said with a smile on her face. ”You shouldn’t say that about the teachers” Lia said.

“Ok, I will not” Kate said.

“But why you hate Miss Agatha so much “Alice said. “Because she is very strict and don’t give us a friendly treatment” Kate said. “Like you give them” Olivia said. “Why they fight always? “Alice said.

“I think they were enemy in their past life” Isabella said. Everyone started laughing because they think also like that. “I think also that you two were enemy in your past life” Lia said. “I don’t think that “Kate said. “I also” Olivia said.

There fight stopped and Kate announced that she is going to leave the school because she is shifting to other country with her family. Everyone was sad except Alice because she knew already that Kate is leaving the school. They made the farewell of teachers really best. Alice then returned to her home .Fresh herself and then goes downstairs and started to eat the food because she was tired.

In night, she baked the cupcake and her body goes tired. When she was eating the food, Mrs. Woods sit beside the Alice and said “How was your teacher’s farewell?” “It was nice “Alice said. “That’s good to hear because your friends really hard work” Mrs. Woods said. Alice don’t talk with her mother so much because when she talk, she always put the discussions of her education. Alice was really tensed from that because her mother always compared her with other kids.

Alice was not alone; everyone has a hard with it when they were teenagers. Comparing with other children’s, don’t support the dreams they want to become in Future. But Alice always ignore that, because she thinks that she have just a one life .So, she will enjoy it without any regrets and don’t make herself further stressful. Like Helen Keller said about the Life: -

"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. To keep our faces toward change and behave like free spirits in the presence of fate is strength undefeatable."

So, she decided to live according to this quote of Helen Keller. After some months, they had their “First Term Exam” in school. Kate shifted to other country and the teacher also leaves the school. Now, they have their last exam and one student said to them that” You have a new classmate “They were thrilled and Alice was saying in her heart that “Please God, she don’t look like a bad girl”.

When they enter in their classroom, a girl was sitting on their while shaking her legs. Alice moves towards her and said “Hi , I am Alice and nice to meet you “.The girl was looking at Alice and said “Hello, I am Amelia and I am glad to meet you” and she said further that “Do you drink water or do something on your face or you have natural colour “.”Huh...What…” Alice said while she was shocked on her weird question. But she said “No, I don’t drink water or do something on my face”.

“Oh, I see. I was just curious because you have a bright face “Amelia said. “Anyway, how much syllabus you covered in your “First Term”? She asked. “We did little because our teacher was gone and we did just what our teacher taught us before they were leaving” Alice replied. “Yes, I can see that from the school building “Amelia said.

Alice was now tensed because she thinks that Amelia totally looks like Kate but it was not. The first impression of new students you don’t like and you thought that they look like to someone you know who was not good with you. But Alice believed that Amelia will be a good girl and she can become her Best Friend like others.
