The Knight

"Aah!" screamed the boy.

His hands shielded himself from the uncanniness before him.

"Sir, there are legs instead of your head!" exclaimed the perplexed boy.

"Oi! My head's 'round here," sounded a voice from near the side of the horse. The boy examined the horse from the head downwards to find an inverted knight's head resting on the huge metal stirrup.

The boy gawked.

"Move aside, young drupe. A knight's journey awaits.", he proceeded with his horse, passing the duo, journeying onwards his path. The boy followed him, partly because of curious fascination but also for the weirdness.

Joodle, walking on his hind, patted his master. The boy turned down to look at his companion. Joodle opened his snout wide. Then, using his two forepaws closed them.

"Ah, Yes…", the boy shut his mouth, "Sir Knight?", he asked.

"Yes?" responded the knight without turning his head, which probably wasn't possible in his position.

"Uh… Ah, what is your name, hon'ble sir?" The boy distracted at the sight of the knight operating his horse-ride, with his legs pulling the reins.

"Sir Sergio Felics, the slayer..."

"of what?", further queried the boy.

"of foolishness!" he replied. The boy couldn't view the knight's face, but he knew from the tone that he took pride in his name.

The boy decided not to query anymore and thus, begins the tale…

Oh, wait! The boy hasn't stopped…

* Ahem *

"Sir Felics-"

"Sergio would do."

"Sir Sergio, where might you be heading?" he inquires, which Sir Sergio answers as…

"The nearest town. Wherein there, you ask? Of course, the Tavern."
