The moment Gate summoned the spell known as devour, a swirling vortex of a black and amber hues opened up from my palm and crawled its way to the body of the Scholar laying before me. It only took a few moments for the vortex to completely consume the Scholars very being and left nothing behind.
I watched as the Scholar was reduced to nothing and a strange sensation began to fill my entire being as it resonated with the Spell I cast.

As soon as the notification rang within my mind a flash of information flooded every corner of it which did cause me to slightly flinch from what my Esoteric Restrictions were presenting me or rather what devour took from the Scholar.
I had stolen a long list of his abilities, which allowed me to recreate and wield them to a degree as long as My Esoteric Restrictions created a full understanding and Analysis of it. Although that still was strictly abilities under the Soul Integration stage of cultivation.
I was quite amused by the sudden shift of abilities I was now capable of due to devour and yet despite my victory and gains it didn't change what had just been witnessed.
The reality beyond my palm was an intricate metal sphere, an artifact of sorts that replaced where the Scholar once was. The moment I laid my hand upon it I could feel the faint presence of the revolting Mana Essence the Scholar carried.
I didn't need the Esoteric Restrictions to tell me what I had in my grasp even if I thought they were going to. I knew this was a progenitor’s core and from what I could tell it was still active, albeit weak.
"Well... this is interesting..." I remarked to myself as I gave some thought to what to do with it, Afterall I didn't have a reason to keep a useless object devour left behind and I could barely stand the aura it exuded.

"… Ah, I see." I remarked as the Esoteric Restrictions suggested that I store the core away for the time being and furthermore I would be using one of my newly acquired skills to do so. "Hidden inventory huh..." I muttered to myself as I stretched out my arm to store the core inside a dimension that was presented to me. It took a second for the Core to be completely enveloped by a dark shadow before it vanished from sight.
All that was left were the handful of clans that huddled together near my party, all of them looked ready to collapse at any second from the state they were in. As for Astrid she was still unconscious and no longer embedded into the wall I sent her into, but I had to assume she was no longer under the influence of the Scholars control.
Regardless I began to approach them with each step heavier than the last and a presence that still suffocated them and caused them to cower nervously below my gaze.
I had to admit from the look on most of their faces they were terrified of me. The one who didn't bear that expression was Lilith who practically lowered her head to the ground with reddened cheeks and heavy breaths while muttering incoherently to herself.
My amber gaze scanned over them as I began to consider how to deal with the problems ahead of me. Afterall my real troubles were just beginning. "Hey, Esoteric Restrictions... As much as I enjoy having my Aura around me like this. It will only cause us some issues," I remarked to myself while waiting for a response from my Esoteric Restrictions.

The solution I got was temporary at best and truthfully, I didn't mind all too much, I would still be capable of everything I possessed now it was just a means to continue what my initial goal was with little difficulty. However, with that in mind I still had every intent to begin finding more about myself and breaking through the Fifth Stage of Cultivation.
It took a few steps for my Aura to begin to subside to a Bearable level just before I reached the remaining clan members and my Party. All while I gave my next course of action some thought. Yet the thought that sat at the front of my mind was the Party I had been with for some time now, the idea of bonds was of course something I still wanted, but with my evolution I was reminded I could make them stronger, I found myself wanting more.
The answer was there right in my face waiting for me to take it.
"... If I remember correctly, You Clans only came on this expedition to report everything about me to your Monarchs," I remarked with my amber gaze upon Clan Aerith's Lyra and Clan Kemonozu's Eto who were lucky enough to survive the Scholars initial attack earlier. "Well, I have something you can report to your Monarchs now."
The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
My flat gaze didn't change as I watched the remainder of them gulp with sweat rolling down their brows. "... Tell them, that I've made my mind up. I will be creating a Clan of my own within the guild, your Monarchs and Apostles are free to try and stop me." I stated coldly as I felt a bit of excitement well up in my chest from the plan I was formulating or rather planned to steal from the guild itself.
Of course, Reiner and Xander both shot their attention to me with some shock while Lilith continued her questionable joy admiring me.
Although despite everything the Expedition was over and truthfully, I wanted nothing to do with any of it anymore. It took a few moments of silence to pass before I felt yet another notable source of Mana Essence approaching rapidly. I wasn't surprised about it either rather it was expected.
Regardless, this source of mana essence arrived at our location with a gust of wind. However, this wasn't just any gust of wind that brushed across the floor of the labyrinth. It was a group that teleported to our location with haste.
My amber gaze already knew that they were Members of Graced Clans considering a survivor did make it back to the surface to no doubt report what had happened, if not that then it was possible a Monarch may have felt my presence.
Still, the Clan that appeared with a wave of air all had white hair and to no surprise they surrounded me while one individual with the same white hair in a short unkempt manner took the attention of all, but his endless blue eyes chose to meet my amber glare. "Yo, I didn't expect to actually see your kind in my lifetime. Though you seem to have caused quite a lot of trouble already. By the order's Of Graced Clan Mugen, you are being placed under arrest until all reports are made and your involvement on what happened down here can be determined," He stated happily and unaffected by the aura that remained around me, which was a good thing to know it was bearable now, but it did seem like he expected more from me.
"... I see, I do suppose we are quite done here." I remarked allowing whatever needed to happen to be done. Although that left a few to jump up in my defence and quickly yell out in protest.
"Oi... What? Are you kidding. Kazu didn't do anything wrong! This guy nearly died saving us all." Reiner growled quickly as he managed to get to his feet in an attempt to help me out.
However, the moment he began to yell, a burst of Magical Energy surged out from the member of Graced clan Mugen and silenced him. "You are free to think what you want, but I've been entrusted with these orders and will see them carried out. You are more than welcome to join him if you want. However, that will mean you won't be giving a report to your appointed Monarch. Regardless of what you do, the Order's of Graced Clan Mugen will not be disobeyed." the member of Clan Mugen stated.
"... Reiner, it will be fine... This was always going to happen eventually. This is a minor inconvenience, it is better this way." I said trying to reassure him and perhaps my other members in some way.
Reiner grumbled under his breath but ultimately agreed with me with some reluctance.
"… A minor inconvenience hey? Well. at least you have some common sense for not resisting." The white haired member of Clan Mugen commented before he turned his attention back to the Clans, who seemed relax with the arrival of Clan Mugen. "Now then, I will be escorting everyone to Vectus where you will receive medical attention at the expense of the guild for this incident. Afterwards you will return to your Domain and give your Report of what happened down here to your Apostle." The member of Clan Mugen explained as Clan Kemonozu and Aerith acknowledged his orders like they had no choice in the matter.
I didn't know too much about Clans or their Monarchs but as I understood, Graced Clan Mugen were considered the strongest of the Graced clans and that was all I knew. Still, the presence the individual hovering around me was notable enough to say the least.
"As for me and you, The Monarch of Vectus has made arrangements that you will be put under custody within his Domain until all reports can be given. Right now, only a S-ranked member of Clan Naria gave a report covered in blood, he said this was all a Xiao's fault. I was told he was barely able to make it out alive, so at that moment you were deemed a threat to be investigated and yet when we arrive someone yells you saved everyone but upon first glance you appear to be unscathed while everyone else isn’t... I'm curious what did you do down here," The member of Clan Mugen remarked with an amused interest that only seemed to grow.
"Why bother asking when your Monarchs are only taking reports from them. There is no need to waste my breath." I remarked which caused the man to snicker a little.
"You got me there. I thought I would let you know why you were being detained… that's all." He said before he raised his arm up. "We're Ready. Return." He spoke causing the air around us to shift and form a massive ethereal circle of Magical energy that surrounded the area before a blast of light enveloped the entirety of the labyrinth and us.
The moment of Teleportation flashed across my mind as I watched everything before me blur into a rush of colors and light before it finally faded.
When the light dissipated, we were no longer within the depths of the Labyrinth. Instead, we were standing in Vectus on the Guild Grounds, surrounded by numerous people who Immediately began to tend to the Clan Members and my party with potions and other artifacts capable of healing their wounds.
"This isn't our stop, keep moving." The member of Clan Mugen escorting me said with a smile.
Still, I did comply but that caused Lilith to attempt to follow. "Where are you going Kazu," she asked urgently as she tried to get close but was blocked by the members of Clan Mugen who were present.
"I'll be fine, wait here with Reiner for a bit alright," I said before continuing my way regardless of what she felt about it.
I was escorted into the entrance of the guildhall, which was completely empty and quiet. A sight not often seen. After a few steps into the guildhall a voice rang out, the same one I was waiting for since I stepped out of the Teleportation circle.
"Clan Mugen’s, Ezra. I appreciate your Apostle for sending one of their SS-Ranked members to safely recover everyone from the Labyrinth, Including the Guilds Benefactors and I see you've escorted Kazu here, a benefactor of mine in question, thank you... Now, if you will kindly take your leave. My staff have undoubtedly finished healing those who were injured and you need to return the remaining Clans to their Domain." Antoris's voice stated with a recognizable annoyance that seemed to seep into every word spoken.
I felt some humor scratch my throat as my gaze reached Antoris, who was standing tall on the top of the grand stairs the Guildhall had while his powerful presence and authority washed over the entire Guildhall.
