Right... Not so good news, folks.

Due to a hardware malfunction on my PC, I cannot start it, and as a result, I cannot continue writing/updating the story. Normally, I would switch to my old laptop (the good workhorse); however, because of said hardware failure, something went wrong with the cloud sync of my fails, and I'm left with a bunch of corrupted drafts that can't be opened.

This means that until I get my PC fixed, there will be no updates. Also, no. Removing the SSD to transfer the files isn't an option for reasons I don't want to get into right now.

If all goes well, the first update of the story will be in 2 weeks. However, a more realistic timeframe to get it fixed is 5-8 weeks (that means the earliest update will be around August 30th or September 22nd at the latest). In the absolute worst case, I'll have to scrap the chapters I have so far and write them from scratch. As you can imagine, this isn't something I'm looking forward to because that means I've lost 150 hours of writing.

I'm really sorry for this and hope that I'll see you again soon. In the meantime, while I wait to see which option I'll have to take, I'll either take a break from writing or work on a new side project (because I can't access the files for either Unit 0 or Soul Harvest) to keep myself occupied.
