What made her confused however, was that the moment they arrived, they didn't go join the people patiently waiting on the ground.

In only a few moments, a striking light flew out from the inside of the Rising Sun Sect, appearing before Qin Mei and Elder Lin, revealing the appearance of an old man with white hair, wearing a black robe inscribed with numerous golden suns!

The old man slightly narrowed his eyes as he studied the token for a while, before looking back up at Elder Lin. "Where did you get the token in your hands from from?"

"From Qin Zhou, I want to let the kid beside me join as a disciple!", Elder Lin answered him, montioning towards Qin Mei

Only then did the old man look at Qin Mei, his eyes shining as he used his spiritual sense to examin her cultivation realm, "Desolate Palace realm? Excellent! She's suitable to go in."

Not waiting for Elder Lin to respond further, he grabbed Qin Mei and quickly returned back within the sect

Elder Lin could only wave goodbye as she watched her go, smiling as she turned around, preparing to go back to the Great Qin Dynasty.

She looked at the old man who had taken her here, and felt slightly wary.

An unfamilliar person suddenly grabbed here taking her away, ofcourse she'd be wary!

"No need to feel wary, I am Zhao Feng, an outer elder of the rising sun sect, I mean you no harm.", noticing her wariness, the old man spoke with the intention to ease it

"You're going to be sent to the outer sect, but I've noticed your talent and had thoughts about recommendinf you to my master, but unfortunately, you aren't yet powerful enough to become his disciple", Zhao feng felt a bit of a pity.

It wasn't that he didn't want to, but the Rising Sun Sect placed great importance on fairness, and he couldn't break the rules lest he potentially loses his elder status.

"My master? He goes by the surname Jiang!", Zhao Feng decided he had spent enough time with Qin Mei, he vanished without a trace.
