The Paladin started life in a humble way.

Squire in the righteous crusader armies, little more than a pawn on the stage of life.

The war was won before he ever had to fight, the city taken forcefully for what could surely only be noble goals.

The army soon left, but the young squire remained.

A great many chose to cross the harsh desert to reach the saved city and rejoice in its holy splendour.

Raiders would not allow for this to go unchecked. Many innocents were laid bare.

The Paladin went forth, his goal a simple one: to help those in need cross the desert.

That was how it began.
