Magical energy is one of the most mystical energies in the universe. It makes up a significant portion of matter in the universe. In galaxies, it is distributed extremely unevenly. Magical energy "likes" to concentrate around certain types of stars and certain types of planets. On the planets, it is distributed much more evenly with a small number of places of energy concentration.
In total there are eleven types (elements) of magical energy: fire, water, air, earth, metal, lightning, light, shadow, nature (wood), life, and death. All elements form five groups of opposite elements. For example, the element of fire is in opposition to the element of water. The remaining four pairs are air - earth, metal - lightning, light - shadow, and life - death. The element of nature stands out separately. Theoretically, the opposite element of nature should be the element of emptiness (Void). But so far no practical confirmation of this has been found, just as the very element of emptiness (Void) has not been found.
The magical energy itself is divided into internal, external, and borrowed.
Internal magical energy is in every living being. The source of this energy is the body of a living being. The body is capable of both producing magical energy and absorbing it from the environment. The circulatory system is an important element in the transfer and distribution of internal magical energy, just as the nervous system is an important element in the management of internal magical energy. Internal magical energy accumulates throughout the body, but the highest concentration is observed in the blood.
Each living body from the point of view of magic can be described by the following parameters: magic rank, list of magic elements available to the body, the amount of energy of each element, the amount of energy leakage of the element, the energy transfer rate of the element, the speed and accuracy of control.
The magic rank is intended to classify by power every living creature capable of magic. Magic rank starts at zero. Zero rank means no ability to magic. Usually refers to children up to a certain age. Magical rank increases as one ages, reaching its natural maximum by adulthood. Further growth is possible with the help of various training and techniques. The maximum rank attained by a mortal being is 12.
The list of magical elements available to the body speaks for itself. Not all creatures can possess all eleven elements of magical energy, especially equally. Equally rare is the possession of just a few or even one element.

The amount of energy of each element is a physical measure and determines the amount of internal energy that can be spent. When trying to spend all the energy without a trace, a living being will first feel discomfort, then fatigue, and finally loss of consciousness or coma.
Leakage of magic energy means how much the body dissipates the internal magic energy and the higher the value, the faster the energy dissipates. Usually, the maximum rank achieved is limited precisely by the leakage of magical energy, when a balance is reached between the production and dissipation of energy. In fact, this parameter is the development potential of the body and can also be improved using various techniques.
The elemental energy transfer rate indicates how quickly internal magical energy is released in the form of spells, and the higher the value, the better. As it increases, more and more powerful and complex spells become available.
The speed and accuracy of control indicate the quality and accuracy of control of magical energy, and the higher the value, the better. The more accurately and quickly the spell is performed, the fewer losses in it and the higher the stability. This characteristic is critical for complex spells and spells that require increased spatial accuracy.
Internal magical energy also includes magical artifacts and batteries.
External magical energy is the magical energy of the surrounding world, the magical background. With proper techniques and acquired skills, any living being can learn to collect and use external magical energy, passing through his body or directly. All magical engineering, magical rituals, the use of pentagrams, and other magical constructions also belong here.
Borrowed magical energy is usually associated with higher beings, immortals who, by virtue of their abilities, can endow their followers with some form of magical energy. Moreover, this mechanism works in both directions. A great example is faith magic where a group of beings worship (believe) a particular deity. This deity receives some of the faith of his followers in the form of magical energy and gains incredible power. And with such power, it can endow its chosen followers with great borrowed power. However, it must be pointed out that borrowed magical energy closely borders on spiritual bonds and is considered by some to be inseparable.
It must be borne in mind that even divine power cannot radically change physical laws. Two simple examples. First, magic cannot resurrect a living being. Magic can only heal or restore the body, but cannot create or restore the soul. This area is not subject to magic. Another example is that with the help of magic, it is impossible to turn back time. The flow of time can only be either accelerated or slowed down, but even then only within insignificant limits and for small objects.
