Chapter 13: The words of the strong must be spoken carefully

Chapter 13: The words of the strong must be spoken carefully

After attempting to meet the eyes of the surrounding cultivators, trying to discover if any of them had immense balls or a certain craziness to them, I breathed a sigh of relief after I discovered no one who fit that criteria.

I was thrilled. So very immensely thrilled.

I wouldn't even have to make Sasha fight, I could just send these guys off and they'd immediately leave and thank me while doing so.

I could even act cocky and make them beg for forgiveness, but that would probably create a true sense of enmity between us.

Because currently, we had very little enmity between me, a random cultivator, and them, an actual sect.

It was just a minor grievance regarding a little kid and an overly prideful teen.

I looked up into the sky and smiled broadly, in happiness. I then realised that I had smiled openly and now the members of the Tzun Rei sect all looked even more scared when compared to before.

I think they misinterpreted my smile.

Nonetheless, I carried on with a passive look as I thought of what to say to them.

I had to act cocky, but also humble at the same time. I had to make them respect me, both via fear and pure reverence.

Otherwise, they would harbour anger and hatch some plan to harm either me or Sasha.

But how was I supposed to think of such words on short notice? I was never a good debater, I couldn't even win online arguments back on Earth.

I couldn't ignore them for too long either. At most, another minute or two.

But no words truly came to mind.

No matter how much I wracked my mind.

It was at that moment I felt a wave of pure mana unleash itself from within my shack behind me.

The mana burst forth like a little dam, swamping the entire area.

The mana felt so pure and beautiful, and it was beneficial to me.

I was devouring the mana, but I wasn't really good nor fast enough to absorb much of it.

After merely a few seconds, the mana was gone.

Sasha had either broken through to the Mage rank, mastered the 'Art of Majesty' or broken some other ridiculous record.

Right now I wasn't sure what she had managed to do.

Whatever it was, it had given me the idea I needed to calmly defuse the situation I was in.

I was going to continue with my plan from beforehand.

Make Sasha duel the other disciples with the condition that 'If my disciple loses, I shall apologise, and if your disciple loses, you shall apologise'.

With terms like that, who wouldn't agree.

Ah, my genius talent at bullshitting was staggering, but that wasn't really something I should be proud of.

Taking a look at the Tzun Rei Sect members, I saw all of them were pale beyond relief.

It seems mana felt very different to aura and they didn't know what had happened exactly.

Turning around, I saw Sasha slowly walk outside, completely clean, but her clothes were fully gone and she had the bed sheet wrapped around her.

Her cheeks were red from both anger and shyness.

I smiled at her and she slowly walked up to me, a look of anger in her eyes.

I of course dismissed her anger to me.

It was her own fault that I made her cultivate hard enough that she destroyed her clothes.

Now that I was looking at it, the bed sheet wrapped around her was much smaller than I remember.

Did she explode inside the shack?

Oh god... This girl destroyed the interior of my little shack...

How much trouble did she want to cause her master in one single day?!

As I was about to ask her what exactly happened, suddenly my little shacks walls fell off.

First the east wall came falling down, then the southern wall came shortly after. Right after that was the eastern wall and then finally the northern wall.

The roof fell towards the north with the northern wall, revealing to both me, Sasha and the Tzun Rei Sect members the completely annihilated interior of my now non-existent shack.

There was a little crater inside my house.

This little shit destroyed my house.

Seeing my expression change after I had turned to look towards the shack, she began to fidget quietly as she stood in front of me.

Sasha: She suddenly spoke while speaking as softly as possible “Before you get angry at me” her little whisper came out “Can I please get some new clothes from your ring?” she whispered to me very quietly.

This shameless little brat.

Not only did she destroy my only house in this world, she had the gall to ask for clothing instead of apologising?!

No. Fuck that. She would pay for this.

By learning humility.

Well she was humble enough as it was, but I needed to vent my anger over losing this little shack I had grown attached to.

How could I not be angry over losing my god damned house.

I was beyond furious.

Coupled with the trouble she had caused in regards to the Tzun Rei Sect, I was boiling on the inside.

Sasha began to tremble as she saw my expression change multiple times in the span of a few seconds.

Sasha: “Master” she spoke softly “I know what I did was wrong” she began but after I glared at her, she suddenly bit her lip and stopped talking but suddenly her eyes lit up as she glared at someone behind me and pointed at that someone yelling “But it's his fault that I had to cultivate because he said he was going to bring his master, so my training and destroying the house is his and his sects fault” she hatefully yelled at the young master of the Tzun Rei Sect.

I turned around and stared at the brat from from the Tzun Rei Sect only to see him tremble immensely, a look of pure fear in his eyes as he saw my angry glare.

Rei Feng: “Me?!” he yelled back as he stuttered “It's all Guo Goans fault that we got entangled with her in the first place!” he yelled while pointing to a different sect member “He was the one who wanted to hit on her in the first place, saying 'I, the son of a Clan Elder, can have any girl I want!'” the brat shamelessly pushed the blame onto someone else.

I turned towards the teen he was pointing at, a blonde haired, slightly better looking kid compared to the young master.

Goan Gou: “My fault?!” he yelled in shock at the revelation “Impossible, simply impossible” the boy yelled with pure fear “I was simply following young master Rei Fengs orders to probe out the girls cultivation level to see if she was someone we were capable of enjoying” he pointed back and hatefully accused the young master called Rei Feng.

Rei Feng looked completely flabbergasted as he was blamed before he hatefully glared back at Goan Gou.

Rei Feng: “My fault?” he seethed through his teeth “You traitor to the sect, you brought this calamity upon our Tzun Rei Sect, and instead of apologising to this supreme elder” Rei Feng pointed at me “You instead try to shift the blame to me?!” Rei Fengs acting skills were simply marvellous “In order to both apologise to this supreme elder and clean our sect of your disgrace, I shall personally end you myself!” Rei Fengs said as he released his aura and prepared to attack.

Wow... Simply one word. Wow.

That is all I could use to describe the situation.

In all of its hilarity, the situation had simply solved itself by Sasha merely blaming her overload in cultivation upon Rei Feng.

What a spineless kid. He not only pushed the blame onto someone else, he even openly declared one of his own followers as a traitor to his clan and attempted to end him himself.

As I was wondering what was going to happen I suddenly heard one of the elders of the sect shout.

Goan Tou: “Young Master” the old men yelled angrily “How dare you try to push your own mishaps upon your fellow sect members and even try to kill my own son!” the old man hatefully said “How about you own up to your mistakes and beg the supreme elder and the young lady for forgiveness instead of attempting to damn our sect!” just as the man who I thought was the Sect Leader began to speak, this old man silenced him and continued to speak “In fact, just cripple your cultivation and kill yourself right now so we may erase the sins you have brought upon our sect, in fact, give me the honour of allowing you to die” and with that this elder moved to end the life of the young master just like that.

Oh my god.

What had I done.

What had Sasha done.

She had literally just caused a civil war within a sect.

Oh my fucking god.

This was insane.

Is this what power meant in this world?! People would kill and betray people very close to them simply because they may or may not have offended a more powerful individual?

The Elder simply disappeared before reappearing right in front of the young master, with his fist about to connect with Rei Fengs face but suddenly Rei Lings fist deflected the elders.

Rei Ling: “Goan Tou!” the Sect leader yelled “You dare betray our sect with such selfish motivations?” his voice roared across the landscape, stretching who knows how far “If I don't end you myself today, I am not the Sect leader of our great sect” and with that he suddenly reappeared right behind Goan Tou with his fist headed right for his chest.

Goan Tou immediately disappeared and appeared a short distance away.

Suddenly the Rei Ling also disappeared and instead of reappearing, Goan Tou disappeared again.

Goan Tou and Rei Ling were fighting so fast I couldn't even see it with my own eye.

Oh my god, what the fuck was happening.

I kept seeing and feeling this miniature shock waves happening left, right, top, bottom and centre within my field of vision.

They were fighting at super sonic, or light speeds. I don't know god damn it.

This little girls mere words had started all of this.

A little girls words had led to combat between two people who would have been legendary monsters back on Earth.

I'd been watching and feeling these two monster cause miniature shock waves for at least four or five minutes now.

I didn't even know what level they were both at.

Where they above or below Sasha's parents? I had no clue. Sasha's parents didn't fight with Ugan long enough for me to determine that.

But these two did fight long enough to fuck with my knowledge of power levels.

I turned towards Sasha and looked as her eyes, which seemed to be following the shock waves.

I'm not sure how much she could see, but she definitely could see somewhat.

She could at least somewhat follow two monsters moving at ridiculous speeds.

Turning back around, I looked at the Tzun Rei Sect's members.

The Tzun Rei Sect had also split into sides, and whichever side won, was definitely going to purge the other side.

Now I knew the words 'A beauty was capable of causing wars' was quite true.

Suddenly both Goan Tou and Rei Ling both reppeared in my vision, but how they had reappeared was horrifying.

Rei Ling's bloody fist was coming right out of Goan Tou's chest cavity causing an disgustingly horrific scene.

Rei Ling's hand was holding Goan Tou's heart.

Oh my fucking god!

What the fuck!

As if that wasn't bad enough, Goan Tou's right hand was all but fully destroyed, leaving a bloody little pulp near his elbow.

I felt like vomiting then and there, but the thought that if I broke my cover, I could end up like Goan Tou made me forcefully recollect myself.

Rei Ling had literally just killed an elder of his sect, who about to kill his son, the young master because his son, the young master was going to kill his own underling, who was the son the sect elder.

What was this game of thrones bullshit?!

What have you done Sasha?!

I turned to look towards Sasha who was equally as horrified as I was at what was happening.

I heard her mumble quietly 'I didn't want this to happen' in a sad manner.

She had no idea her mere accusation would cause such a scene.
