B3 Chapter 2- The Chariot Returns

“Spanner… torque wrench… blow torch… sandpaper… there’s a lot of stuff on your list Cyclops.” Manticore noted, looking up from the paper to the young Chained, the boy shrugging.

“I don’t know why I need half of that stuff. I mean, I like cars, and I know quite a bit about them, but some of the stuff going through my mind… it’s weird. Like how the heck does microwaving gasoline do anything?” Manticore ignored that last complaint to look back at the piece of paper in his hand.

Odysseus had that same complaint many a time when considering the original Cyclops and the old man’s creations.

The creations of Chained, particularly cybernetic Chained such as Cyclops, weren’t understandable even to scientists and other such great minds.

In fact, Odysseus had mentioned that their creations only made sense if you didn’t know a lot about science… even the abilities of biological Chained barely made sense.

“Don’t question it Cy! Just trust your ability and work with it and you can do a lot.” Dryad said, bouncing against Cyclops and knocking the younger Chained away as she stood proudly.

“How am I supposed to trust something that makes no sense to me?” Cyclops’ question went unanswered, the bubbly cybernetic Chained twirling as she stepped towards the stopped van.

It had been a week since Cyclops’ trio had started their journey, searching for the other youth of the Pantheon, currently they were heading towards Harpy’s last known location...

At least, they were before their van started to have problems.

Cyclops was of course a bit incredulous at how their only ride was breaking down like this, and why they didn’t simply steal another one.

He got into Tartarus for trying to steal cars, he wasn’t going to pretend he was a saint… though Cyclops did draw the line at trying to murder the original owners.

Manticore wouldn’t have cared, and for all that she acted ditzy, Dryad probably also didn’t have a proper moral compass.

No one truly did in this messed up place.

Anyway, as to why they didn’t simply steal a car-

“Then we’d have to spray paint it a bright colour, and that’s more annoying than fixing it.”

Or so Manticore stated. Cyclops was beginning to think it was just an excuse to see him working on cars though.

“The ability of a Chained comes naturally Cyclops, some do not even need it, such as Sphinx, and others move their abilities further beyond what they should be, such as the upper echelons of the Pantheon.” Manticore started, and Cyclops just blinked at the older Chained with confusion.

To be fair to Cyclops, he had been a Chained for all of a week or two, he was still figuring things out, not to mention being in Tartarus for roughly the same amount of time.

Cyclops was aware of his powers, though he did not appreciate the headaches that seemed to accompany his use of them.

“Right… I think I’ll just leave you two here. Dryad, kill anyone who dares harm either of you two.” Manticore said, and Dryad nodded, her smile now seeming a bit more sinister to Cyclops as Manticore vanished into a nearby alley.

“…Kill?” Cyclops asked Dryad with a brow creased with worry and concern.

“Yep. It’s kill or be killed in this place Cy. Every meeting is escalation; whoever is more willing to do whatever it takes is usually the victor, be it in a fight or even a conversation.” Dryad got progressively more and more sombre as she spoke, her eyes glazing over slightly before she shook her head.

“I’m sorry.” Cyclops eventually said, sitting on the floor, his back against a tyre of the van while he sipped on a beer, sighing in relief as the dull throbbing was alleviated slightly.

Cybernetic migraines were horrible, and for Cyclops they never really went away, they just dulled to the point where he could be functional as a human being for a bit, before returning with the equivalent force of a sledgehammer.

Drinking, as Manticore suggested, had helped Cyclops stave off the worst headaches, and if that wasn’t enough then Cyclops attempted to sleep whenever the migraines were weak enough to let him rest.

Apparently this was the reason the original Cyclops just drank and slept whole day, when he wasn’t working with cars of course.

Watching Cyclops drink his beer, Dryad giggled for a bit, reaching into the van and pulling out what looked like a video game controller…

Cyclops saw it from the corner of his eye and was a bit surprised…

That was a relic in the outside world, considering Holo-screens and their interface… though virtual reality was still the end goal, true virtual reality.

Needing to have something physically in your hand to play was optional yes, but still rare.

“What is that for?” Cyclops asked, watching as Dryad pressed the central ‘x’ looking button, the green lights flashing for a moment before settling, glowing slightly as Dryad smiled, moving the left control stick, the van moving slightly.

When the thing climbed out from behind the van, Cyclops just stared for a moment before looking at Dryad.

“How the hell did I miss that thing in the back of the van this whole time?” Cyclops shouted, really, really confused even as Dryad laughed, the thing waving its branch like appendages at Cyclops.

The thing looked like a walking tree, if a tree was made out of metal and had leaves that looked like razors. Oh, and the razors had a strange metallic red rust- oh who was Cyclops kidding, that was blood.

“It’s actually one of my computers.” Dryad said with a smile, moving the robot about with the controller for a moment.

“Again, that makes no sense.” Cyclops actually stumbled to a standing position, wobbling slightly and moving over to the van entrance and seeing the missing computers.

“Of course it doesn’t! My ability is Machine Empath. I can use any machine of course, but my specialty lies in the creation of robotic machines and V.I, or virtual intelligence!” Dryad said with a smile, leaving Cyclops to look at her with a single raised eyebrow.

“…Isn’t the area covered by that ability too much? And what the heck is a virtual intelligence? Is it like an A.I?” Cyclops wasn’t the most learned of people, but he knew what an A.I was, many countries were actually working on the development of A.I.

“No, no, nothing that extreme. Artificial Intelligence is basically a human brain made using hardware and coding, creating true artificial intelligence… that’s too much, even for me.” Dryad said, surprisingly serious about the topic for a moment before continuing.

“A virtual intelligence is comparatively ‘dumber’ than an artificial intelligence, but unlike an artificial intelligence, a virtual one is quite a bit more realistically possible.” Dryad started by pressing a button on her controller, the tree-like murder machine suddenly spinning its branches around creating what was essentially blenders on its ‘arms’.

Cyclops was understandably terrified as he looked at that.

“V.I is essentially programmed responses to certain stimuli, I press a button, the robot does something, to dumb it down a lot.” Cyclops felt a hit to his intelligence when the ditsy looking Dryad said this, but he also knew he couldn’t really argue her point.

He knew next to nothing about programming, so even if Dryad had explained everything in detail Cyclops probably wouldn’t have gotten much of it.

It would be like having him explain cars to Dryad, she had no reason to know or understand as much as Cyclops knew right now about cars…

Huh, so the reason modern flying cars were loud was because old electric cars were really quiet and therefore difficult to hear coming on, the noise was actually artificial…

Cyclops blinked that information away before a headache could appear, instead nodding to let Dryad know that he was still listening.

“A.I, on the other hand, wouldn’t really require me to do anything but input a single command. For a V.I, I’d need to input every last little command in a chain to achieve my goal, but for an A.I I’d simply give it the goal and the tools to achieve it, and eventually it would figure it out itself.” Cyclops took one bit of information from that.

“So a V.I is a car, and an A.I is a car that drives itself to your destination?” Dryad nodded with a smile, pleased at Cyclops thoughts.

Many Chained used their abilities to learn things in their own ways, such as Dryad using coding and robotic analogies herself; it was actually a good way to get familiar with how their abilities worked.

“That’s it basically. It’s much easier to build a regular car than to build a self-driving car, isn’t it?” Dryad asked, though she was a bit uncertain with her statement, Cyclops nodded in the end.

“Yeah, a self-driving car needs to be able to account for the area around it, plot a course, drive within speed-limits, all sorts of stuff, and they’re all really difficult to program into the car, not to mention the hardware needed to even use said programs… why do I suddenly know a bit of programming?” Dryad giggled at that question, patting Cyclops’ shoulder.

“Overlaps do happen Cy. But you get the idea, the Treant-Bot runs with a V.I, it won’t do anything unless I use this specially rigged controller to start it up and control it. This is Treant-Bot two point oh by the way.” Dryad pointed out, the robot, ‘Treant-Bot 2.0’ apparently, did a little jump as Dryad pressed a certain green button.

“I see…” Cyclops said though he didn’t really, only knowing that this was at the very least the second major variation of the murder machine disguised as some form of computer most of the times.

It was almost like a trans-

“Whoa!” Interrupting Cyclops’ copyright violating thoughts, Dryad shouted as the Chained heard a loud noise which Cyclops instantly identified as a car… which car though?

Before entering Tartarus, Cyclops only really knew cars to sound a bit… artificial. Fake.

It was only when inside Tartarus and hearing petrol based cars that Cyclops realized that he didn’t really like the sound electric cars and flying cars made, even if the two were arguably better for the environment and all that.

Looking down the road for the source of the noise, Cyclops watched as the car got closer and closer before speeding past, letting Cyclops see the make of the car as it did so.

“That’s a Zenvo ST-One, it’s a Denmark made car, they have a six point eight litre V-Eight engine and a standard top speed of two hundred and thirty three miles per hour, or roughly three hundred and seventy kilometres per hour, and how do I know all this when that’s the first time I’ve ever seen one?” Cyclops clutched his skull with a disturbed expression, only getting a laugh from Dryad.

“You speak fast.” Was all Dryad had to say on the matter even as she and Cyclops watched the car turn down one of the larger roads in Area one, the ‘thievery’ sector of the prison.

Cyclops had already gotten a crash course in all the Areas and their associated crimes, from Area one which was about stealing in general, to Area twelve which was just for Chained to enter the prison from.

“That’s what you pull out from my rambling, that I speak fast, what about the information I should have- never mind it’s part of my ability to understand cars isn’t it?” Cyclops cut himself off when he noticed that Dryad wasn’t really listening anymore, instead thinking to herself for a moment.

“Huh? Yeah, it’s probably that… actually, Cy, think about what we just saw.” Cyclops blinked a bit before shrugging holding a hand to his chin…

A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

They were in Area one… trying to get tools for Cyclops to modify/repair cars… an old car, a hyper-car of its time, just shot past them…

“Why is that thing in Area one?” Cyclops finally realized that something wasn’t quite right with that situation, as all ‘hyper-cars’ were in Area six with the exception of a few collectors.

Cyclops’ words were right on the money as Dryad snapped her fingers, looking at the Treant Bot.

“Treant-Bot, create screen, run search for ‘Owners of Zenvo ST-One’s’ in the database.” The Treant-Bot was apparently voice activated as well, considering the ‘trunk’ of the little murder-bot slid downwards revealing a small screen, running a search before stopping.

“Let’s see, query confirmed, known owners… There’s lady Solomon, she has one… boss Odysseus, of course he has one too… Baal had one but it got trashed while he was sparring with Lu Bu… and the fourth known one… belonged to the Chariot Garage.” Dryad confirmed with a frown, looking in the direction of where the car went.

“Dryad, what’s wrong?” Cyclops asked, recognizing all the names except for the ‘Chariot Garage’ at the end, and knowing that there were only ‘four’ of the Zenvo’s meant that it had to have been stolen from the Chariot Garage.

One was destroyed, two belonged to Lords. The only option available to steal would be the fourth one no?

“The Chariot Garage is the ruler of Area six, currently they’re headed by the newest Pegasus of the Pantheon, Paimon of the Ars Goetia, and Longma from the Fourth Kingdom, but the original owner of the Chariot Garage was the Cyclops before you.” Cyclops frowned, looking at Dryad as the screen closed on Treant-Bot’s ‘chest’.

“So what you’re saying…” Cyclops didn’t finish his sentence, but Dryad nodded nonetheless.

“Yes, all the possessions of the Chariot Garage would technically be your inheritance as the next Cyclops. Even the three current heads would accept that.” Dryad wasn’t even joking.

Boss Typhon along with the strongest members of the Pantheon beat the crap out of the new Pegasus when he tried to lay claim to all of the materials within the Chariot Garage, in the end Pegasus was forced to take care of and progress the Chariot Garage to later give to Cyclops.

Just for suggesting that Cyclops should earn his own cars and materials.

As for Longma and Paimon, their Lords told them to join the Garage, and in exchange the Pantheon would supply vehicles to the two other groups of the Key without issue.

“…So that car, is mine?” Cyclops asked slowly, staring at Dryad for a moment, getting a nod from the blonde.

Really all the cars used by the Key technically belonged to Cyclops first, and then the people driving them. Within reason of course, but the point was that all the cars used by the Key were supplied by the Chariot Garage and Cyclops was the rightful owner of that place.

“…You know… I got sent to this place for stealing cars and selling them. And I’m certain, that this is the first time I’ve ever had my own car stolen, even if I didn’t know it was mine.” Cyclops said blandly, looking to where the Zenvo had turned a corner.

“It’s a shitty feeling, having your car stolen. I don’t think I’m going to do it to anyone except those I dislike from now on.” Cyclops said aloud, turning over a new leaf, he was a new man, he was-

“That being said, let’s go steal my car back from whoever that asshole was.”

–Just a human being who wanted some basic payback.

Dryad actually laughed, drawing Cyclops eyes as Dryad had to hold onto her knees so that she wouldn’t fall over from laughter.

“Did I say something funny?” Cyclops asked, getting Dryad to shake her head with a smile on her face.

“No, not really, it’s just, it’s just, you sound just like boss Odysseus when someone annoys him!” Dryad said, and Cyclops nodded.

Of course, if Odysseus really sounded like Cyclops when they were both annoyed… maybe Odysseus wasn’t that bad of a guy.

Either that or Cyclops was oblivious to being a bad guy and Odysseus being similar made both of them bad guys, but it probably wasn’t that.

Probably…

“Again, is that a problem?” Cyclops was, admittedly, feeling a bit foolhardy, it was understandable given he had drunk quite a bit before that car just blew past them.

“Nope, there’s no problem at all! In fact, I’ve wanted to catch on shit since I first heard about boss Odysseus’ stories… and this is the perfect chance yeah? And besides, we didn’t start anything, that idiot tried to steal Cy’s car!” Dryad said with mischievous smirk that had even Cyclops a bit worried.

And Dryad was on Cyclops’ side.

“You were just looking for an excuse to cause trouble and you’re using me. Well fair enough, I’d like your help.” Cyclops shrugged, not really noticing that Dryad was looking at him with contemplation…

He really did sound a bit similar to Odysseus… of course, unlike the boss of the Pantheon, Cyclops didn’t even realize what he was doing.

“Alright, I can track the car down easily enough with the information network I possess, but actually getting it… I’m a pacifist.” Dryad said with a bright smile, and Cyclops looked to the red leaves of the Treant-Bot, and then back to Dryad with an expression that clearly read ‘are you joking?’

“And I’ve barely been in five brawls since I was born, you think I could fight?” Cyclops pointed out, willingly not mentioning the fact that Dryad clearly wasn’t as pacifistic as she acted.

“Does that matter? You’re a Chained with actual combat abilities even without your ability, but all I got were the fancy glowing eyes.” Cyclops crossed his arms, giving Dryad a single raised eyebrow in response.

“Your arms, they’re robotic. Some of your spine and shoulders are too from what I heard. You hit harder than you should, so you could win any normal human in a fight so long as you punched them. Not sure about Chained though.” Dryad admitted, and Cyclops looked to his hands…

Well obviously he noticed he had robot hands, kind of hard not to, but he hadn’t really thought about combat applications.

“And it’s not like you need to fight after all, what if you just sneak in and drive out?” Cyclops blinked, cupping his chin for a moment before nodding.

Then he reached down, grabbed and opened a beer, and then downed it in one go before burping really loudly.

“Well, I’m ready to go.” Dryad giggled before nodding, moving over to the van with the controller for the Treant-Bot.

“Great, I’ll be sending the bot with you to communicate, when Manticore gets back I’ll just let him know you went on an enthusiastic walk.” Cyclops felt there was some odd meaning behind that phrase, but instead just shrugged and started walking away while Dryad got into the van, closing the doors behind her.

The Treant Bot followed Cyclops, for some reason the machine had legs like a human, though they noticeably looked like two trunks from separate trees that somehow joined together to create its upper body.

“Alright, so let me explain this next bit, boss Odysseus is kind of paranoid at times, even if he doesn’t act like it, so he had trackers installed into each of the cars built, modified and repaired by the Chariot Garage, not that many people know that.” Cyclops listened to Dryad’s voice as the little robot led him through alley-ways…

Cyclops felt sorry for the normal humans who dived out of the way of the Treant-Bot and Cyclops as if it were a missile rushing towards them… but in general Chained weren’t exactly kind to normal humans so yeah, it was actually pretty understandable.

Not that Cyclops would hurt them, but seeing an angry Chained following behind a robot that looked like a walking blender more than it did a tree, if they didn’t jump out of the way there would definitely be something wrong with those people.

“That car is obviously also part of the listing, hence why I could tell that it was your one that was stolen. The Zenvo is also a rarely seen car even in the Chariot Garage so others might not have noticed it is missing yet… if they tried to steal the Chiron or the Jecko, whew, boss Odysseus might have chased them down himself, maybe even send boss Typhon after them.” Cyclops listened with a bit of worry…

Typhon, the second-in-command of the Pantheon was actually the strongest member of the group, Cyclops had been told of the unofficial ranking system created by Odysseus placed Typhon and his sister Echidna as top-rank Chained, in comparison, Cyclops and Dryad would both be low-rank Chained.

Manticore was a mid-rank Chained apparently.

Ranking was not the end of fighting skill, there were two low-rank Chained capable of fighting high-rank Chained due to their own unique way of using their abilities or fighting techniques…

Nonetheless, calling in Typhon was the equivalent of sending a one-man army after whoever went against the Chariot Garage.

“Odysseus must have really respected the Cyclops before me…” Cyclops muttered softly, but not soft enough that Dryad didn’t hear him through the Treant-Bot.

“Of course he did. The Cyclops before you was Odysseus’ friend, especially after Cyclops got Synchronized by Echidna and Odysseus went through the torture that made him Odysseus… Cyclops was finally able to speak and think clearly, and Odysseus needed someone to talk to about things.” Dryad spoke up, her bubbly nature subdued for a bit as she spoke about Cyclops’ predecessor.

“Oh… I guess, if someone helps you through difficult times, of course you’ll defend them, even when they’re gone.” Cyclops said, taking a moment to swig from the bottle of beer he took with him, stumbling slightly as he did so.

“…Guess that saying about a drunken man’s words being a sober man’s thoughts is true.” Dryad said from the Treant-Bot before the robot suddenly stopped, one of its ‘branches’ pointing forward.

“What is it? The car there?” Cyclops said with a bit of a wobble to his step as the Treant-Bot nodded, its ‘leaves’ tinkling from knocking into each other.

“Affirmative! I recommend you hurry, if anyone saw that guy take the car inside, it won’t be in there for much longer… this is the thievery sector, no one holds onto things for very long here.” Dryad’s words came from the Treant-Bot while Cyclops nodded, trying to drink more from his beer but finding the bottle empty.

Cyclops shrugged, keeping the beer bottle in hand as he wobbled closer to the building, holding one hand to his glowing blue eye, the other holding the bottle as he stumbled.

Cyclops had no idea whether or not this would work, but if he got this right he was going to be laughing for a while.

The Treant-Bot watched from the alley, Dryad a bit confused as she watched Cyclops walk up to the door… and then watched Cyclops unzip his pants and start pissing on the door.

“Well… that’s one way to get attention.” Dryad muttered to herself in the van, having muted the microphone as she watched the situation Cyclops was in.

With Cyclops, he was just about done when he heard some cursing from inside the building, and, making sure he wasn’t going to mess on himself, zipped up his pants and waited for a moment.

“What the hell man, why would you piss on a door?” the man shouted, his glowing blue eyes letting Cyclops know that this guy was a Chained, a Cybernetic one just like Cyclops…

That didn’t stop Cyclops from smoothly raising the beer bottle and smashing it over the guy’s skull, leaving the guy to drop to the floor unconscious.

“...The fuck?” Dryad spoke aloud, surprised as she watched Cyclops toss the neck of the bottle into the road, picking up the unconscious Chained onto his shoulder before he walked into the building.

“Well, looks like Cyclops would make a good assassin, that attack was excellent.” Dryad very carefully screamed for a moment before she realized that it was Manticore in the van with her, carrying a bag filled with the tools Cyclops asked for.

“When did you… ex-assassin, right, I forgot.” Dryad said in response to Manticore’s grin at her scream.

“And don’t you forget it, I was an assassin back when I was a giant lion creature, I got better after shrinking.” Manticore pointed out, looking at the live-feed Dryad was watching from her phone.

The phone picked up on what the Treant-Bot could ‘see’ and the controller moved it, she had a microphone headset plugged into the phone so that she could talk through the Treant-Bot too.

The whole setup was inspired by Odysseus talking to Dryad about gaming systems and live-streaming.

“So, how did this happen?” Manticore asked, leaving Dryad to chuckle nervously.

“Well you see…” While Dryad explained the circumstances and guided the Treant-Bot back to the van, Cyclops walked over to the Zenvo and dumped the unconscious Chained in the passenger seat, before getting in to the driver seat himself.

“Right… let’s bring up the info on this thing… isn’t this thing basically a flammable car?” Cyclops said to himself after a moment of looking at everything, his mind supplying him with the specs of the car and finding that the car was notorious for catching fire on a certain British car show, as well as during the Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix in twenty-fifteen.

“Cooling unit failure, and fuel line problems? This car is going to need a lot of tuning before I find it acceptable.” Luckily, it seemed that the Chained didn’t actually go faster than two fifty, so it was still salvageable…

Not that Cyclops wanted to touch the thing with a twenty foot pole… unless the Chariot Garage worked on it already…

Cyclops just had to hope that it was worked on by the Chariot Garage as he started the car, listening for a moment before nodding.

It didn’t sound ‘stock’ so he figured the issues were mostly fixed.

And this time, Cyclops didn’t even question why he knew what a ‘stock’ Zenvo sounded like.

Heck, there were only ever fifteen produced, so even knowing its name was amazing.

Cyclops drove the car out of the garage, the garage door not closed for some reason, and began to travel back to the van…

Already, Cyclops was wondering how to modify the car even more… by the time he got to Manticore and Dryad, he would decide that no, the Zenvo should actually remain a ‘showroom’ piece because of its problems, regardless of whether they were fixed or not.

“Ah, Cy, you’re back! Who’s sleeping beauty over there?” Dryad asked while Cyclops shrugged, closing the car door behind him while Manticore got the other Chained out.

“He could be dangerous, but we’re three Chained and he’s one. Unless he’s a top-ranked Chained, we don’t need to worry.” Manticore said, placing the unknown Chained on the ground… and then slapping him senseless.

“Hah! I’m awake, I’m awake! Why! Are! You! Still! Hitting! Me!” the Chained yelled between slaps, Manticore only stopping after about ten slaps to each side of his face.

“It’s punishment for stealing a car belonging to the Key. So who are you, so that we know where to send your corpse of course?” Manticore said, holding the Chained by the shirt, leaving the suddenly pale Chained to raise his hands defensively.

“Easy, easy, I’m Marbas, Marbas, I didn’t know-” before the Chained could continue his speech his chest was slammed into the ground by Manticore, the back of his head knocking the ground as well.

Dryad was starting to worry about the integrity of Marbas’ skull.

“Ah, so you’re one of Solomon’s… I doubt this is betrayal to the Key, Solomon wouldn’t dare betray Odysseus or Lu Bu, so this is either just you being an idiot, or a few of you being idiots, which is it?” Manticore asked, the Chained looking wide eyed and terrified, with understandable reason…

Being shoved into the floor and such wasn’t that scary, Marbas wasn’t even that awake until the slaps were done and he was still a bit confused…

But he was definitely focusing when the giant scorpion tail pointed itself at his neck…

“Huh, did not know he had that.” Cyclops noted, and Dryad nodded in agreement.

“Yeah, Manticore wear’s longer coats to hide it, he uses it as a belt most of the time.” Dryad pointed out conversationally…

“It’s just me, just me man! I already said, I didn’t-” Manticore’s tail stabbed just next to Marbas’ face, making the Chained shake in fear.

“How could you not know that the Chariot Garage supplies vehicles to the Key? No one messes with us, but you… oh?” Manticore paused for a moment, leaning down…

“You…. You’re probably a new addition to the Chained, aren’t you? Probably new to Tartarus as well… how did Solomon let you by, I wonder?” Manticore asked, and Marbas shivered before he suffered a sudden bout of incontinence.

“And he was complaining about me pissing on his door, he’s lucky he wasn’t in the van.” Cyclops added, surprisingly uncaring about what was happening…

Cyclops probably didn’t care much because Marbas stole ‘his’ car.

“Well, Dryad, contact Solomon, ask if she has any of her Chained in Area one to escort this brat to her. Also notify Echidna that there’s another Chained in need of Synchronization.” Manticore added, Dryad mock saluting before she got to work.

It would be half an hour later before some faceless, mute Chained named Ronové showed up to take the Zenvo to its original place, taking Marbas along with him.

“Well that was interesting… how was the car by the way?” Dryad asked as she looked up from her Teant-Bot disguised as a computer, Manticore starting up the van.

“Eh… fast, but it’s a death-trap without being worked on. So because I didn’t work on it, I don’t trust it.” That drew laughs from the other Chained in the van as they moved towards Area two…

Manticore was glad though… Cyclops the Chariot might be making a return soon… not yet though. Manticore didn’t want Cyclops driving the van after all.
