“I had my head bitten off?” Gilgamesh’s words were laced with incredulity as Jaeger nodded, keeping a stern face as Leviathan hid his chuckles behind Gilgamesh.
“…No wonder a large portion of my memories are gone. All I can remember is undergoing the Ascension process and nothing much after that… I was told that if my head was removed I’d only remember up to that point… what year is it?” Gilgamesh asked, looking to Leviathan with her annoyance transparent upon her face.
“Well, you had your head bitten off half a year ago; it took a month for your head to grow back and five months after that for you to get out of your coma. It’s currently early twenty seventy eight.” Leviathan’s words drew a wide eyed stare from Gilgamesh.
“Well, that’s a long time… I was Ascended during twenty-twenty four… that’s fifty four odd years of memories missing… where are my memory files?” Gilgamesh voiced aloud, a screen nearby showing the files.
“I’ll be regaining my memories… considering one can gain six years of memories in a month, I’ll be incapacitated for nine months. Until then, let all the systems continue as normal, and make no overt decisions without my say so… also, tell whoever’s in the council that I’m predisposed.” Gilgamesh warned, shooing the two out of her room.

“A normal human being and that uncouth Ascended as my main soldiers… what was the other me thinking?” Gilgamesh asked herself, not stopping her narcissism even from herself.
“…Did she really just make that decision?” Jaeger asked Leviathan who shrugged.
“Apparently yes… she’s going to be pissed when she realized she ordered us to leave Odysseus and his friends alone for nine months, isn’t she?” Leviathan asked with a hint of worry.
“You think that’s bad, how do you think she’ll feel when she realizes that Lu Bu betrayed us in that last battle?” Jaeger asked in return…
After a moment of silence they both walked away, agreeing that nine months from now, they would be far, far away from Gilgamesh, at least until she takes her anger out on someone else.
“Get out.” The boy felt the shove, and did not fight back, instead moving as directed…
Anything to not be hurt anymore…
“Welcome to your new home kid… welcome to Tartarus.” The boy looked across the distance, at the massive stadium, the buildings, and the occasional person stopping to stare at him as the gates closed behind him.
Before he got a chance to move much, a man, wearing a collar on his neck with an omega symbol (Ω) walked towards him, followed by a girl with bright yellow hair and a wide smile, a similar collar on her neck.
“Excuse me boy, but might I ask what your name is?” The dark-skinned man asked with a slight bow, his voice soothing…
“I can’t remember… but… I think… I think it’s Cyclops.”
