Avery, worried and concerned, called out to Felix,

Avery showed visible discomfort.
“Okay. But are you sure?”
Felix sighed as he breathed, “Yes. I will be fine. Now let's go.”
Felix trudged down the staircase and through the door into the open cavern. The green grass had turned blood red. The air still echoed with the screams of pain from helpless Runics. Avery reached her hand out wiping his tears away, shaking as she hushed him and said, "It's okay. I'm going to be fine. I just need to lie down and catch my breath, just need to catch my breath." Her eyes and mouth closed and her rested heart still.
“Avery.”
The thought was set in his mind. She was dead. After 14 short years, she had died. Died in his arms when he could have saved her.
