Jin and Kirilia met at the training yard for their training session a few days later. She explained what she learned from the Royal Martial Academy and Jin tried his best to assimilate it all. After the lesson, Kirilia gave Jin a scroll. She said that this was the meditation technique that the Royal Martial Academy created especially for their students. She told him it was extremely difficult to master. However, if the person mastered it he or she would become very good with Qi circulation. Jin took the scroll and immediately started looking it up. It was a better circulation technique compared to what the Velor Clan Inner Disciples had access to. It was a priceless gift from Kirilia and showed how much she cared about their friendship, Jin needed to return the favor someday.
For the next few days, Jin continued his regular training session. Over the weeks, his mind became sharper, quicker, more agile and his body grew stronger every day and his mind kept thinking about different tactics and techniques.
But there was something that was getting on Jin's nerves, some of the other Inner Disciples were taunting him. One of his fellow Inner Disciples was Koyen who decided to target him during their training sessions. Koyen seemed to have nothing else to do, other than tease him. And since Jin didn't really enjoy fighting for meaningless things he usually ignored those insults that were thrown at him.
After three months of ignoring everything he did, Koyen decided to take his provocations to the next level. At the breakfast hall, that morning Jin was ignoring Koyen's provocations as usual completely as he ate.
"Hey! Are you deaf? I'm saying you don't belong here!" Koyen shouted at Jin with anger. Jin didn't turn around or say anything at all, he just continued eating his breakfast. Koyen's fists clenched and his breathing became faster, Jin was clearly not giving him any respect.
But Jin's companions were getting annoyed, they couldn't stand disrespect towards their Squad leader. Nong decided to stand out.
"Do you want to get your ass beaten?! You bastard!" Nong screamed back. The other squad members were also getting ready for a fight.
"Nong, we cannot fight against clan members. Please sit down, his provocations are empty" Jin stopped Nong in time and put a hand on his shoulder, making him sit down again.
"Boss, we should destroy them!" Nong appealed to Jin. This made Jin think, maybe they should give him a beating?

"Jin is right, we should avoid fighting outside of practices or spars." Freesia stated.
"You only passed the Courage test because your Grandmother helped you. Everyone here knows you are a coward!" Koyen continued to tease. "Besides being a coward, you are a loser. Just like your parents!"
After hearing this, Jin felt his blood boil. Insulting him wasn’t enough to cause a reaction, but how dare he insult his parents, this was the last straw. They perished fighting for the Velor Clan against the Meegar clan in the last war, everyone knew that.
The fact that he would go as far as insulting Jin's father and mother angered him to the point where he couldn't help but let his rage out. Before anyone knew what was happening Jin ran straight past the other disciples and pushed Koyen against a wall with his full force.
"Koyen!" Jin shouted, "You went too far this time!"
Before he realized he had acted impulsively, his fist landed squarely on Koyen's face and the loud sound echoed throughout the entire room. With a thud, Koyen fell to the floor. Fighting was forbidden outside of the training grounds. Jin had gone beyond the line. All the disciples looked at Jin horrified.
"What did you do!? Why are you attacking him!?" Someone asked in fear.
"Are you crazy!?" Another Koyen friend yelled at Jin, "We cannot let him get away with that!"
“He deserved it after saying that!” Some disciples raised their voices defending Jin. It looked like it would be a battle between the disciples at the breakfast hall. The disciples from Jin’s squad all went in defense of their squad leader.
“Now it is your time to get beaten!” Nong said to Koyen’s friends as he was getting ready to attack.
“That's enough out of all of you!" Said an Elder who saw the conflict, "Everyone sit down right now."
There was silence at the moment, as most of them listened to the Elder's words and started to sit down on their seats. Koyen regained consciousness and got up. His face was swollen from the punch. But even with the swelling, his eyes were full of hatred towards Jin, and a disturbing smile on his face. His provocations finally reached Jin!
"Fighting between disciples is not permitted outside the Training Grounds." The Elder said with a stern look on his face, "Go back to your room to await your punishment."
"Yes Elder." Jin quickly replied and quickly returned to his room. He knew he had broken the Clan’s rules. There was a sense of awkwardness among the group of disciples. Even if Jin attacked Koyen, he had a good reason. Koyen offended two fallen heroes of the Clan.
To be honest, none of the younger disciples actually liked Koyen but no one dared to challenge him because his dad was an Elder of the Clan that was gaining a lot of power recently. He was just as bad as a spoiled brat.
