Swano took a leisurely stroll through the Crimson District of Roree, there were ladies and men of the night offering their services to lonely souls. This district alongside Whitestream and Sapphire Valley are known as the big threesome. Clever, i know. Statues of Devilla, her sister Erosa, and their mother Aphros dressed in see-through gowns was carved in glorious marble sat in the center of this free-spirited district. Red lantern lights glowed in the night sky giving everything a dreamy look. Swano drunk in the atmosphere, casually signing autographs to her many fans as she stopped at a stall that served martinis.
"It a beautiful night out, isn't it?" A warm, sultry voice said to Swano as she gave her a iced out Lavalla. For those unaware it a caramel-flavored whiskey topped with whip cream with ice at the bottom. Make sure to use Elemental Arcadia for longer lasting ice.
"It sure is." Swano agreed before taking a sip and looking around. There was nobody else there, not a single soul was around as she felt her heart rate go up dramatically. She slowly turns her head to see the Goddess of Love staring at her, smiling at her like a friend. But what chilled the Orc singer to the core was the fact there was no emotion behind her eyes. It was getting hard to breathe for the orc singer. She backed away from the Goddess who was amused by her utter cowardice.
"What happen to that bombshell persona you put on for my friend Zylon?" Devilla asked curiosly as Swano felt like she was going to have a heart attack. The Orc singer clutched her chest, she was hearing voices but they were all mumbled and jumbled together to make a cacophony of meaningless noise.
And yet Devilla's voice came to her shockingly clear. That same sweet and caring voice that made anyone feel at ease wormed it way into her brain, she felt her whole body being weighed down.
"A facade? Well that disappointing but it does make this a lot easier." Devilla said like Swano answered her question. Swano attempted to run but felt her legs give out when stood up. Bringing her on the ground to her knees.
"Love itself make one feel weak in the legs, wouldn't you agree?" Devilla asked of the singer who couldn't even open her mouth to say anything.
Devilla looked down on the woman her father Apollo had blessed.
"You made a mockery of my great father blessing. Do you know that?" Devilla asked of Swano who could only stare her in the eyes as some sort of defiance against the Goddess. Her last middle finger against fate itself.
"And you disgraced my mother's kindness to all the beautiful workers of the night." Devilla told her as she stomped her left ruby red heel through Swano's hand, the Orc Singer couldn't even scream out in pain due to her lungs suddenly constricting.

"Just call them prostitutes! That what they are!" Swano thought and would've said if she could speak.
"You're not going to lay a finger on those two lovebirds, and you know what else?" Devilla asked rhetorically of Swano as she begins to vomit the contents of her stomach through her nose and mouth.
"You won't punish Kelias and Silva either. You will release Kelias from under your and Lafarius's control with no strings attached. If i find out you or any of your lackeys laid a finger on them, or if you so much as even look at them wrong." The sky became a brilliant red that was too much for Swano's eyes as she shielded them with her hands. She tried to squint to see a little better without getting blinded when she saw Lafarius, her dear beloved Lafarius's head on the ground in front of her. Devilla smiles at the distraught Swano and patted her head.
"Love can be many things, fun, scary, exciting, tragic." She placed emphasis on that last word.
Swano found herself screaming in the healing springs of Xanan, being cradled by Lafarius.
"Honey, my muse, everything is alright now. Please, come back to me." Lafarius said calmly in her ear. His voice bringing her back from the brink of despair. She slowly calmed down, feeling the warmth radiating from his chest.
"Where-oh." She said softly, glad to see her husband still alive and well. She kissed him passiontely.
"Nazolo saw you having a outright seizure in the Crimson District." He told her, he was quite confused then concerned when Nazolo came in here with Swano convulsing wildly.
She nodded, focusing on the cool water tethering her to reality. The hellish nightmare of that bimbo Goddess of Love far behind her. She started to slowly let the tears fall as she snuggled into his muscular chest.
"I saw you...your head was on the ground in front of me." Swano said, her voice lacking the confidence it once had, now replaced with a nervous cadence.
"Well I’m here right now, aren't i? What could have happened to you to make you think of something like that?" Lafarius asked of her, rubbing circles in her back.
Swano grit her teeth in anger.
"That bitch Devilla, she practically tormented me mentally and threaten me with your death. Some Goddess Of Love." Swano spat out, her voice filled with rage.
"Why did she threaten you?" Lafarius asked, his voice now hard.
"Oh because i threatened that useless assassin Kelias and her wife, what her face? The one with the huge ass?" Swano asked.
"Silva." he answered. He loved her cooking that she would bring over sometimes. Very nice woman that his now former assassin has chosen to be her wife.
"That the one. Sorry my darling, it just with that bitch messing with my head earlier, it very difficult to think straight." Swano apologized as she nuzzled her face into the chest of her husband.
"Understandable. Just rest for now my sweet muse." He told her as he stroked her hair lovingly.
"mmmh." She moaned as she rested her eyes.
Having her in his arms made him truly appreciate what he had in life.
And made him want to destroy any two-bit pansy ass God that try to take it away from him.
