The Sunset Overeasy, what was once the small restaurant of a chubby blonde man with a gleam in his eye became a successful chain of businesses under Oshia, daughter of Krania, The Goddess of War and loving husband Bartholomew, Creator of Sunset Overeasy.
Hera sat in one of the newly renovated booths, she looks around the establishment and feels overwhelmed by all the changes and new equipment. But even still, there was some elements of the new modernized restaurant that instill her with nostalgia. The Menus that was still laminated and had the faint scent of honey. The dark red coloring of the booths, to the sounds of cooking coming from the kitchen.
She leaned back and remember her days spent here after classes was over with. Just chatting with Furiosa about her day, doing homework and studying as the succubus talk about the latest shenanigans going on at that awful academy. Furiosa boosting her self-esteem while she helps Furiosa with her own issues. Sharing each other's food.
She smiled to herself.
"What'cha smiling about my angel? Furiosa asked above her, her red and pink hair curly and vibrant as ever. Hera was surprised at choice of clothing HOWEVER. It was very…conservative for lack of a better word. A black dress shirt with long sleeves and a pink tie, she had on long cream-colored slacks and dress shoes of the same colors.
“See something you like?” Furiosa teased sitting right besides Hera who blushed, now remembering what Furiosa did before leaving last week.
“O-oh it just nice being back here is all!” Hera quickly explained.
“Anything else?” Furiosa pressed on, rubbing circles in Hera's arm.
Hera didn’t know why after all this time she still get flustered by her. Was she cursed?
“Well your outfit is certainly…not something I would ever expect to see you in.” Hera said honestly.
Furiosa chuckled as she picks up a menu and read through it.
“Yeah well when you’re working in social services, you have to dress a certain way. Can’t really show my true power after all.” Furiosa explained, grinning.
Hera gasped and smiled at this new information.
“You did it?! You got your dream job?” Hera asked excitedly.
Furiosa couldn’t help but find pride in all that she accomplished and nodded.
“Yup, it feels nice being able to help people who are in similar predicaments like I was.” Furiosa said, a sense of melancholy found its way into her before getting extinguish by all the good she done.
“It makes sense, you were naturally born for this job.” Hera said with a warm smile as memories of her day at EizenGarte came to her.
“How so?” Furiosa asked, curious of Hera's reasoning.
“Are you serious? I mean-“
Hera was cut short by the Dwarf waitress approaching their table.
“Are you ready to make your orders?”
“Of course! I’m starving. I have the Dark Red steak and potatoes wedges and for my lovely wife?”
Hera blushed and silently hit Furiosa on the shoulder, an embarrassed look on her face as she frantically look at the menu.
“Two-time Bacon Cheeseburger and very berry milkshake.” Hera stammered out.
“You didn’t correct the waitress though.” Furiosa noted innocently.
“Shut up!”
There was silence for a moment and then they both started to laugh again, It felt so nice to do this again.
"I mean you're always helping people, like me for example. If it wasn't for you coming in and saving me when you did, i don't know where i end up." Hera confess to her.
"Surely you're exaggerating."
"I'm not. What about you helping Velven just not too long ago, or that one time where you save me from getting assaulted?" Hera reminded her with a gentle smile.
Furiosa stopped and thought for a minute, a surprised expression on her face one second and a look of deep concentration the next. She did do a lot of helping for someone who needed help her damn self. But it made her feel...
"I like helping people. It make me feel- and i know this is going to sound dramatic as all hell but stay with me...complete." Furiosa said honestly as the waitress brought their drinks.

"Your delicious food will be ready in just a moment!"
"Thank you!" Hera thanked the waitress with a smile.
"Anyways, i don't think that dramatic, i think that amazing that you feel complete being helpful."
Hera noticed her milkshake was really big and placed it in the middle of the table and got a second straw as Furiosa watches with curiosity.
"Wanna share this? It rather big." Hera said, regretting the phrasing knowing that Furiosa was going to clown her for it.
But to her surprise she didn't, Furiosa just nodded, the succubus know it was corny as all hell but what wrong with being corny every once in a while? They both sipped from the same milkshake, Hera’s focused on the milkshake while Furiosa just stared at Hera. Hera stopped drinking and broke away from the straw, a thin trail of salvia left from her mouth to the straw which didn’t goes unnoticed by Furiosa. She caught herself before letting her fantasies run rammpan-
“AH! Damnit! Brain Freeze!” Furiosa whisper shouted in agony as she held her head in her hands.
“Oh no! Don’t worry, just stay still.” Hera said before placing both her hands on Furiosa’s cheeks. Her hands started to glow and a warmth spread throughout Furiosa’s body, negating the brain freeze.
“Do you feel better?” Hera asked, concerned for her friend.
“Mhmm…” Furiosa moaned in agreement as Hera begin to moved her hands Furiosa kept them there and just…melt into Hera’s touch.
Hera was a little embarrassed but couldn’t help but smile at how Furiosa was acting. A lot has changed but at the same time a lot still stayed the same as when they were in the academy.
“I hate to interrupt this special moment but your food is here!” The Dwarf waitress said happily as she look at the couple.
Furiosa let go and Hera sat down in her seat as the waitress placed the food on the table.
The food was simply mouth-watering and Hera took the first bite of her two-time cheeseburger (A burger with two meat patties and double cheese with pickles, tomatoes, Lettice, and onions.)
Furiosa eat her Dark Red steak and let the juice run down her chin.
They enjoyed the food and continue to converse with each other about various things.
After paying the bill and leaving a nice tip for the waitress, they both got out of the restaurant and talk about what to do next time they meet. Unaware of the Two Gods that approached them.
"Hera i assume?" The muscular white haired man with red eyes asked of the young blonde woman with her long hair braided into a braid that flung over her shoulder who was now shocked at meeting the God of War known as Garwik in person. The same God Of War that her father and uncles fought long before she was born.
"Y-yes?" The mixed hybrid asked as her succubus friend with the long red and pink hair held her hand tightly to reassure her.
"I just wanted to congratulate you on becoming Devilla's new assistant." Garwik told her with a small smile on his face.
"Oh! Thank you so much Mr.Garwik!" Hera accepted the compliment, completely nervous at her saying the wrong thing. Her friend just laughed at how Hera was acting.
"Just Garwik is fine." He told her politely.
"Hope you can survive Devilla's endless teasing." a tall woman with dark skin and bright curly green hair and eyes told Hera with a knowing smile as Hera blushed and shook her head. This was Terra, The Goddess of the Earth.
"Hera been friends with me for a while now, so trust me when i said that she can survive flirting and not so subtle innuendo." Furiosa confidently told the group as she held Hera close in her arms who was now red as a tomato.
Before The Gods and the human left into the resturant, Hera stopped Garwik.
"Um...I just want to say thank you for sparing my father's life during the Demon raid on your village. You may know him as Jakan, Sword of the Underworld " Hera explained.
Garwik looked surprised and Terra just smiles brightly, they both recalled with clear details the day a horde of warriors from the underworld raided his village. He had a suspicion that they were being coerced into doing this by a unknown assailant .
"So this is your daughter? Good on you for realizing what important in this life." Garwik thought.
"There is no need to thank me, thank your father for having good enough sense to know when he was being fooled." Garwik told her as he and Terra and a unknown woman let into Sunset OverEasy.
Hera and Furiosa walk away. They was almost at the point where they would separate and go back to their respective homes until Furiosa stopped Hera.
"What wrong?" Hera asked Furiosa, a little concerned with how purple and red Furiosa's aura is. Furiosa couldn't help but ask this question, the question that could change their relationship entirely for the better or worst.
"Would you trust me?" Furiosa said, looking down.
Hera grabbed her hand and look at her with an intensity that Furiosa only ever saw once in those emerald eyes, it was the night Hera saved her from Sazael.
“Without question.” She simply replied.
Furiosa look at her with a surprised expression that you would miss if you blink. Her face immediately went into a sadistic grin as her eyes glowed a dark purple, without warning she trapped Hera against the nearby wall of a small building using her body.
“Are you ready for what your blind trust would bring you? Furiosa asked close to Hera’s ear making her shiver. Hera noted the clear undercurrent of anger in her question.
The woman placed her hand on Furiosa’s cheek causing to look directly into Hera’s green eyes.
“You’re not the monster you think you are.” She said softly.
Furiosa stayed silent for a moment. She turned away from her, the tears that fell down her cheeks was a betrayal of her emotions. And she couldn’t…no she wouldn’t…
Hera hugged her from the back. Furiosa turned in her arms and hugged her tightly like she was going to disappear if she stopped embracing her. She fully broke down and stop denying herself. Hera rubbed circles in her back, bringing Furiosa back to the old days at the academy.
“Nothing has truly changed.” Furiosa thought to herself.
“My guardian angel.” She mumbled in her shoulder. She didn’t hear Hera say Niartser until it was too late.
“And I’m not some pushover, you know?” Hera said with a smile full of confidence as she leaned against the wall, admiring her work.
“Of course, you’re not. How could I forget?” Furiosa said, remembering all the times Hera had proven herself. She was angry at herself for thinking less of the person who pulled out of the abyss, the one who just the simple thought of her kept Furiosa on level ground.
“So try not to worry about my wellbeing so much.” Hera added as she walked behind Furiosa and in a moment of spontaneity slapped the succubus’s round ass. Furiosa yelped in surprise.
Hera stopped for a moment and realize what she did.
“OHMYGODI’MSORRY.” Hera apologized profusely over and over as Furiosa blinked for a few moments in utter shock.
"Wow Hera, didn't think you had it in you." Furiosa said with a grin, still dazed by the slap but extremely happy.
"LETMEGETYOUOUTOF THERE" Hera continue to panic as her words run together. Hera undid the spell.
Furiosa was laughing maniacally as Hera scolded herself for letting her intrusive thoughts win.
