Zakutu's Treasure

"If you come here. You will find a hidden treasure" - Paulo Coelho

There is much to speculate and debate on what we hold valuable to us. To the Flugels it is books, music, knowledge, culture. To the Orks and Goblins it is gold, diamonds, precious gems. To the elves it is nature, tranquility, peace. To humans? it is all of these things and more. In this world there are few things guaranteed to us, Not every flugel has books to read or music to listen to. Not every ork and goblin can attain gold or precious stones. Not every Elf has tranquility or peace. Most certainly not every human has all of these things. As such we search for them, to attain them for ourselves or our people.

Zakutu, the name given to the first flugel by the ancient Arkkadians, goes by many names by many early civilizations. "The Flame", "The Light in the Darkness", "Savior", "Salvation", "Messiah", "Mother", "Leader", "Guardian of Man", "The last survivor" all of these names all belong to this ancient Flugel. Whilst there is much to be said about her in her own regard the main topic of intrigue here is of a great treasure she left behind; to be more exact a great promise.

Stolen novel; please report.

Mentioned in half-remembered whispers to the Ancient Peoples of Mesopotaminus Zakutu promised to lead them into a new age after the "Long Night" and how she expressed great sorrow and guilt for not being able to do more for them. Instead opting to guide them to a treasure which will allow them to achieve this promise of a new age for Man and all the other survivors from the "Long Night". It is unsure what became of Zakutu as she disappeared from all records after making this promise to man. Flugels are known to live very long lives in comparison to us Humans but even at this point it is speculated that Zakutu was amongst the oldest of the Flugels at this point.

The treasure which she has left for us to find is still unknown and buried underneath layers of mistranslations and straight lies by those who choose to record this piece of lost history but many scholars speculate it is a treasure which will unite all kingdoms and races together and lead them into an age of shared, global, prosperity.
