Chapter 3: goblins
We got out of bed the next morning cleaned up and ate breakfast. We headed to the adventurer’s guild to do our first quest. We went to the receptionist's desk and asked what quests we could take. The receptionist explained to us that adventurers are ranked from F to SS. You can get promoted by defeating monsters of a higher rank or do quests for the guild and eventually get promoted. With each promotion, we can take that rank quest or lower.
We thanked the receptionist and got ready to go to the quest board and stopped us and asked, “Are you guys a party?”
“yes, we are why?”
she smiled and explained to us that we could open a party menu to check each other health and stamina. We thanked the girl and walked over to the quest board. We picked something easy for our first job.
MISSION : KILL A GOBLIN DEN WITH 20 GOBLINES
REWARD: 10 COPPERS
We made our way out of town and I turned to the girls
“Do you guys know where the goblin den is located?”
Rena looked at me like I was stupid “I knew you wouldn’t know where it was a good thing, I picked up a map from the guild.” She opened the map and pointed out where we were at and then she pointed at where the goblins are.
We were walking for a bit and I opened the party menu.

I was curious about these ??? again until Kureko got my attention I looked at her “Master I smell goblins.”
“You can smell them?”
“Yes, master I am a beast kin our noses are better than humans. I smell 3 goblins ahead what should we do?” I thought for a minute and told Rena to go up in a tree and Kureko and I will hide behind a rock and a tree. When Rena shoots the first one Kureko and I will take out the other 2.
We were waiting. Rena could have taken one out by now, but she waited until they got closer to us.
She released her arrow and hit a goblin killing it. I jumped from behind a tree and cut a goblin in half. The other goblin tried to run away but Kureko was faster she extender her claws out and pierced the goblin's heart.
“do you smell any more goblins?
“no master I don’t. did you see anything from the tree sister?”
“There is a cabin up ahead that has to be the goblin den”
We made it closer to the cabin Kureko sniffed the air “master I smell goblins and something bigger inside the cabin what should we do?”
I thought for a moment and asked Kureko “do you think you can kill 3-4 goblins yourself?”
Kureko had an evil smile and nodded. I told the girls Rena would cover us with arrows and I will go to the cabin from the east Kureko will go to it from the west. They nodded in agreement and we moved out.
I made it close to the cabin then 4 goblins attacked me I killed 2 then 2 arrows came flying killing the other 2. I looked over to the west and seen Kureko taking out 4 goblins with blurring speeds. 11 down 9 to go. We made it to the cabin door and then something kicked it opened 7 goblins ran out. I took out 4. Kureko took out another 2 and an arrow killed the last 1. 2 to go I said to myself.

I got ready to enter the cabin but Kureko pushed me away and a goblin came running out fast. Kureko ran after it and they started fighting with lightning-fast speeds. What in the hell is a goblin assassin doing here I thought to myself?
“master go, leave this to me I will be fine”
I nodded my head and went into the cabin. I almost puked because of the dead bodies lying around. Then something attacked me from behind I barely dodged the attack. I turned around and seen a hobgoblin. Just my luck I got to fight this thing myself. Rena is guarding our rear and Kureko busy with the assassin.
I sighed to myself. The hobgoblin ran after me and I dodged to the side and swung my sword at its neck. The hobgoblin pulled out another sword to block my attack. It swung the other sword at my stomach. I barely dodge it and countered with a swing of my sword. The hobgoblin tried to block my attack with its sword but did not have a good grip on it and the sword fell out of its hands. The hobgoblin roared and jumped back from my swing. I followed it and kept trying to swing my sword but to no avail, the hobgoblin kept blocking my attacks and then kicked me in the stomach. It knocked the air out of me, and I fell to the floor.
The hobgoblin tried to stab me on the ground. I rolled out of the way and felt the sword that it dropped beside me. I picked the sword up and got up off the ground. I swung my sword at the hobgoblin but it blocked me once again then I swung down the other sword that I picked up and cut the left arm off of the hobgoblin it yelled and pain and brought its sword down at me. I moved out of the way, but the sword ended up cutting my leg a little.
I charged at the hobgoblin again with both swords it blocked one but the other contacted its head and sliced it down the middle it collapsed back finally dead. I put my sword away and found a scabbard for the sword that I had picked up and decided to keep it as well. I limped back outside after I got proof of killing the hobgoblin to see the Kureko was finishing up her fight with the goblin assassin. She was bruised and a little scratched up, but the assassin was on the ground and then she finished it off with her razor-sharp claws through its skull.
We got the proof that we did the assignment for the guild then Kureko and I collapsed on the ground sore, tired, and out of energy. Rena came up to us and told us we both did a good job and helped us treat our wounds. I can't believe a hobgoblin and a goblin assassin were both here she said. You both deserve a rest. Why don't you 2 relax for a while and I will keep watch. Kureko and I looked at each other and nodded and told Rena thank you.
I looked at “Kureko you did well what do you want for a reward?” Kureko looked at me shyly and looked down. “you can ask me for anything at all.”
Her face turned red and said weakly “kiss me like you do sister Rena”
I looked at Rena and she nodded. I brought her head up and looked her in the eyes “are you sure?” she nodded her head and I kissed her on the lips. She smiled shyly and looked down at the ground.
~Rena pov~
I am not jealous of Kureko she is my sister and I think I also have a crush on her. I love Fred but I also like girls, but I will never cheat on him the only people I will fool around with are Fred and the girls we pick together. I was just smiling to myself and did not hear at first what Kureko said.
~Fred pov~
Kureko looked up at me still with a red face. “Master, can I have one more reward?”
“Anything you want”
Kureko looked at Rena “sister will you also kiss me like you do master?”
That comment caught me off guard and my penis got hard and twitched. Rena looked at me and I nodded. Rena got closer to Kureko and kissed her on her lips. After they were done Rena looked at me and seen my bulge and laughed “you pervert” I laughed “any guy would get hard watching two beauties kiss.
Rena looked at me and said, “You must think I am the pervert now liking my own sex as well.” I laughed and hugged Rena “Not at all I think it is hot but let’s agree on the girls.” Rena agreed nodded her head.
We rested for a while and then we headed straight to the adventurer guild counter and told the receptionist about our task. She looked at Kureko and me and said “no wonder you both are so beat up I was worried that you all couldn't handle regular goblins but to think that there were a hobgoblin and a goblin assassin both there. To be blunt you all should be dead a hobgoblin and a goblin assassin are both a c class monster and you all are only f rank that just joined the guild. Let me go get your rewards she said with a smile.” She came back with 10 coppers for the goblins. I told her thank you and got ready to turn around and leave she yelled: “wait.” I turned around and” asked politely what?” She handed me another bag of coins and said “that it was not all of our rewards. She said the bag had 60 bronze coins in it for taking out 2 c rank monsters and asked for our guild cards as well.” We gave our cards to her and she handed it back a minute later with a smile and said, “congratulations on your promotion to e rank.” We told the receptionist thank you and left the guildhall. We went back to the inn because Kureko and I were still tired and sore.
When we got to the inn room, I counted the money that we made from this task and smiled. I took 3-coin bags out of my sack and put 20 bronze in each sack while Rena and Kureko were talking to each other. “Then I spoke up can you 2 come here for a minute?” They looked at me and came over to where I was.’
“What is it, master?”
“We made some good money from this task, right?”
They both looked at me and smiled and said yes. I kept talking. “I couldn't do this without you so please take this and buy whatever you all want.”
I handed each of them a money pouch. And said, “they are 20 bronze in each pouch.”
Rena took it and kissed me on the lips and said: “thank you but I don't deserve this much money you and sister Kureko the ones that took out the assassin and the hobgoblin.”
“I put my hand up to her mouth to shush her and said take it.” She did not say anything else and took the gold happily.
Kureko looked at the money pouch then at me. “Master, I am a slave and I can't take this money.”
I looked at her and said, “of course, you can you are the one that took out the goblin assassin, so it is only right that you get some of the rewards.”
“But master I am a slave what if I used this money to buy my freedom back?”
I looked at her and then at Rena and said with a smile” if you want to be freed from being a slave all you got to do is tell me and I will go with you to the slave merchant and free you.” This took her by surprise and started crying then she looked at me and then Rena in the eyes and shook her head and said: “no I think I found my family the place I belong.” Rena and I both kissed her on the lips and said: “we loved her, and she looked at us and said I love you both too.”
