My eyes shoot open as I jump slightly. I hold myself up using my elbows as I look around my room. I sighed and sat up resting my face in my hands as they sat upon my knees. I hear the front door slam downstairs and I stand up. Stomps can be head up the stairs and through to hall my door flies open as Chelsi stood there.
“Zeke Guerrero how dare you come back and not give me a goddamn call!!” I looked around then back at her she walked towards me and hugged me.
“What the hell happened to you?” She spoke now.
“Chels are you crying”
“No!” She pulled away quickly wiping her eyes I smile and look at her pulling her in for another hug. she hugged tightly then pulled away.
“Come on the rest of the gangs on their way.” I follow her down stairs where Alex was lying on the couch eating something.
“Morning Bro,” He said with a mouth full of food I waved and sat on the chair near him
The room was quiet between the three of us as the door flew open and one by one Gemma Ashton, Mia and Brandi came in. I looked at them and felt disappointed but a smile crept onto my face as Lindsey slowly walked in. She looked at me and stopped before taking a small step back.
“Zeke comes give me a hug,” Jemma said smiling and I gave everyone hug. I stood and looked at Lindsey who was the only one that I hadn't hugged yet.
“I..” I started to talk but stopped she sighed and looked down.

“I shouldn't have come,” She said quietly so quiet I barely heard her.
“Please don't go” She turned around and put her hand on the doorknob not moving.
“Lindsey”
“Zeke... I need to talk with you outside” she opened the door and walked outside leaving the door open for me. I walked outside and slowly shut the door behind us.
“I can't do this,” She said abruptly looking away.
“Please look at me” I whispered.
“Zeke… I..”
“Lindsey, please look at me” she snapped her head in my direction I took a step closer to her.
“You hate me because I left you… and the more I think about it I hate myself too”
“Zeke you can't just fix this by saying you hate yourself” she looked up at me.
“I lo… loved you and I… I hurt every time I see you” Her eyes start to water.
“I want to be able to hang out with you and the group but. I can't do it until I get all this off of my chest..” I sit down on the front step of the house and Lindsey sits down in front of me.
“You broke my heart when you left Zeke... I waited and waited but I couldn't stop crying every day after school I locked myself in my room. I waited because I love you!” she spoke quickly and stuttered a lot fighting back the tears.
“I still loved you”
“Then why won't you forgive me why to do..” She interrupted me by whispering softly.
“I.. don't….know...what to do..” She whispered I hid her face into her hands and she shook slightly. I slid off the step and slowly wrapped my arms around her. She tried shaking me off but I kept my arms tight around her. She slowly stopped and once she stopped shaking I let go of her and pulled away slowly.
“Lindsey you can hate me all you want but I will love you for a very long time and I will stop trying to…. I will stop trying if that will make you feel like you can be here with all our friends.” My voice shook even though I tried so hard not to let it shake. I stood up and held a hand out to her she took my hand and I helped her up. She was so close to me and all I wanted to do was kiss her.… but I couldn't I promised I wouldn't. I took a step back away from her away from her warmth.
“Would you like to go back inside?” She nodded and I walked to the door opening it letting Lindsey walk through it. I slowly step inside and follow her to the living room. Everyone looked at us questions covered their face. Lindsay just nodded and they all looked away back to the TV as if her single head shake erased their questions. I sat down next to Ashton as he gave me a weird look I sighed and ignored him as we watch wipe-out everyone silent.
“Let's go do laser tag,” Jemma said loudly everyone looked at her quickly.
“That sounds like a lot of fun,” Lindsey said with a small laugh. We all agree that laser tag would sound fun and get the group together. We all waited for the day that was coming up but it took so long for the tension between Lindsey and I grew harder and harder to bear with each passing day.
