Jack taking the time to calm down, and process the information looked around the Top of the tower. It being cleaned up, and reconfigured was nice though he could do without the banging from below. He had a million questions, but so little time. If what he had been told holds up. He would have plenty of time later, but for now just a few important questions. "I see. I'm going to be upset later, but for now I have a lot of questions. First what happens when the timer runs out?".
"When the timer ends you will be the Owner of the Area, and all monsters will be banished to the zone they came from. If there had been other humans, race changed or not, it would depend on if they were and invader themselves, or denizens of the area. If they are invaders same as the monsters, but only to adjacent Areas. If a denizen then they are just returned to their place of residence. The only time it's different is if the Owner of the Area, or Zone is challenged Directly. Then it's just a dual between the two. However, that requires for someone to reach the Area or Zone Marker.".
Checking the timer, and there only being a minute and thirty seconds left. "I would like to use my skills. Is there a way to get materials without scavenging, and the like?". It would take a Bee a few seconds to reply, but it had a tone of caution, "I can't say to much until the timer ends, but for a thousand system credits the system can provide you few pounds of various materials. Only near the Area Marker, or system stores. Those wont appear until the Area is claimed though. The system stores that is. I must say you should wait for this as area ownership comes with a few perks.". For a few seconds there was silence as the system timer ticked down, and the hounds banging away at he door. With a few scratches here and there. It was surprising that the door lasted this long. Especially with the Fwooshing sounds now added. Jack could only guess at it possibly being fire due to them being some type of Hell Hound.
"Okay, if that's the case. What else can I use System Credits for. I have a Skill named Skill Store. I know I can use it there, and I'm assuming The System store. There is nothing else.".
"System Credits can be used for a number of things. They are a Energy, and monetary system backed by the system itself. For your Current skills You could substitute materials for them if you had enough. You can get system help with blueprints, and when you Construct things with the system skills there will be a charge. Think of it as hiring an assistant, or contractor to do it for you. The more you do yourself the cheaper it is.", pausing for a second, and then continuing, "I can also tell you there are Auctions available to the Users. The system Opens them When enough Items are offered to it, or it Generates them itself.". Bee Turning to the Table causing it to switch to a Timer, "You will soon have one minute left. Prepare yourself for there are going to be a number of Notifications for you to get through afterwards. Also you should Level with this. This counts as a mission. The leveling experience from my understanding is... Addicting to say the least. The system tones it down, or it would be very very Painful. Debilitatingly so.".
The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.
The last part was concerning for jack as he had forgotten the level mentioned on his status. Bringing it up He saw the experience marker too.

looking to Bee, "How does Experience work? It's listed too.".
"Experience is a representation of a universal energy that exists in all things. The system labels it as such because you get it not just from killing, but from daily actions that apply to your Class or Job. You also get it for using your skills. Without the system your body, and all the other Users bodies were absorbing it slowly. Nowhere near enough to be useful, but based off of System scans. If a person Worked for forty years They likely make it to level Five if they were good at it. The ones who barely did anything would barely make level one. The system just facilitates, and offers much more for it than you would naturally get. That's why there is pain. Your stats can also be enhanced by system Credits, but it is ill advised to do so unless needed. I will explain more after the Timer, and you recover.". looking to the Timer it was by then on it's Final countdown.
