Prologue: Are We Equal?

Prologue: Are We Equal?

This is a sudden question, but are people equal? I tend not to believe in this ridiculous statement. The truth is we are not equal. No one is equal. Well, on second thought there is an age-old debate about nurture versus nature, in which mother nature has a say in our equality. However, even in nature, birth is not equal. Some may be born with a missing limb or blind, while some may be born as genius and tall. However unfair nature is, it is true that we are equal, all equally bad at birth. We all are weak and helpless, we are all full of potential but just that potential. Living life is where we will experience the true path of inequality. While some people will experience a cozy and healthy life, some will live in the cold eating scraps. The real question is, how do you grow your potential? Life is hard, life is easy, life is life. Everyone has bad days and everyone has good days. The potential is still the same, the truth is how do you grasp your potential? The man living an easy life will feel unfulfilled, and the man living a hard life will feel weak with hunger, we all have the opportunity to grow, and no one will meet that opportunity without help. That help can be summed up in a quote, “You must not be discouraged or let yourself become dejected if your actions have not succeeded as perfectly as you intended. What do you expect? We are made of clay and not every soil yields the fruits expected by the one who tills it. But let us always humble ourselves and acknowledge that we are nothing if we lack the Divine Assistance.” I am the divine assistance. I will make everyone equal. Either by flames or by love. The world will get to choose.
