I answered the door but it wasn’t Thelos and I knew this, because Thelos always did due diligence as to not disturb my peace.
“You are wanted at the Hall of Stones”
“I don’t even know where that is”
“I will show you,”
“And where is Thelos?”
“He is waiting, he has called upon you, Lord”
There was a gathering of many mages from all around Solarune, these mages, as was explained to me, are representatives from each kingdom and each direction.
I had taken a seat once I saw Thelos , a seat right beside him.
“Now can we get back to business?” Thelos had called out.
Thelos had not an aged face, but a face which saw in the past many brutalities, his hair was not as long as mine nor was it as dark as mine had always been.
“I have come to speak the truth of what has happened and to relay all the information and what I’ve saw firsthand by the likes of the Lords and Ladies of Light”

The Grandmaster Mage was an older woman, who said to Thelos: “You may now speak what has happened and be it true so you swear it”
“I swear it, “
“We must act before it is too late,” Thelos’s voice shook the council.
“It is time that what has done cannot be undone—” but we must not act out of anger”
“It is your time to speak, Lord”
“As you might already know, my father, The Thaman King—Zalvadore Blackheart is dead; slain by the Brightlord himself”
“I’d known the Brightlord and he was a trusted friend of my father, how he was capable of doing such a thing I might never know”
“I will avenge his death I swear this to Solar himself”
“And how might you do that?” One of the mages said out loud.
“You’re just a boy after all—”
“How must a man die—if not by the hands of justice” I spoke with clear confidence.
It had silenced any doubt as the mages thought it to quiet contemplation.
“But it is not an easy victory—we all know that the King held his power because of the Lords and Ladies of Light”
“Instead of usurping his crown they destroyed it,” Another had spoken, this time a woman who shared knowledge that nearly everyone knew, at least those who were considered to be mages.
“It is true but they had never worked for our benefit”
“We must decide upon a call to action” Said the northern mage.
“We cannot let others meet the fate that had fallen upon Thamos” The wise old grandmaster mage had said.
“This meeting is adjourned and until we meet once again you all must gather and hold strong to making sure something like this never once happens again”
