I did not know when but, in the middle of the night Antonio managed to go from across the freezer all the way to where I am. I stay their dumbfounded of how he made it across the room just to use my arm as an arm pillow. I simply slip out from the freezer while thinking I should be more careful at night. I still shudder at the thought that he might have done something to me while I slept. I turn on the stove to cook for Antonio and myself we start with the fresh meats and vegetables because, they rot faster. I make some BLTs (AN. Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato sandwich) that has mayonnaise and cheese. I made 6 BLTs which we will eat 2 each and save the last 2 for the road for myself. Antonio woke up groggy while shuffling out of the giant walk in freezer. I had a kitchen knife in my hand just in case he transformed into the monster. Luckily he is just really bad with the mornings.

No problem we also need to talk about gathering supplies. I was planning to go out by myself to search for more supplies to increase our chances of survival. While you in the meantime hold down our fort. (Daniel)

He was furious he must be really worried about my safety.

CALM DOWN! Do you want the infected to find us? I want you to stay here because, I trust you that you protect yourself and our supplies unlike some of the new recruits. So calm down you know what I have been through and know I am as tough to kill as a cockroach. (Daniel)

Oh wow I did not think a grown man can pout that good but, I have to hold my ground.

Ok I know you worry about me but, I have to do this we need to help our comrades that might be in trouble. (Daniel)

With that Antonio agreed to let me gather supplies by myself and with his help I was able to make it back inside the ventilation shaft while carrying my M9 (AN. 3 bullets), my bowie knife and Antonio military grade backpack that has extra food for myself. While crawled to through the ventilation shaft I went to the areas I did not mark with my knife. Each time I fast a grate I peered through it to see where I am. When I was planning on turning back I saw something shining through the grate. I looked closer and saw someone flashing a mirror through a window at first it was three quick flashes, then three long flashes, and then three quick flashes again. The person was trying to call for help with the emergency SOS light code. Quickly I peer through the grate and see three infected wearing military uniforms. I look inside the room and see that the doors are barricade with machinery and tables I decide to take my chances to attract more infected than fight three at of them at once again. I kick down the grate take aim and kill the three infected soldiers with head shots. I jump down onto the big machinery I crouch and look around the garage but, see no more movement. I take no chances and pull out my bowie knife. I jump down and walk over to the corpses search for anything useful. I patted all three of them down I only got a clip of ammo from the second infected and found nothing useful on the other two. I reload my M9 while walking to the small office in the garage. I peer inside the window that is covered in black blood to see a shivering figure of a lady. I walk to the office door and try to open the door but, it was locked. I decided to raid this place before I helped the poor lady.

7 minutes later

I found most of the things I wanted a tool box, duct tape, a hammer, a box full of nails, and lastly a sledgehammer. I put in everything I could fit inside Antonio back pack. The only thing I had in my hands was a sledgehammer and a tool box. I decided to try to coax the lady to come out now because, she might have calmed down by now. I walked over and peered inside the window she was still shacking like a leaf with her hands covering her ears but, she was doing better. I knocked on the window but, she shook even harder. I decided that there was only one option and I may get hurt in the process. I need to-

Bang Bang Bang

I abandoned that thought and smashed the window shattering it.

Hey stop being scared we need to leave now. (Daniel)

The red haired lady looked at with shocked eyes but, took a while to recover and nodded. She climbed through the window ripping her military uniform.

I bolted and started to climb the machine under the vent. I crawled through the vent slowly because, I had to push a tool box before I moved. After 13 minutes I saw the light from the mess hall gleaming through the vent. While a little tired i wondered how Antonio will react when I brought a new friend to our base.
