It seems that she’s worried about her family with deeper reasons.

Clarisse wasn’t just worried about her family; Shin rather felt a deep sense of regret coming from her.

He doesn’t know everything about Clarisse but her gentle yet outgoing personality made Shin liked her from the start. Her cheery attitude makes her approachable for everyone; even Tanya liked her ever since they met. And maybe because she was younger than Shin that it was easy to get along with her.

It might be coincidence or fate that allows them to meet but Shin was glad either way.

“Hey, Shin…” Clarisse continued with a low voice. “… What do you think of a person who would do anything for the things they wanted to do, even hurting the ones they love in the process?”

“Those kinds of people are idiots but that doesn’t mean they are necessary wrong. Sometimes what made them idiots is that they tend to make reckless decision based on what they feel. Yet at the same time, what made them right is that when they know that they are right, they follow through it no matter what.”

When they both stood up, Clarisse tripped over something and began to fall. But before she did, Shin was quick to respond and catches her with both his hands.
