Chapter 1.0 (Harry Sakami Arc)

Chapter 1.0 (Harry Sakami Arc)

Two weeks have passed, and the tramuatic incident that transpired in our unsuspecting village is just starting to fade away into the back of our minds. People are finally travelling the streets without looking over their shoulders. All four of the suspects remain at large, with the bounty now raised to 50,000 Gold each. As of the first bounty announcements, several sightings have been reported, but nothing has yet yielded results. Almost as if they disappeared into thin air, similarly to our holy creators so long ago. Where could they be hiding? Will they ever be found, or continue to elude our kingdom? Or is there something bigger to this than we realize? With such an amazing feat, many are starting to wonder if their disappearance has something to do with our Hobogoblin enemies in an attempt to gain traction in the war by diverting our attention. As this belief strengthens, it's only a matter of time before the bounty is increased ten fold by the Church of Winter to avoid mass pandemonium for four deadly traitors. In other news----

"Tsk, is everything going to be for that stupid ass war? I can't believe people actually believe this crap!" Bane Nomura wadded up newsletter he was reading and threw it across the table at the small group around him.

"It is what it is." Harry Sakami sighed, deflecting the wad of paper with his hand. "To make people believe in something useless the church has to do all they can to make my brethren look evil. We're the only ones to know this information for now, and no saying anything to her especially when we meet her this week. We can't have anyone knowing where she's from and trying to get the bounty. Understand?"

His heavy-lided, completely blacked out eyes, scanned the table. He had to make sure they understood just how crucial this was.

M.K, Silica and Erika Katsu, were seated on his left. The pink haired Pegasus Katsu sisters nodded at him once, each sharing a similar smirk that many of their family members carried.

M.K, the Formless Shapeshifter, uncaring as ever, kept his head turned and rested on his hand. Raising a finger from the table, Harry knew he was at least listening.

On Harry's right, Mako Shibuya and Kanto Narita sat. Mako kept his eyes trained on his lap, but the two white fluffy ears coming from his head twitched as they took in everything.

Kanto, wearing his usual ballroom mask over his eyes to completely hide them, gave Harry a simple thumbs up.

Harry finally moved to the last one, seated across from him. The boy he had to worry about the most. Bane Nomura gave him a smirk, his reddish-yellow eyes gleaming.

A flighty feeling came in Harry's chest. He knew immediately what that meant. What that boy was thinking.

"Bane, I know that smirk anywhere. If you don't stop---"

"Alright, Alright, mother. You won't have to worry about a thing." Bane leaned back in his chair, resting his boots on the table.

Harry tried his hardest to resist climbing over the table and yanking them off. Really, when would he ever learn any manners?!

"I can read a face too you know." Harry jumped at Bane's sudden statement. Keeping his eyes fixed on Harry's, his smirk changed into a confident grin.

"Don't worry, Iris won't have to worry about anything when she's around me. She can even stay in my room! I know I have a small bed," Bane tapped his chin in thought, "but we can always spoon to make room."

"BANE---"

Harry, along with the rest of the table, looked at a laughing Bane in horror. This was why he had to worry.

A boy who never took anything seriously. One that already decided he hated Iris with a passion. Two sisters that were too loud for their own good. And two boys that were to quiet for comfort.

Harry had to do everything in his power to make sure their headmaster made the right choice in the eyes of their own church. Make sure that Iris was safe. And that his own anger didn't jeopardize any of it.
