Huh, despite that, the forest is really beautiful. It almost looks like a jungle, but the trees look so weird. Some are purple, blue, and peached colored. There's also a lot of sounds. Chirping, howls, even some galloping. There's some very strange animals too. A deer that has the tail and spine of a lizard. The front legs look more like that of a wolve's. What a strange creature. The 'Vike' crouched as if ready to pounce. I stood my ground and covered the eggs. I closed my eyes and waited for the finishing strike. It never came. Instead, a looming shadow hovered over me with the Vike in its mouth. I suddenly felt exceptionally nauseous. Must've been from all that's happened today. I hope I don't die. I fell onto the nests floor and the darkness surrounded me.
I slowly open my eyes. Have I died yet? I hear rustling right next to me. Something is touching me. What is this. It feels kind of soft. I fully open my eyes to see some newly born hatchlings. Ehh! Are these my siblings!? I missed their hatching! Well, at least their alive. I wonder what happened to the 'Vike'. Looked kind of dangerous. Something hard nudges against me. I look. A gigantic bird looking at me with eyes full of worry. I instinctively knew that this was my mother. She mustve been the one to save me from the Vike. Thank goodness she got here in time.
I look around. I have two siblings. Both are boys. Heh, guess I'm going to be the only girl between us. Oh well. I look up. It's really nice. The sun is setting. Well, time to go to sleep.
