The dense forest grew thicker in front of him as he pulls his paws forwards. He was getting hungry but he was in no mood to hunt. A rustling in the undergrowth made him prick up his ears. He slowed down and lowered himself to the ground.
Smack!
Howler went tumbling to the side into the undergrowth himself only to leap out and meet his foe in mid air. They fell to the ground where Howler cried out in surprise,
“Hunter!” Howler ran to Hunter and nustled his nose under her chin. Hunter gave a laugh, “You were gone. I thought you have been captured.”

“Me? Captured?” She drew her claws and Howler fell back in surprise, when a flash of black and orange jumped out and knocked Hunter to the ground.
“Anyone can be when their off guard,” Hider smiled and Hunter started to purr.
“Hider!” Howler cried jumping up and nuzzling his nose.
“We thought you really were gone.” Hunter remarked.
“I was but I followed you onto the boat. I saw you run under the barrier but I couldn’t follow you so I ran into the kitchen where I ended up in a plate of salad.”
“I bet they got a surprise!” Howler nuzzed him tighter,
“Where are we?”
“No idea.” Howler turns to watch the setting sun.
“At least we’re together.”
