As soon as I read the text I saw a star button hovering in the corner of my eyesight after telling my mom not to worry I went to kitchen to eat something and after making breakfast I started focussing on that star sign. All of these texts were glowing in white light and I focussed on property owned I got a birds eve view of my house which was coloured green and rest was dyed blue and outside city was all red probably meaning wilderness.

I selected my home and got a notification saying awarded permanent residence for being in top 100 to upgrade status.

And after that I got a prompt asking to name my house so I named it “T’s crib” and confirmed it after confirming our whole house was filled with colourful lights and I got a prompt saying that “house has been modernized”.

I was surprised as I was watched the whole house changing in front of my eyes the whole interior changing resembling medieval times lanterns burning , chandeliers hanging and wooden doors with iron works on it .I heard my mom shout calling for help so I ran towards my mother and tried to soothe her .

After some soothing she calmed down and I told her that this property was assigned to me and was upgraded as soon as I accepted it and no one other than me or someone designated by me can enter this home. Then I started designating my brother Johnny and my mother as residents so that they can come and go as they please in other rooms.

I also got info about how everything works so I explained it to them

“Everything works on primordial energy apparently the solar power converter and water purifier that I bought over was consumed during the upgrade so now we have a free and unlimited access to water and light. The kitchen and bathrooms are all same but the rest of the house has been changed. The changes are just for ambience and don’t affect our daily lives so no need to worry.

Apparently we also have been awarded with a basement in the name of training grounds which will spawn unlimited amount of training dummies. As the owner of this house I also have the rights to hire 10 people either for management or for my personal army. So how about any posts you want?”

My brother started saying that he wants to be the prince of this house. As soon I heard that I started laughing loudly which ticked my bro off and he tackled me to the ground so I put up his name up for the young lord of the house, my mother’s name for the head chef, and Johnny’s for captain after some discussion.

After doing so I got another option regarding their salaries which can be given from the treasury which had an initial amount of 100 red stones or 1 orange stone. They follow the rainbow colours pattern VIBGYOR so basically the next currency is 100 times of earlier currency

After some reading I realized that I can assign some salaries to them. These are not normal stone but stones that contain concentrated primordial energy. Violet has the most and red the least amount of energy. Since I didn’t have any ways to earn those stones back I didn’t give them any salaries.

I knew that starting from next week the boundary will start decreasing and since our locality is in the outer most part of the city we will lose our homes if we don’t fight. I discussed with Johnny about this issue and he gave me a good idea to train for the next week and get strong and start hunting animals when they start coming.

So I called my brother and my mother told them about my plans and she was against it telling me that there will be no need for fighting as government will take care of us and I scoffed reminding her about what happened with dad. She just stared at me wide eyed after I mentioned dad and told me to do whatever I see fit. I knew that I had hurt her reminding her of dad but I knew that it was going to be cruel in the future and it was for her own benefit.

I went outside the house darting my eyes in every direction carefully towards the building which was under construction just a few 100 mets. Away from my home and took the wheel barrow which was present there and transferred some bricks in there and hurried towards my home. The streets were all deserted and there was no one to catch me so I hurried towards my home. It all took 15-20 min. To get all this done. I dropped off the bricks and repeated the process twice to gather large amount of bricks. My aim to gather enough bricks to use them as weights for our training.

I called for Johnny and my bro.

I “help me carry these bricks downstairs in training room”

Johnny “sure” and my bro also nodded.

After seeing him nod I ask him” bro who do you think are strongest herbivore or carnivore?”

 Tom “of course carnivore”

I grinned and said” wrong it’s omnivore those fucking bastards can eat everything “

Tom “but...”

Me” life never gives you an option you have to fight for it you have to decide what you want to be herbivore i.e. who depends on everyone around him to survive,  carnivore like those bastards from morning and govt. who hunt for herbivores or omnivores who reign supreme and are unafraid of both.”

After listening to my words realization struck him and he said

“I understand bro I don’t want to get bullied”

I smiled listening to him and Johnny was also surprised

Johnny” looks like genius blood is flowing in both your veins fuck I am getting complex just by being near you guys.”

We brought all the bricks downstairs in the basement I asked tom to get lots of water and some towels. In the meantime I undressed until I was in my shorts and started warming up by doing some squats and some jumping.

Johnny also repeated after me we did some stretching after tom came and undressed. After we had warmed up we started stacking some bricks and carried them on our back while running in circles inside the training room. Don’t think that our room was small apparently it took underground area from nearby houses too to create this basement or it may be a fixed space diff. From this world to which only we had access to I don’t know there are multiple possibilities. Not that it matters now.

After some exercise our hands started hurting and so we drank off some water and started doing stretching again. We repeated these exercises and then sat down to meditate.

I taught both of them how to meditate it was really hard for Johnny to concentrate. Apparently the younger the person is it’s easier to concentrate to drive away restless thoughts. This time after I started meditating I could feel large amount of energy as compared to upstairs and as soon as I thought about it I got some text prompt.
