“Gruuoo…”

A giant shadow fell over the Spear Master. The cause of the shadow growled, with saliva dripping from its mouth.

The Spear Master, as time passed, was shocked beyond anything. He looked towards the creature in front of him he thought he has killed.

What stood in front of him was a giant, grotesque looking chimera. Composed of different body parts related to every species of Grandia, the creature is now emitting an aura far different from before.

“What kind of thing is that? The energy he is emitting now is different.”

The composed yet arrogant energy the NPC was emitting hours ago was nowhere to be found. The energy now felt like that of a berserker that has lost all his reasons.

“He has lost all the reasons. It was a pain in the ass before, but now…”

He felt confident, confident that now he can beat him.

“He is now nothing but an animal who has lost its reason. A good way to kill him now.”

Just as he was about to swing his sword at the chimera, a tentacle from behind the back of the chimera struck the Spear Master.

The Spear Master crashed at a nearby pile of corpse at a tremendous speed. The corpse spread out like a rag doll.

He questioned,Whether or not I defeat him but nobody answered back. The Spear Master then reluctantly got up as he again took a stance.

“I have nothing to lose now. My avatar, my experience and everything will be gone after this. Whether I defeat him or not doesn’t matter…”

He then dashed towards the NPC, with his sword glowing more fiercely.

“I am gonna kill this bitch!!”

The chimera, noticing the Spear Master approaching him, tried to attack him with its tentacles but the Spear Master swiftly dodged them. Noticing this, the chimera then tried to fire various magical skills, but the Spear Master slashed them down.

“You think you can defeat me with magic? You are just a beast now. If it were the NPC we fought, then I would be dead by now.”

He then slashed down the tentacles in one slash, causing the chimera to roar in agony.

“Cry, you damn fuck. The entire world is turned upside down because of you!!”

The Spear Master then continued to slash and stab at the vital points of the chimera, causing the chimera to roar even more. The sky reverberated, and the earth shook in his cry, but the Spear Master continued his barrage of attacks.

The Spear Master looked more like a devil than the chimera as he continued to butcher every part of the chimera while bathing in his blood. His eyes glowed even more. His sword reverberated with his will as the sword emitted even more light than before.

With a cry of frustration, he cut through the legs of the chimera, causing the massive creature to fall. The earth shook violently, causing cracks to appear.

The cloud of dispersed, revealing a vast body and top of it, a figure holding a sword.

The body of the chimera reverted to that of the NPC. Soon after, the body started to dissipate, gesturing that the Spear Master has finally defeated the NPC.

The Spear Master, on the other hand, looked devastated. From head to toe, he was covered in blood and dust. He exhaled heavily, but a big smile was stamped on his face.

“I…did…it. Finally!!”

The taste of victory overjoyed him as he looked towards the body of the NPC, only to shudder in fear.

The eyes of the NPC, bloodshot, were looking at him. Even though he is disappearing, the look he gave still gave chills to the Spear Master.

“Rejoice Spear Master!! But remember…”

He tried to stand up, but stumbled heavily because of his core being shattered.

“You may have defeated me, but…”

He then tried to use a magic skill, alerting the Spear Master. The Spear Master who, out of relief, let his body loose, again tried to rush towards the NPC. But his body gave him up. He fell on the face, but still tried to run towards the NPC.

“I… will return!! Then I will destroy this as well as your world.”

An orb of light then escaped the hand of the NPC as it shot towards the sky.

“No!!!”

The Spear Master shouted at the top of his lungs as he then tried to wield the sword. But soon, the sword disappeared and the Supreme Goddess and the Spear Master unfused.

The Spear Master looked devastated as he saw the goddess lying down next to him. Even she looked haggard, as her face and her clothes looked the same as the Spear Master.

His spear then appeared in his hand.

I have to stop him.

That’s what came into Spear Master’s mind as he pushed his body to the very limit. He ran towards the NPC while activating the ultimate he hadn’t used.

“Why… don’t you… die!!”

He shouted as he approached the NPC. His body glowed with the Spear, signaling the deployment of the Ultimate.

“Ultimate: Divine destruction!!”

The Spear Master then emitted a dark red light, which then formed a colossal figure above him. The figure looked like it controlled the Spear Master. The Spear Master, according to the instruction of the figure, then thrust his spear, pointing at the throat of the NPC.

The NPC, looking at this, grinned.

“You are too late.”

The ball of light which was high in the sky divided into 3 parts. The Spear Master, looking at the sky, became enraged.

“Haaaaahhhh….”

He shouted at the top of his lungs as he then plunged his spear into the NPC’s throat.

Puck

The NPC, attacked by the ultimate of the Spear Master, never moved. He only looked into the eyes of the Spear Master as he slowly dissipated.

“Remember… I will return!!”

The body of the NPC finally disappeared, leaving only the Spear Master behind.
