POV Change - Damon Jaeger
Damon looked at his new boss, no, the new princess he had to protect and couldn't help but admire her beauty as she stared at him.
His instincts screamed that he was standing in front of a beautiful being and he should kneel. Damon agreed with the first part but the second part was slightly annoying but Damon shrugged it off, not caring for what his instincts have to say in all honesty.
Her body looked more bountiful than before like she'd matured quite a bit. She gave off a youthful and mature aura, it was quite a contrast and despite Damon's indifference for the opposite sex, he knew it was still an objective fact that she was a beautiful girl.
Mika's eyes flashed a bright red as she looked into Damon's calm eyes. After a while, Damon noticed her slight fear and stiff body and had to suppress a smile.
'Looks like she saw what I look like under all this indifference. Gotta give it to her, she's the first one to do so without me opening up first. Welp, as expected from my Princess.'
The last part of what he thought was kind of slipped in there by his instincts but he didn't really mind, they were his and not someone else's so he'd go with them for now.
Damon stepped forward with a slight smile that seemed gentle and kneeled down on the ground before speaking with loyalty in his voice.
"Your loyal bodyguard is here, Mika-sama." Damon's voice was calm and steady, just like his expression. He saw that Mika seemed to shake a little bit and entered some sort of daze as she looked at him.
A light cough came from behind Damon, he turned to see the worried gaze of the black-haired girl from before looking at Mika.
Mika, hearing the cough, snapped herself out of her stupor and looked at Damon before speaking.
"It's about time, Damon. I was expecting you earlier." Mika's voice was cold but gentle at the same time, the contrast intrigued Damon but he replied instantly despite his intrigue. "I apologize, Mika-sama."
Mika waved her hand, dismissing his 'worry' and accepting his apology. After doing this, Mika took off her glasses and stood up and walked toward Damon. Damon saw that she'd grown an inch compared to what he knew from the file, so her tall figure at 6'1" looked down at his kneeling figure and spoke.
"Damon, do you wish to become my sword? My weapon to kill all those who I want dead?" Mika's voice was quiet but the seriousness seemed to make it as loud as a gunshot in the room.
Mika placed her hand on his hair and seemed to ruffle it about, Damon grinned not entirely disliking the feeling.
"You had me at one word, Mika-sama. I'll become your weapon as long as you keep your side of the bargain." Damon's face looked indifferent for the start of what he said but as he carried on, it twisted into a look of mania.
Mika seemed prepared for this reaction but she still looked a bit fearful that her new bodyguard seemed so...unstable at times.
"If you're to be my weapon, I need to know how good of a weapon you are. Hikari!" Mika called out to the black-haired girl, or Hikari as Damon now knew her as. Hikari stood as straight as an arrow as she did some sort of weird salute that Damon recognized as the salute toward Vampire royalty.
'Need to learn how to properly do that, later.'
Hikari stepped forward after her salute. "Yes, Mika-sama?" her voice was dripping with loyalty like she'd die for Mika.
"Let us go and take Damon to the training ground so we can see his strength. You'll be battling him, so get ready." Mika's voice left no room for arguments, not that Hikari or Damon would. Hikari because of her loyalty, Damon because he didn't really care and because the mention of a fight made his calm blood boil a little.
Damon stood up and followed behind the tall princess and the small guard find the contrast funny.
'Isn't it supposed to be the other way around?~'
They went outside to the back garden which was massive in size and saw a platform in the very middle of it. The platform was about 20m by 20m and was elevated about a meter off the ground.
Damon walked toward the platform and jumped onto it, walking to one of the sides and waiting there. Hikari, however, walked over with Mika, while holding an umbrella over the pale princess' head. The wind blew Mika's hair up a little bit and Damon looked curiously at her as he saw her pointed ears.
Seeing him look, Mika slightly smiled and her hair weirdly covered her ears again despite the wind still blowing in her direction. She then took the umbrella off of Hikari and told her to get ready.
Hikari did as Mika asked and took off her dress to show a white bodysuit underneath that looked like the mixture of Armor and a Swimming Suit. But before Damon's eyes, the suit grew and covered her arms and legs and then her hands and feet in the weird white material.
Red veins ran throughout the suit after it covered her entire body over than her head, glowing and moving with power.
Hikari jumped onto the opposite end of the platform to Damon and looked at him before bowing and speaking. "Hikari Tepes on the Secundi Family, may the Blood watch over you." her voice was calm and surprisingly respectful.
'The Blood? Oh right, the God of the Vampire religion which is pretty much Vampire Christianity. And she's from the warrior Secundi Family? This might actually be fun. Maybe.'
The Secundi family are the Vampire's Army Family which produce the best soldiers, while the Primis Family are the Royals like Mika. There's a third and fourth family but those didn't really matter right now.

Damon returned her respect with a bow.
"Damon Jaeger, I do not have a special family, may the Blood watch over you." his voice was calm but Hikari and Mika could hear the slight excitement underneath it, just waiting to burst out.
The air went tense for a few seconds before Hikari blasted off from where she was standing. The red veins glowing even fiercer than before. They seemed to be powering and enhancing her movements and strength with magic.
Hikari appeared in front of Damon like she teleported and slammed her fist into Damon's gut. Her elation at proving herself in front of Mika hiding the fact that Damon's steel like abs didn't budge even a little.
"If you wish to be Mika-sama's weapon, you must be stronger than this." Hikari's slightly smug voice spoke out but it soon followed by Mika's calm voice. "Hikari, I would back away if I were you."
Before she could ask why Mika had said that, Hikari's instincts went wild and she threw herself back and looked at Damon who's head was just looking at the ground. She saw that he'd lifted his head and was smiling slightly.
"Is that all you got? I think you're the one who needs to get a bit stronger if you wish to help Mika-sama." Damon's indifferent voice contrasted weirdly with his manic smile, it seemed like he was speaking to something he didn't care about in the slightest, not even as a human.
Suddenly, Damon appeared in front of Hikari with his fist arched back and his feet spread wide.
Before she could even react to his presence and speed, Damon threw his fist like a bullet at Hikari's head while holding nothing back. The black-haired girl went pale as she saw the big fist get even bigger and bigger in her view.
It took everything she had to duck under the punch and throw a counter at Damon's throat.
The air whipped around from the lightning fast counter but Damon just moved his body to the side and the fist harmless flew past his face, the air only ruffling his hair a little.
Now that she could see his eyes up close, Hikari's heart was seized by fear. Damon's eyes didn't look like a Humans, they looked like a predator's when they looked at prey; something purely for them to enjoy and mess around with as they please.
She didn't get much time to think, however, as Damon had already whipped his leg around and was attempting to snap her neck with it.
The kick's everything was full of killing intent. It was brutal, ruthless and had no mercy, it was the perfect killing kick. Hikari couldn't even begin to think about how many mental problems this new co-worker of hers had, but right now she'd truly been pushed up against the ropes and couldn't do anything because of his killing blows.
This fight carried on for a while, with Damon easily blocking or dodging any of Hikari's attacks while returning the favor and constantly trying to kill her with his attacks. This stalemate continued until Damon finally spoke up.
"This is getting slightly boring, I'm gonna take it up a level. Try not to die, I don't want Mika-sama firing me on the first day." Damon's voice was unlike his usual indifferent one, it now rang out with sadistic glee and excitement.
Hikari tried to escape from his range when he said that but before she could, Damon sent a heavy but fast kick to the front of her knee completely snapping it in the wrong direction.
"Arghhh! You bastard!" Hikari couldn't help but yell in pain from Damon's kick and went to lash out at him with magic but realized she could no longer see him in front of her. She suddenly felt a tap on her shoulder and she turned around and threw a blood red fireball but she hit nothing before feeling an iron-like grip on the back of her neck.
"You really are fun to mess around with. Stuff like this helps to make this boring world a bit more bearable." Damon's voice was right next to her ear as she felt herself being lifted off the ground.
'Coincidently' they were facing Mika as Damon showed Hikari how powerless she was in front of him. His Ghoul side was relishing in the sadistic acts, his Werewolf side was loving him displaying his position as the Alpha. There was only one last side to please, Damon slowly tightened his grip around Hikari's neck causing cracking sounds and screams to reverberate around the garden--
"Let her go, Damon." Mika's calm voice spoke out causing Damon's glowing and mania-filled yellow eyes to snap towards her direction and met with her calm red eyes. Sparks seemed to fly between them but eventually, Damon dropped Hikari to the ground and put his hands up in surrender.
"Hah~ It was only a joke, Mika-sama, don't worry." Damon's face lost it's twisted look and slipped back into his usual indifferent mask.
Mika looked at him and shook her head slightly. "Okay, whatever you say but at least carry her inside so we can heal her. You seem to have damaged her neck a bit." Mika's voice was cold and had a reprimanding tone.
Damon shrugged and leaned over to pick up the short, black-haired girl before holding her in a princess carry. He walked over to Mika before both of them walked back to the house and Mika decided to have some lunch.
She asked Damon if he wished for any food. He nodded his head and asked for some blood to the shock of Mika.
"Blood? You're not a Vampire are you?" Mika's voice was still calm but at the thought that she'd found someone like her caused her voice to be slightly shaky.
The reason she didn't know he drank blood was that unlike Damon who received a file of information on Mika, Mika didn't receive any information about Damon apart from the fact that he was a Hybrid who would be loyal to her which was all she needed to know at the time.
"No, but I am part-Ghoul, Mika-sama." Damon said in a nonchalant manner as they continued to walk into the house where Mika abandoned her umbrella before leading Damon to the dining room. She seemed to have a slight skip in her step as she walked which Damon found cute, in his own kind of uncaring way where he barely cracked a smile at her cute actions.
Soon they entered a massive dining room where Mika called for some blood to be delivered. Damon stood awkwardly holding Hikari before he finally spoke up.
"Mika-sama, where should I put Hikari-san?" His calm voice brought Mika out of her daydreams and she turned to him and gave him a quick answer.
"Just feed her some blood, it should empower her Vampire Body into healing itself and then put her on the chair next to me." Mika said in a matter-of-fact tone as she sat down at the head of the table. As soon as she did that, Maids with all kinds of different hair colors came into the room.
Damon thought it made sense, Vampires had some pretty weird hair colors back in the day. Green, Blue, Red, and even Pink, some of these being even more common than Black and Brown.
They placed 3 glasses on the table with 3 blood bags next to each of them.
Damon decided to feed Hikari as soon as he could. It wasn't because he was tiring from carrying her; she was pretty much weightless in his arms. No, it's because he couldn't be bothered to carry her anymore.
He emptied one of the blood bags into a glass and brought it to Hikari's lips slightly parting them with the glass and pouring it into her mouth. As soon as the blood hit her throat her eyes snapped open and she grabbed the glass off of Damon and guzzled down the blood like some kind of glutton.
But unlike Damon who was an actual glutton, she didn't seem to enjoy the taste. It was kind of like medicine for her; she needed to take it but it tasted like shit to her.
Damon put her down on the seat, her neck seeming to be much better than before as she could sit upright and move now.
Damon walked around to the opposite side of Mika compared to Hikari who was on her left and sat down. He licked his lips and emptied a blood bag into his glass before waiting for Mika to do the same.
She soon did and they both lifted their glasses to one another before Mika spoke.
"Here's to you, Damon Jaeger, my glorious weapon." Mika clinked her glass with Damon's and they both downed their drinks.
This was the start of the Third Princesses rise, her rise with her ever faithful bodyguard and her personal killer.
