After satisfying Lily’s demands, Ryner went back to the inn to sleep. The sun would soon rise in half an hour and he needed some rest since he planned on leaving in the morning. He shut his eyes and prepared himself for the usual scenes, but his nightmares felt different tonight.
The men in white coats were surrounding him as they showered him with praise. ‘You are a success!’
You shouldn’t let them live.
A voice resounded in his ears as more and more of his enemies and friends showed up.
The other kids in that facility were sadly staring at him while covered in their own blood. ‘Why did you have to survive?’
Kill them.
His first two friends were blaming him. ‘You killed us!’
Make them disappear.
His first disciple stabbed him in the back. ‘Thanks for making me famous.’
Never forgive.
His team left him for dead. ‘Make sure to protect us, Ryner! Hyahahaha!’
They deserve death.
Kill them.
Kill them all.
Crush them.
Strangle them.
Burn them.
Drown them.
Butcher them
Destroy them.
Kill. Kill. Kill! Kill! KILL! KILL! KILL!
KILL EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM!!!
“ALICE!” [Ryner]
The moment he angrily shouted out, everything around him became pitch black and silent.
“Still having the same wonderful dreams as always, huh Ryner?” [Alice]
A woman’s voice resounded all around him.
“So you recovered enough to mess with other people’ nightmares, huh.” [Ryner]
Ryner talked to her in a serious voice and with sharp eyes, all traces of the sleepy and casual man disappeared.
“And you are wasting your time as usual. Though it’s just a small bit, you actually used your life force, and within a few days of coming here.” [Alice]
His enemy responded in a mocking tone, knowing full well what he did.
“What are you doing here? Don’t tell me you want to fight again so soon?” [Ryner]
Ryner ignored her and change the subject, trying to find out why she showed up before him.
“I just came to say hello and to take a look at this world. It sure has changed.” [Alice]
“You came here before?” [Ryner]
Her casual answer made him wary. After all, she wouldn’t show any interest in a world unless it gave her an advantage in their fight.
“You don’t know? Well, that’ll make things interesting... See you later, Ryner.” [Alice]
Hearing her chuckling to herself, he wanted to ask what she meant by that, but he suddenly woke up in his bed. Morning arrived and Alice had already gone back to whichever dimension she came from. Since he couldn’t figure out her motives no matter how hard he thought, he put what happened in the back of his mind and went to the bathroom, loosening his expression back to a sleepy one. Going downstairs and finding himself a table, he was greeted by Trish who brought him his breakfast.
“Morning! Today’s the day, right?” [Trish]
She asked with a smile since Ryner had told her about his departure already.
“Morning Trish. Yeah and by the way, why didn’t you tell me about the ruins?” [Ryner]
“… You didn’t know?” [Trish]
Apparently she thought he knew about those, even if he lacked so much common knowledge. Ryner just stared at her surprised expression for a bit before silently eating his breakfast.
“Oh right, Ryner, I have a gift for you! It’ll definitely help someone as clueless as you!” [Trish]
“Why are you insulting me with such a dazzling smile on your face?” [Ryner]
As if on cue, Trish’s father appeared next to the table, placed a book on it, gave Ryner a thumb’s up with a grunt before leaving for the kitchen.
“Thanks dad! Here you go Ryner!” [Trish]
“Seriously, that is one capable inn master, and what is this?” [Ryner]
Taking the book that Trish handed to him, he looked at the brown cover that had no words written on them.
“It’s a history book. Since I won’t be there to answer your questions anymore, this will be your new guide. You do know how to read, right?” [Trish]
“Of course I do. I’m not that ignorant.” [Ryner]
Opening the book and looking at the content, he checked that he could understand the words before answering her.
“(It’s really great that I know this world’s language.)” [Ryner]
He gobbled down his breakfast and stood up from his seat with the book in his hand.
“Thanks for the book and the service, kid. My stay at the inn was great.” [Ryner]
“Your welcome, but why are you calling me kid? I’m older than you, you know?” [Trish]
She frowned a bit, displeased at being called a kid by someone younger than her.
“Technically, I’m twenty years old.” [Ryner]
“You’re older than me?! No way!” [Trish]
However, the reality was that Ryner was older than her since she was eighteen. She always thought he was younger because of how ignorant he was of the world. She quickly approached him and pulled his cheeks, stretching his face into a weird expression.
“… Whad are dou doing?” [Ryner]
“This is for good luck on your travels!” [Trish]
Although she said that, her face showed that she was displeased. She was merely venting her anger at being younger than this sleepy-looking idiot. After a few seconds, she finally calmed down and showed him a brilliant smile, but she was still stretching his face.
“Feel free to come back to the Sleeping Duck anytime, toilet man!” [Trish]
After saying his farewells, he left the inn while rubbing his cheeks. Reaching the gates of the city, he looked up to the sky before walking again.
“(Hopefully the next trouble won’t be too troublesome. I’d really like some simple bandits.)” [Ryner]
----------------------------------------
In the castle, the royal family had just finished eating breakfast together in a large dining room.
“He’s probably left by now.” [Adrian]
“You’re right. I wonder when we’ll see him again.” [Clara]
The king and queen both voiced out their thoughts and looked out the window. Leila and Tiffany also looked at the sky like their parents and thought about Ryner. While Leila was thinking about her vow to defeat him, Tiffany thought about the time he saved her. Although everything was hazy, her consciousness returned for a brief instant at one point during her kidnapping. She could feel someone holding onto her as her hair was brushed to the side. When she opened her eyes, the assassins were gone and he was there. With his arms around her body, she felt safe and closed her eyes again, falling asleep while feeling his warmth.
“(It’s alright.)” [Tiffany]
She thought to herself as a small smile spilled from her mouth. Her cheeks were blushing a bit from remembering that moment.
“(We’ll definitely meet again.)” [Tiffany]
----------------------------------------
Ten days later, Ryner was travelling to the Elea kingdom under the bright sun, walking on a beaten road with forests on both sides. He was leisurely making his way there on foot to relax after his fight with the giant tree creature. Although he wanted to have a fun vacation, he couldn’t forget his main objective for coming here. As such, nothing eventful happened, but he was bound to encounter trouble. A while later, he saw some figures in the distance. As he got closer, he managed to see them clearer and it caused him to stop walking. Bandits were in front of him, just like he wanted before he left Sakael, but he wasn’t pleased at all. There were ten men, all armed with daggers or swords and some of them were wearing worn down armor. They didn’t notice Ryner because they were all looking at what was happening in the middle of their group with impatient and lustful eyes. A woman was being raped by three of them as she glared at her assailants with hatred and fear while crying.
The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
As disgust and bloodlust welled up inside him, he forgot his initial objective and used his life force to strengthen his body, charging at them with blinding speed. The ground cracked at his every step and he sent the four bandits that were in front of him flying, holding back so that they wouldn’t die from the impact. The whole group stopped and dumbly looked towards this stranger that suddenly appeared in their midst. Before anyone could do or say anything, Ryner grabbed the rapists by their necks and pulled them away from the woman. Taking a quick look, her body as well as her face had some bruises and she had fainted.
“What the! Where the hell did you-!” [Random bandit]
One of the bandits pulled out his sword and lunged at him, but Ryner wasn’t messing around at all. He grabbed the blade with his bare hand and crushed it. The attacker looked at his broken sword with a stunned expression. Those that were about to pull out their weapons to kill this bastard also stopped in their tracks and the next scene froze them with fear. Ryner grabbed the man’s right arm and bended his elbow in the opposite direction with a loud crunching noise.
“AAAAAARRRGH!!!” [Random bandit]
As the bandit fell to his knees, he grabbed his hand and twisted it in a full rotation.
“WAAAAAAAAHH!!!” [Random bandit]
Afterwards, he broke all of his fingers at the same time by completely pulling them backwards.
“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!” [Random bandit]
The victim’s screams of pain were turning into cries of anguish as the grown man began crying. Ignoring him, Ryner grabbed his other arm while wearing an expressionless face.
“W-wait! Wait wait wait! Please wa-AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!” [Random bandit]
Although he tearfully pleaded, his arm was pulled upwards with great force and the shoulder’s joint snapped. He then made the man scream and cry a few more times as he broke his elbow, wrist and fingers, all while ignoring his incessant begging.
“Spare me *sob* please spare *sob* Please spare me *sob*” [Random bandit]
After turning him into a crying mess with strangely shaped arms, Ryner let him go and looked around him. No one had dared make a move during such a display of violence, but they were all shaking with terror on their faces. Some of them even had tears in their eyes after hearing the dreadful cries of their comrade as his joints snapped. Then, Ryner proceeded to dislocate the limbs of everyone present. Shoulders, elbows, wrists, knees, ankles, he pulled and twisted them, crushed and grinded them. The nine remaining bandits tried to escape, but he easily caught up to them and broke their legs before moving on to his next prey. No one could escape as they laid down on the floor, writhing in pain. Some tried to crawl away, but they didn’t get very far before he came back for them. Once he was done, he lined them all up on the ground and went to one of the three bandits that were having fun just a moment ago, their lower half still exposed for all to see.
“*Sob* pwease *Cry* pwease. I’m sorry *sob* please shtop *sob*” [Random bandit]
With no expression on his face, Ryner spoke to him in an indifferent voice.
“If you can only think with your lower body, then maybe you’ll get smart without it.” [Ryner]
He then raised his leg and stomped on the crying bandit’s manhood.
“GYAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!” [Random bandit]
He mercilessly stomped on it over and over as his victim screamed like a pig until he was sure that it was crushed before moving on to the next half-naked prey. Seeing what was about to happen to them, everyone begged and cried with more vigor. Some of them tried to get away like worms because of their broken limbs, but only managed to wiggle around in place. None of them could escape as Ryner systematically crushed their manhood starting with the woman’s three assailants. That day, the air resounded with crunching noise, bone-chilling screams of pain, cries of despair filled with sobbing and desperate begging that went unanswered.
“No matter what world you’re in, people don’t change…” [Ryner]
Once he was done and all the bandits passed out from sheer pain and terror, Ryner quietly murmured to himself while reminiscing about his past. He then went besides the unconscious woman and took another look at her. She was a fair-skinned beauty who was in her mid-twenties with an alluring figure and long dark blue hair braided in a tail that reached her lower back. Her clothes were torn which exposed her big breasts and round butt. Moreover, right where her ears should be, there were light brown animal ears that were black at the edges. Furthermore, a cat’s tail that was also light brown with a black end was poking out from behind her. She was a beastman.
A few hours passed by and the sun was starting to set, Ryner had washed the woman’s body with water and a towel that he took out from his pocket dimension. He then laid her on a blanket and put another one on top of her. He also treated her injuries and started a campfire next to her to warm her up. Furthermore, he washed her clothes and was in the process of fixing them. One of the things he was good at was sewing, whether it’d be to fix torn clothes or to stitch his wounds. While he was working on her shorts, the female beastman woke up. Her blue eyes that were a shade darker than her hair blinked a few times before she looked to the campfire crackling next to her and then down at her own body under the blanket. She began to slowly sit up while looking around her. She then noticed Ryner who was sitting a bit away from her, so she tossed the blanket to the side and jumped back. Although the woman was glaring at him, her body was trembling slightly because of what had just happened to her. Without saying anything, Ryner picked up the dagger that was lying beside him which made her flinch and then threw it towards her, stabbing it in the ground a bit away from where she was standing.
A bit startled, she cautiously watched him, wondering why he had given her a weapon. Was he telling her to fight for her life? But then, he pointed to the side and following that direction, she saw all ten of her attackers lying unconscious on the ground with broken limbs. The detestable men that violated her clearly had their crotch crushed. Understanding the situation, she picked up the dagger, nodded to Ryner who was mending her clothes and walked towards the bandits. Hearing the sound of flesh being cut apart, Ryner didn’t need to look to know what was happening and sure enough, when the sounds stopped, the beastman appeared before him, covered in blood from head to toe. The bandits had disappeared and all that were left were pieces of meat lying on grass dyed red.
“You know, I took great care to wash your body and now you’re covered in filth again.” [Ryner]
He spoke to the girl as if she went and played in mud.
“Oh my, then first let me apologize for wasting your work.” [Beastman woman]
She answered with a lovely smile while still naked, drenched in blood and a bloody dagger in her hand. Any passerby would be terrified, but Ryner calmly stared back at her with his sleepy expression.
“And next, thank you for rescuing me.” [Beastman woman]
This time, she kneeled down and bowed to him while speaking with respect, deeply thankful that this man had saved her.
“You don’t need to thank me. Truth be told, I just really wanted to kill them. That’s why saving you was more of a side effect of my actions.” [Ryner]
“… Is that so?” [Beastman woman]
‘What a weird man’ was what she thought as she had a wry smile on her face. If he really didn’t care about her, then he wouldn’t have bothered with washing her body and taking care of her. Furthermore, as they were talking, he busily kept stitching her shorts back together. Not only that, although he didn’t look like it, after seeing the injuries of the bandits, she knew that he was a powerful warrior that could treat a grown man’s body like a child’s toy. He could have killed them easily, but he left them alive so that she could have her revenge. Right now, as she kneeled on the ground, bathed in the blood of her enemies, her intuition told her that the one before her was a powerful existence that she couldn’t match. After being thrown away by her clan, she felt that this miraculous meeting was fate, so following her instincts, she prostrated before him.
“My name is Maya, please, please let me follow you as your servant.” [Maya]
“… Huh?” [Ryner]
