Martha: Part 2

When Martha told Sarah about the demon and the portal, Sarah's eyes widened in disbelief. She thought she had seen the last of demons but here she was again talking to Martha.Sarah listened intently to Martha's story and could tell that she was genuinely terrified. She had dealt with her fair share of supernatural encounters, but she had never heard of a portal opening up under someone's bed before.

"Martha, this is serious," Sarah said. "You can't just ignore it and hope it goes away. We need to figure out how to close that portal before something even worse comes through." Martha nodded in agreement, relieved that Sarah believed her. Together, they started doing research on how to close interdimensional portals. They spent hours poring over books, looking for any information that might help them. Finally, they came across a ritual that was said to be effective in closing portals.

It involved creating a circle of salt around the portal and reciting a series of incantations. Sarah and Martha decided to try the ritual that night. They gathered all the supplies they would need, including salt, candles, and a book of spells. They snuck into Martha's room and quietly set up the circle of salt around the portal. Then, they began to recite the incantations. At first, nothing happened. But as they continued, the air around them began to shimmer and warp. Martha could feel the portal starting to close, and she knew that they were making progress. Suddenly, there was a loud bang, and the demon came out once more to stop them. It saw sarah and grinned from ear to ear "The hero of earth? What a surprise." it said before attacking them both pushing martha out the room and locking sarah inside with it.

Sarah quickly realized that she was in a dangerous situation. The demon was now blocking her exit, and she was trapped inside the room with it. She could feel its malevolent energy pulsing through the air, and she knew that she had to act fast if she wanted to survive.

Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

She took a deep breath and focused her mind. Sarah had been in countless battles against supernatural beings, and she knew that she had the skills and experience to fight back. She began to chant an incantation of her own, calling upon the power of the elements to aid her.

The demon laughed, thinking that Sarah was no match for its power. But as She continued to chant, a gust of wind suddenly blew through the room, knocking the demon off its feet. She took advantage of the momentary distraction and ran towards the portal, throwing the book of spells inside.

The demon quickly regained its footing and charged towards her, Sarah was ready. She had one more trick up her sleeve. She pulled out a vial of holy water and splashed it on the demon, causing it to shriek in pain and recoil.

With the demon weakened, Sarah quickly recited the final incantation, and the portal began to close. The demon screamed in fury, but it was too late. The portal closed shut, and the demon was sucked back into the void.

Sarah let out a sigh of relief as she collapsed onto the ground, exhausted from the battle. Martha rushed in, asking if she was okay. They hugged each other tightly, grateful to be alive for now atleast.

The two girls sat on the floor for a few moments, catching their breath and processing what had just happened. "That was intense," Martha said, still trembling with fear. "I can't believe we just fought off a demon."

Sarah nodded in agreement. "Yeah. And we closed the portal, so we won't have to worry about any more demons coming through."

Martha looked at Sarah with admiration. "You're amazing, Sarah."

Sarah smiled. "You don't have to thank me. That's what friends are for."

As they got up and started to clean up the salt and candles, Sarah couldn't help but think about what other supernatural portals might be out there, she would have to find them to truly stop these demons for good. But for now, she was just grateful it was over and Martha was safe.
