“So, this is the fallen kingdom of Vunna…”
“It certainly lives up to the title of ‘fallen kingdom’ if I do say so myself”
“Damn straight; there’s nothing even left standing!”
Three men stand before a castle, or what's left of it. The whole place is basically rubble, with a side of rubble, with even more rubble to top it off.
“Alright, since there’s so much, we need to get started right away.”

“Well, don’t just stand there, what’s the plan?”
“The plan’s simple: we split up and each search a third of the place. Rorn, you’ll search the left; Vern, you’ll take the right; and I’ll take the center.”
“Works for me! Let’s go find ourselves some artifacts!”
The three men split up each finding many artifacts of the kingdom’s past. Some are worth quite a bit, many are worthless, but they didn’t care: they all agreed that they couldn’t predict what they might find.
The man that took the center, Firn, happened to stumble upon a fallen pillar. The pillar in particular wasn’t what stood out. What did was the humanoid girl leaning on it. It seemed that two wings made of metal jutted out of her back, one was broken in half while the other was crooked. The girl looked like she had been through hell and back.
“What in the blazes?”
Firn moved in front of the angel, checking for anything. He tried to pick the girl up, only to discover he’s unable to due to the sheer weight of the girl.
But then, she stirred. Then went back to being motionless. Firn knew he had to tell Vern and Rorn, so he quickly ran across the ruins.
But alas, when he got back, she was gone.
