It was finally morning, Kitsune had woken up and asked Okami about what had happened. The two stayed in the house for a long time. Alepou had finally woken up as well, she saw Lykos on the verge of falling asleep and asked if he was okay.

Lykos: Huh? Oh...you're awake. I'm fine, are you okay though?

Alepou: Umm...yeah, why wouldn't I be?

Lykos: You don't remember anything?

Alepou: Umm last thing I remember was...

She thought back to yesterday, she remembered holding Lykos' arm while outside.

The second he said that he fell fast asleep on Alepou. She looked at him confused, but put her hand on his head. She looked around the room and saw Skylos standing in a corner.

Alepou: What's up with him, and why are you in a corner?

Skylos: Ly told me to give you space and told me to stay here, yet he was next to you and holding your hand all night long.

Alepou looked down at the fast asleep Lykos.

Alepou: He what?

Skylos: Yeah, he was holding your hand all night long.

Alepou: What even happened for him to do that?

Skylos: Thor hit you with lightning yesterday, and you've been unconscious since.

Alepou: What the fuck? We aren't going to pretend like that's a normal sentence...right?

Skylos: Now listen, I know it sounds crazy, but that's what actually happened.

Alepou: Why would a god just...?

Skylos: Okami aggravated him, and he decided to fight us to then retreat and send a Valkyrie after us.

Alepou: All that happened yesterday? Wait...did Ly fight Thor and the Valkyrie.

Skylos: No.

Alepou: Oh what a relie-

Skylos: Argos did.

Alepou: Oh for fuck's sake. WHY?!

Skylos: Well we were going to die....actually...

Alepou: WHAT?

Skylos: Yeah...unfortunately Inu got impaled by a scythe.

Alepou: And Volk, Aster and Sobaka?

Skylos: Volk and Sobaka are fine, they were helping Okami with Kitsune yesterday since she was also unconscious. Aster made food for everyone yesterday and said sorry like fifty times because he feels like he could've done more.

Alepou: Could he have?

Skylos: No, he fought a dragon...he did enough, honestly.

Alepou: A what now?

Skylos: Oh, right...the Valkyrie could revive dead things and revived a dragon...

Skylos: I don't know anymore...should I make some food for you though?

Skylos left the room, Alepou looked down at Lykos and smiled. She thought he looked so calm and worry-free when he sleeps. She moved down to hug him as thanks for trying to protect her. Furthermore, she wanted to be able to do the same for him next time, so out of nowhere, a protective bubble appeared, it covered her and Lykos.

Alepou: What is this?

She stopped hugging Lykos and moved up, the bubble disappeared. She thought about protecting Lykos again and the bubble appeared.

Alepou: Is this....a power I have? Since when?

Suddenly, Skylos peaked his head into the room.

Skylos: Hey do you want...what the hell is that?

Alepou noticed him and the bubble disappeared.

Alepou: I...I don't know...I think somehow I got a power...

Skylos: Whoa...you should ask Oka about it, he's smart when it comes to powers.

Alepou: Alright then, I'll go over there later.

In another house, Volk and Sobaka were discussing their next plan.

Volk: Should we investigate ground zero for clues about what wants to kill us?

Sobaka: I guess? It sounds stupid, but it's the only chance we got at figuring this out. Aster said it could be Hel who froze over Russia, maybe it could be her sending people to kill us.

Volk: True, Thor and the Valkyrie lady did say that they served a lady. Perhaps the lady they serve is lady Hel.

Sobaka: That is possible but are we strong enough to go over to ground zero?

Volk: Well...if we get more orbs perhaps we can get more powerful.

Sobaka: This isn't a game, and I know you live by the 'Immortal till proven otherwise' but what about us? You saw that Inu got taken from us.

Volk: I know, I know but...who knows if whoever is sending things to kill us will stop even if we leave Russia? What if they send more once we're in civilization? We'll be putting innocent civilians in danger...

Sobaka: Right...Lykos did say they wiped out his city. That confirms they don't hesitate to kill anything.

Aster walked into the house they were in.

Aster: You two okay?

Sobaka: Yeah, we're just discussing our plans.

Aster: Oh, will you be leaving the town soon?

Sobaka: We...

Volk: Yeah. Are you gonna stay? We could use an extra hand where we're going.

Aster: Oh...umm...I'm not much of a fighter, yesterday was an exception because I had no choice. I can help you by moving you to some other place though.

Sobaka: Huh?

Aster: I have a power that lets me make a portal to places I have been, I can't take you out of Russia with it, but I can move you far.

Volk and Sobaka looked at each other.

Volk: Since when?

Aster: Since I was fourteen, I hadn't told you because it wasn't useful till you told me you'd be leaving.

Sobaka: That would be really useful...also, we kinda did promise Skylos that we'd look for the man you talked about.

Aster: So you want to go towards where he went?

Sobaka and Volk looked at each other again.

Volk: We should ask everyone else first.

Sobaka: Yeah.

Aster: Alright then, whenever you want to leave just tell me, I'll be waiting for you at my house.

Volk: Alright.

Aster waved at them and started walking towards the door.

Volk: Wait.

Aster: Hmm?

Volk: Thanks for everything, Aster. We couldn't have done a lot of things without you.

Aster smiled.

Aster: Haha, it's alright, it was good to have some company for a while. I hope to see you all again.

He waved bye again and walked out of the house. The room felt uneasy as worry about the future began to take room in their heads.
