The newly formed team began their search. The door out the backroom was directly in front of them and so after exiting the room, they found themselves in a long mazelike hallway with many directions to go in.

“We need to find our gear, keep an eye out,” Lush stated.

“Scal and I can fight without weapons,” Tolar said.

Scal’s antenna shook slightly, “There are people to the left, we’d better be stealthy.” Scal whispered.

Lush stuck her head out the corner to the left and then tiptoed past and waved her hand signalling for the others to follow her. They made it past with surprising grace and subtlety.

Knight quickly stuck his head back out and saw that it was two humans in armour chatting. They walked another few dozen feet down the hall and saw a room with nobody in it. The group quickly walked in and saw an ornate steel table with a pile of armour and weapons on it.

“Our gear!” Scal exclaimed.

They quickly put on their armour and grabbed their weapons.

Lish confidently said, “Now, we have a score to settle with these jokers!”

“I’m inclined to agree” Julakeshnor stated.

The group rushed back to the two humans where Lish fired off two shots with her laser pistol, burning one of them who fell down. Then Julakeshnor heated up the coils on her doshko(a staff with curved points wielded like a scythe and axe) causing it’s blades to start burning. Julakeshnor cut straight through the other human's midsection causing her to fall down, dead.

“That was quite fast” Scal noted.

“Look out!” Pointed out Knight as more enemies ran at them.
