“These people are heartless!” exclaimed Angi
“OH, didn’t know you could measure a person subjunctive wise,”
“I wasn’t being rhetorical, I mean literally, all ten of them are missing a heart.”
“Huh?’ she looked at Angi in confusion
"heh, are, you finally going mad?"
“Tch, see for yourself,”
Vision share, a function where Angi shares his point of view with Eden. This function has helped Eden escape many dire situations by knowing the enemy’s weakness, position, mental and physical status beforehand.
“The fuck?, is that even possible even with magic? I mean, their vitals, even in the scan, are perfectly normal. As if the body didn’t notice the fact that they lost a heart.”
“Magic is indeed exceptional and mysterious. I’m humanities centuries greatest AI and yet I can’t even comprehend this,” said a bewildered Angi.
While both of them were figuring out what to do, Eva and the blacksmith were still arguing about the authenticity of the store.
“Yeah, sure I believe you, a man dressed in rags selling goods under a flimsy shop, which I am sure was made this morning, is a master blacksmith who usually earns almost 30,000 Min, per month.
“I… I… um, materialistic objects doesn't interest me,”
“Wow, that is a lame way to say, I got no money, so I became a con- man.”
“So, Angi, those daggers, are they worth the money?”
“In the modern world, it would sell for a minimum of 20,”
“200,000? that a lot,”
“No, 20 billion” said Angi nonchalantly
“Say what, now?”
“Buy it, trust me,” said Angi with a grin
“OOK, Mr. smith, I will buy this for 10,000 Min,” Said Eden.

“10..10..10,00?” stuttered the blacksmith
“My Lady?!” Eva tried to argue
“You have never held a kitchen knife before, how are you…..”
“Sh…” Eden laid a figure on Eva’s lip, gesturing her not to argue
She turned towards the smith. “10,000 isn’t just for the dagger, if you want a stable job, with a suitable salary, then come to this address and show this badge to the guards at the front gate.” Eden handed him a badge engraved with the Blanchester crest on it. She grabbed Eva’s arm and walked away.
“Eva, you noticed them, right?” whispered Eden
“Over five. Their stealth is that of an amateur, and they aren’t even trying to mask their hostility. Still, their moments are uniform and strong. So I estimate all went through knight training or something similar at one point.”
“Damn, she’s pretty good,” admired Angi
“How many would you be able to take down"?
“Well, almost five, if they are well trained knights.”
Eden thought for a while. She herself could take down all ten with no problem if it was her old body. But her sheltered princess body, she isn’t sure.
“Angi, show me a less crowded area, where no one will notice us,”
“Sigh, what nonsense are you up to now?”
““Just show alright”
Angi scanned the area, few meters away from the street there is a small hill which was completely isolated during this time. They made their way towards the hill, while acting as if nothing had happened. They even brought souvenirs while they were at it.
Almost an hour passed by the time they reached the top of the mountain.
“Come out now,”
“My, my, lady, never thought you would notice us,” said a burly looking man with a sword strapped to his waist. All of them were carrying a sword and dressed as poor mercenaries.
“Who sent you?” asked Eva while shielding Eden. She was trying to think of ways to buy time, so that Eden could escape.
“Sigh, why do dead people even care. But, since we kind and generous people, we will tell you one thing. Our boss only wants your lady’s body, preferable dead., so we can kill you both in any manner we want,” he said while smacking his lips. Others were grinning at the idea.
“Fucking asshole” Eva was about to launch herself when.
“BANG! BANG!” she felt a cold air passing by her ear, and the man who was speaking was on the ground howling in pain, blood pouring out his leg. Near to him was another of his companions, but instead of howling or thrashing, he was lying on the ground lifeless, with a wide grin, his eyes wide open and pupils rolled up.
No one moved, all were shocked at what happened. Eva hurriedly turned her turned to see if Eden was all right.
“Man, it’s been long since I used one of these,”
“Did you really have to waste two bullets?”
“Well, I just did at the spur of the moment, I guess and they are so damn cliché, can’t these people use something new?.”
“Anyhow, what were you dipshits saying?, couldn’t hear what you said.” Asked Eden, pointing her gun at them with a small grin which sent a chill down all their spines, including Eva.
“MO… MON.. MOMSTER!” the assailants screamed. They ran, trying to escape her.
“You know, if you had done a through background check and didn’t underestimate your target, you would have escaped alive. Well, background check won’t be of use since I keep a low profile, but still.
She shot each one of them in their legs, making it impossible for them to run.”
“Now then, which pervert sent you and why do they want to play with my dead body, hmm?”
